Chapter Five

Before 2 pm in SunVille, different expensive cars were already arriving at the CH hotel.

The airports welcomed big investors as they headed towards the meeting venue.

Bianca sat in her car with her eyes focused on the screen of her phone. They already arrived at the location but she decided to stay in the car for a while.

"You aren't even looking at these people." Mila nudged Bianca who looked up at the people getting into the hotel.

"Of all places they could hold a meeting, it's in a hotel." Bianca rolled her eyes as she dropped her phone in her bag.

"So it'll be easier for those from a long distance to lodge in the hotel. Besides, they booked the whole restaurant for the meeting." Mila said but Bianca was indifferent.

Bianca watched for a few more minutes with her arms folded across her chest. She suddenly pulled open the door and stepped out, and Mila followed.

Everyone's attention was drawn to the young and beautiful woman who walked majestically towards the entrance of the hotel.

"Alpha Bianca." Someone called her attention and she saw a man in his thirties approach her. "It's so good to see you here."

"It's so good to see you too here Jax." Bianca forced a smile at him.

"After our last partnership, we haven't really gotten in touch and you blocked my calls." The man, Jax said with a slight smirk. "Good thing we met again. I wasn't expecting you to attend the meeting since…"

"If you would excuse me, Jax." Bianca cut him off before she walked away.

Jax licked his lips as he watched her walk away and he couldn't deny the fact that she was not in that dress of hers.

"Isn't Sir Jax shameful at all? He was just looking at Alpha Bianca with lust."

"I heard that he is a womanizer and slept with most of his female employees."

"What a man." The women whispered as they watched Jax also step into the hotel.

The visitors were all led to the restaurant with assigned tables but the meeting was yet to start.

People walked around saying hi to each other and conversing like they normally do in gatherings. It looked like the bosses of the companies attended the meeting more this time.

"How would I look if I'm already regretting coming to this meeting?" Bianca sighed as she took a glass of champagne from the passing waiter.

"Alpha Bianca." A woman dressed in a beautiful red dress Bianca could recognize was one of their limited designs, sat before her with two other women.

"It is so nice to see you here Bianca. I would love to speak with you one on one." The other woman said and Bianca just nodded.

"You seem to be doing a good job ruling and at the same time managing your company. I really admire you, Bianca."

"Thank you very much. I appreciate the compliment." Bianca smiled gracefully as she looked around, scanning her environment.

The women before her kept on talking and chattering, involving her in their gossip but she just wasn't interested.

A few men approached her and spoke to her for some while about business and other things.

"It's past 2 am already?" Bianca asked Mila so she would find a reason to leave even before the meeting started.

"Five more minutes." Mila replied, making Bianca facepalm.

"Maybe it really was a bad idea that I came. You should have just represented me." Bianca complained.

She knew Bianca well that being in places filled with other rich business people from across the country was torture for her.

Being a very successful person, they would want to talk to her either about business or for their son to marry her, if possible, she should even marry them, old men.

"If just an ordinary meeting is like this, how will you cope with the annual party Alpha Raymond throws?" Mila asked as she looked at Bianca staring at her time.

"It's time already." As soon as she said that, everyone started settling down quietly and gently as they faced the stage.

Zane's cars drove into SunVille after two hours of driving from Moonshine. He tapped his fingers against the steering wheel as he focused on the road.

"Maybe coming isn't the best idea." He sighed as he looked out the window despite driving.

He hadn't visited SunVille in years even though his family came frequently, he remained in Moonshine dealing with one affair or the other.

He had grown up visiting SunVille frequently but he just didn't find anything interesting in visiting there again and he didn't even know the reason he accepted to come to the meeting on his own.

"Which hotel is holding the meeting?" Zane asked through the earbuds in his ears.

"CH."

Back in the hotel, Mila whispered to Bianca some rumors she heard.

"I heard the CEO of Moonlight industry would be coming to the meeting today." Mila whispered and Bianca looked around.

"That's just a silly rumor. They will start the meeting officially in five minutes and he's not here yet." Bianca rolled her eyes.

"They might be late or something due to crossing the borders, you know. Rogues attack their city borders too so they might come across them." Mils reasoned but Bianca just rolled her eyes and sipped from her champagne flute.

Zane's car drove towards the CH hotel as he tapped his fist against the steering wheel. He seemed pissed for a reason but didn't say a word as he stopped the car.

"Get my penthouse ready by the time I'm done here." He tossed the keys to Ryker who nodded before getting back into his car.

Gianna rushed out of her car and followed behind him with her iPad in her hands.

"Why are they delaying the start of the meeting again?" Bianca growled angrily.

"You should…"

Bianca didn't hear any other words Mila was uttering, her senses picked something new and hypnotic. She had never felt something like that before.

'What's this new feeling?' She asked in her head.

Zane felt the same thing as he walked towards the venue and as soon as he stepped into the restaurant, he understood it all.

"Mate."
