Chapter 08: Taking her daughter home

Mrs. Wade informed the hospital administration about her desire to adopt the girl and as expected they were surprised but happy at the same time. Mr. Victor also took a sigh of relief as deep down his heart he was also ....not satisfied with his decision (of sending her to an NGO facility) himself.

He told Mrs. Wade that she was doing a great job and he would feel more than happy if he would be of any help them in future.

Mr. Victor was not a greedy man, but he was the head of an organisation and it was his responsibility to take certain measures to protect his associates from any possible threats in the future.

He had a lot of contacts and with a influence like his, it was easy to make sure the documentation procedure for adoption was over within a day. He even had a word with the local authorities and got the matter settled for her regarding other required documents.

Natalie was sitting in her room, looking at the mirror in her hand. In the mirror, she could see a face that she could barely recognise. Ofcourse! the features were somewhat matching with her younger self but she was trying to adjust to the fact that she was not a child anymore. She lost her teenage years!

Something that others would cherish for their lifetime...but she was quite unlucky in that case.

Earlier, she didn't attend a primary school because of her being extraordinary than other students. And then when she finally got her parents agreed to get her admitted to a high school....She lost everything! She just had a memory of one and half of her high school...That's it!

But, she could see her parents there...yes....right there in front of her! Those eyes were of her mom and her nose was just like her father. She received the best features of both her parents.

Natalie told herself that she will take care of herself, because if something happened to her...that will be the end of the SAMRAT family and she would never want that!

She had to find and eliminate the enemies of her family as well as build an empire to restore her family's lost glory.

Natalie kept the mirror aside and struggled to stand up from her bed. Although, Natalie was being able to walk, it was still a struggle for her. Her limbs were still weak but staying in bed would make it worse, that is what the doctor's said. She need to re-built her muscles by constantly trying and doing simple exercises.

The doctor's said that she had a possibility of recovering earlier than the assumed time if she was willing to put-in a little effort, because her muscles looked quite strong and developed, as if she had gone through some rigorous training in her childhood.

To this Natalie felt proud of her parents, it was them who had thought so much for her.

Natalie Samrat was a kick-boxing champion. Leave girls...even boys order than her age were not able to stand in front of her for more than a few minutes. All except one!....her friend Zie.... Although, she managed to defeat him everytime, but it was always a tough fight and that's how they become the best of friends after their first duel!

Natalie's reflexes were so trained that her body would act on its own if anyone would charge an attack towards her and  it was all because of the rigorous training of 9 years, she had received before she landed up in hospital.

She began training at the age of 4 with her father. His father was a champion himself, so it was obvious that the fundamental training she received was of high Quality.

Natalie was 5'8"now, which means her height only grew by three inches, she was already 5'5"  seven years back and was the tallest among other students in her class.

Natalie thought it was because of lack of any physical activity and proper nutrition. Well, she was not that disappointed....she was almost the same height as her mother which was fine with her!

As she was performing her stretching exercises,  she saw Mrs. wade entering the room with a man in a expensive formal suit. He was a tall man who looked in his late 50's and his face looked quite similar to her, but she was not sure where she has met him.

It was when Mrs. Wade introduced her to him that she realised he was Mr. Victor, the owner of  "the Max". Mr. Victor had  kindness in his eyes but the aura around him, speak of his authority!

Natalie saw his picture on the hospital Calendar and that's how his face looked familiar.

She greeted him and he looked pleased by her politeness.

He spoke in a tone as gentle as he could "Your name has been registered as Miss Fuoco Wade and all your documents will be ready by tomorrow. Mrs. Wade has insisted on taking you home but you can stay here for some more days if you want to."

Natalie replied " Thankyou, Uncle. But, I would like to go with Auntie Wade. Ever since, i have opened my eyes,  i have just stayed in the hospital but now, i long to go out and live a normal life"

Mr. Victor was about to say something but stopped himself. He thought for a while and asked her "So....Fuoco...have you thought anything about future? I mean...is there something you want my help with?"

Natalie thought for a while, then she spoke hesitating " Actually....yes.....i want to study....but i don't know if that is possible!" and with that her face became sad.

Mr. Victor was moved by her answer, he really liked that the girl was a fighter, even after enduring so much...she was looking forward to become independent and capable by educating herself!

He replied " Don't worry about that, Once you recover....i will arrange for your education! Just let me know which course you want to persue."

Natalie thanked him and after that he left after wishing her luck.

Mrs. Wade hugged her and said " So,Are you ready to go home, little Fuoco?"

Natalie smiled and said " yes...Aun....Mother!!!"

Mrs. Wade felt as if she has finally found peace in her life. She could just simply smile back at the young girl....She was taking her daughter home!
