Chapter 07: Would you like to be my daughter?

Mrs. Wade went home happily, not suspecting Natalie even for once.

Natalie choose this name deliberately.... FUOCO means Fire in Italian.....and she was not thinking straight....there was only one thing inside her.... fire!!! 

Yes, she was burning from inside!

She wanted to burn her family's enemies in the same fire ....she wanted to grill them and fed their flesh to the hounds!

Natalie SAMRAT is going to hunt them down....each one of them who was involved!!! She wasn't sure if there was one person behind it or many...but whatever may be the case....the end of all of them would be the same!!!!

Natalie Samrat was a genius, she was sharp not only in mathematics, science and computer but in language too....she was fluent in 14 languages, infact she was planning on learning more after her 13th birthday...but unfortunately that never happened! This tragedy took everything from her...she not only lost her family but also her teenage years!!!!...

She lost everyone she loved!

As she thought about it, her eyes welled up again and things begin revolving in her mind as if it was a matter of yesterday only!

She was born on Christmas Eve and That's why his grandfather named her "NATALIE" ..... a french name for someone who is born on Christmas!!!!

December was considered as the best month among their family.....as the whole SAMRAT family used to get together and get involved in a month long celebration!!!

They used to go for picnic's , adventure trips , for a walk in the woods and what not! 

Infact during these times, the security at "The SAMRAT MANSION" used to be the heaviest!!!

The number of security personnel guarding their house were increased by double!

She had 4 grandparents ( two from maternal side and two from paternal side) , Two amazing Uncles  and their wives, a Lovely Aunts who was supposed to get married the following year. 

Her father were four siblings, three brother's and one sister, while her mother was a single child. 

Natalie's father was the eldest of them all and infact her uncle's were married recently! So, she didn't had any cousin's but her both Aunt's were pregnant!

So , that's why the celebration that year was bigger than ever!

Everyone was happy!!!!

And, it end-up like this???? 

Natalie's Eyes became red and started sobbing again thinking of it all!!!

She was eagerly waiting for her small cousin's, so she could be the big sister and  boss around!

It was 18th December, 2014....just a week before her birthday....she was sad as her bestfriend was sick and his parents took him to Toranto but he had promised to visit her on her birthday and that they will have a blast!

So, his family arranged a small party to cheer her up.

They all enjoyed in the party and after dinner, she felt too sleepy , so, she went to her room to sleep while rest of her family was sitting there chatting.

She went to her bed and.... was soon engrossed in a deep sleep....a sleep that took away her family...her friends...her identity... everything!

Natalie was not able to remember a single thing in-between her sleep and her waking-up after seven years!

No matter how much she tried.....it lead to the same result!

While she was thinking it all again and again, something came to her mind.....Her bestfriend... Zie!!! where was he? Was he also?....no..no.. he was in Toranto during that time...so it is not possible! But, then why didn't he came for her? was it that he had forgotten her?

Ofcourse , after all....they were friends for just more than a year...and he was 3 years older than her....when they met..she was in 1st year of her high school while, he was in 3rd....next year when he was in final year...she was only in 2nd year....infact his parents were going to sent him abroad for college after high school. So, it's obvious he must have moved on!

Natalie suddenly felt as if she was alone in this world!!!! There was not a single soul...who was waiting for her! who wanted her!

Natalie grabbed her blanket tightly close to her chest....and due to a lot of crying, quickly fall asleep!!!

As days went by, Natalie was showing significant improvement in her health!

It was almost a month and Natalie was now able to do all her activities without any help including walking! It was just that she was still not ready for carrying out heavy activities....like running, jumping, e.t.c. as her body was still weak!

Dr. Andrews was quite impressed by the pace of  Natalie's recovery.

And yes...she was not Natalie anymore....she was FUOCO!

It was almost month-end and FUOCO had already recovered to a level that.... she needed no more  hospitalisation.

 So, Mr. Victor called up Dr. Andrews that day to inform him that they would be shifting Fuoco to the NGO he mentioned earlier in the meeting held a month ago.

Dr.Andrews headed straight to meet Mrs. Wade after meeting Mr. Victor and told her " Mrs. Wade, i think it's time! you should go and talk to Fuoco about it....if you need my help, i can accompany you but you need to hurry up as the People from The NGO would be visiting in a day or two."

Mrs. Wade turned pale listening to the last part of the information. She need to tell her everything....today itself!

She thanked Dr. Andrews for his help and headed towards the familiar ward!

Fuoco was sitting on her bed reading a book, she had earlier asked from Dr. Andrews...which made him surprised but he was happy to lend it to her.

Mrs. Wade saw the girl reading the book with so much of attention that she felt it would be wrong to disturb her...but it was an important thing...and they had very little time.

She went near the young girl and sat beside on her bed! Fuoco slowly lifted her eyes from the book she was reading and her eyes lit-up seeing Mrs. Wade. She greeted her with a smile and Mrs. wade felt a sense of warmth.

Fuoco waited for a while for Mrs. wade to speak but when she didn't! she asked her " what is the matter, Auntie Wade?"

Hearing Fuoco's concerned voice, Mrs. Wade felt her strength coming back and she replied "Nothing child, I just wanted to ask you something" 

Fuoco said " Auntie, Don't hesitate...you are just like a mother to me....I don't remember my mother but I am sure...if there had been any...she would be have been just like you"

Fuoco tried hard to suppress her feelings as those words left her lips.

Mrs. Wade took fuoco's hand's in hers and said " Child, I don't want to disappoint you but there has been no news from your family from past seven years...also you don't remember your past as well....so....i was...just .... saying... Would you like to be my DAUGHTER???

FUOCO's expression froze...she was intelligent enough to somehow guess that the hospital was ready to throw her out anyday...and she was mentally ready for it......but What has she done to get the love of this Angel in front of her?

 Mrs. Wade not only took care of her during these past seven years but...she is now even ready to give her the position of her daughter?

Tears welled up Fuoco's eyes and she hugged Mrs. wade tightly..... letting her tears fall....she said in an almost inaudible voice " Yes, MOTHER!!!!
