Azure's POV

Erin smelled of my scent. It was intoxicating and took every ounce of willpower I possessed not to wrap her in my arms and bury my nose in her hair.

With my pup growing inside of her, she no longer smells human. She smells like home.

“I’m surprised you wanted us to meet here,” she whispered, her eyes darting around, taking everything in.

Erin has always been like that. Her curiosity constantly peeked. That’s what made her a good journalist, and also what brought her back here to me.

My little show the other night might have been terrifying to others, but beneath the surface, Erin was intrigued by what she saw. She wanted…. No, needed to know more.

“When you finally divorce the rodent you call a husband,” I opened my arms wide, a grin plastered on my face. “This is where you’ll be living.”

She arched a brow, and I knew whatever was about to come out of her mouth was going to either make my dick hard or piss me off. Either way, I’ll accept anything she’s willing to give me.
