Chapter 27 : A flight back home

It was finally the day of departure for Pari. So she asked George to drop her off at the airport as she didn't want an anxious Ian around her when she boarded.

"Call me at least 10 times per day" Ian began his lecture session before her departure.

"Ian, 10 times is ridiculous. We'll have our own things to do. I'll call you three times a day. One video call when I get a chance. Incase of any emergency, we can always communicate through messages''

"Just 3, make it 5 please" Ian was literally begging her.

"4 at the max. No more discussions"

"OK. Fine. But you need to stay safe. Don't fall sick, don't get hurt and no crying because of anything "

"Ian… I'm going home, not to some warfield. Calm down. I'll be fine. Just promise me that you'll take care of yourself. Don't be lazy at work. Don't drink too much. Don't be harsh on yourself. Is that clear?"

"Yes mam. As long as you're fine, I'll be fine "

"George must be downstairs. I need to leave in time to catch my flight" She hugged him.
