Chapter 3

I don’t think a muscle or part of my body wasn’t in pain.

I relived all over again like my teeth were pulled up while I was whipped.

I could only hear the strange, soft voice in this hell of mine.

" Do not touch her, talk to her, or anything that could hurt her, ecause you will not only answer to me, but to the king himself !” There was determination in that soft and calm voice of hers.

I was cold and hot at the same time, without the power to do anything to help myself.

I could only pray to a God that the pain would pass and it would be over... the nightmare of my poor life.

Until I passed out every time the pain became unbearable.

My eyes were heavy, and my head also, just like my body was, but I hadn’t felt any pain, just an urge to wake up.

And I did.

The room was dark, but I could tell that outside was a day, behind thick red curtains, that blocked the windows.

I was in a big, black kingsize bed, next to which was a nightstand with a candle, which was the only light in the big room.

There was an open door, to the big bathroom, all in white and gold patterns.

The black closet was over the entire wall, also opened and there were clothes in my size, everything I needed, but it was strange that there were mostly dresses and beautiful ones.

The strangest thing of all was that I could see all those details in the dark, which gave me doubt, about the heaven that I was imagining.

My feet touched a soft red carpet and walked toward a big mirror in front of a bed.

I looked different, even in those white, thin dress that was covering me.

A rage grew inside my mind, and I opened the curtains on the windows so that I could see better.

I was shocked, to put it mildly.

My eyes were purple, and my hair was a bloody red, falling on my back, in curls. I stored the dress and there was nothing of the scars that they gave me.

It was soft and white, paler than it was before but clean and like I was glowing.

My body was good before, but now it was hot, with my breasts being bigger, and my lips also were redder.

At least my tiny waist and little ass were the same, thank God, for something familiar.

I was afraid to open my mouth, but I needed to know.

So I smiled.

My eyes almost popped out from shock.

My teeth were white as snow, and there were all of them, even my fangs, but they were a bit bigger than usual, just a bit, which didn’t bother me, it wasn’t noticeable, just to me.

“Where was I?” I wondered.

The footsteps were approaching, and I could hear them from afar, which was another strange thing.

The big, heavy door was opened, and a woman was standing there, unfamiliar, yet, I felt her presence before.

“Bloody God!” She said in shock, while she was running toward the windows, to close the curtains.

Yes, that was the voice I heard in my sleep.

When the sun fell on her shoulder, nothing happened, literally.

“Don’t do that ever again”, she warned me, which was too much at this moment, for my fragile nerves

“Why?” I asked, curious.

“Vampires can’t bear the sun, girl, only pureblooded can”, she smiled, as if that would scare me.

“Are you a pureblood vampire?” I asked, feeling my throat clenching.

“I am”, but you are not, so it is dangerous”, she said.

“What am I?” I asked her, in fear.

“A King transformed you, you got his blood, so you are his property and just simple vampire”, she answered.

“Anyway, that didn’t happen never, and I need to protect you no matter what until he shows up here, Eventually, she looked worried.

“First of all, I’m not a vampire!” I said with anger, which surprised her, and me also.

I didn’t think that she could eat me, or something ...God...

“You’ll soon feel the thirst for blood, like all do”, she said, watching me closely.

“Right now, I feel without air”, I said and tore the curtains, so I could open the window.

“Also, I could eat some steak now, with potato and green salad”, I yelled angrily.

“Shit, that sun has a teeth”, I mumbled, feeling cold from outside.

“You hungry and you cold?” She asked me, in disbelief.

“Yes”, I answered and took a blanket from a bed.

“You thirsty?“She asked me, while she scratched her arm, so I could see the blood.

I felt strange, a big urge to drink, but not that blood, no...

I wanted blood, but the same one that was in me, and that fact hit me, like a hard brick.

She knew that.

I saw it in her eyes.

She knew it all, and I didn’t.

The only thing I knew was that I was a monster, not a human, not a vampire, but both.

I started to shake, from everything I had known, and didn’t know anything yet.

Strangely, there was no fear, I couldn’t feel it, just sorrow.

She came close to me and sat on the bed, where I was lying, now, lost.

“I have never seen that, in 500 years of the King’s life”, she smiled softly at me.

“Now I understand”, she whispered and stroked my hair gently.

I felt she wouldn’t hurt me, that I was protected by her, but from him?

“Who was he?” I asked myself, but like she was hearing my thoughts.

“I can’t tell you more than you know already, not yet, but I promise you’ll have everything you need, while you here”, she said.

“How long will I be here?“I asked.

“Until the King comes, in meantime, you will be learning “, she answered, with a soft smile.
