“I don’t want to be a monster, I’ll fight in my human form!” Raven was angry.
She was tired and sweaty from practicing self-defense on the training field all day
It wasn’t hard for her, but the hard part was that she needed to accept the fact, she was a monster, well, at least she saw herself like that.
Dana, in another hand, didn’t.
She saw Raven as someone special and truly brave and kindhearted, but it wasn’t something she could tell her, no.
Raven needed to understand that herself, but the first step was acceptance.
“I understand that my dear, but in your vampire form you are much more flexible and stronger”, Dana was telling her, calmly.
“Let’s try with Peter, shall we?” She raised her hand and a strong, tall man was there in no time.
He was black-haired, with dark bloody eyes, and very muscular, not to mention that he was the strongest warrior they had.
He was pissed at spoiled Raven, as he saw her, and ready to destroy her.
All vampires were fast, they had excellent speed, which made them more dangerous for other species.
He was behind Raven in a second and started choking her, to death.
His fangs were out, he wanted to bite her soft skin to make her bleed.
She felt it, and let him show his strength, to see how big that strength was.
Her knees were weak and she was losing breath, but she still didn’t want to use her vampire help in her.
She was strong enough.
Strong hit him with her elbow and threw him into a tree, where he stayed, unconscious.
Her eyes were still purple, but darker, with a small red circle around her pupils.
That look in her eyes gave Dana a smile of satisfaction.
She was content and stunned, at the same time, but she couldn’t tell Raven, not yet.
Draven needed to see this, to see her, because she was one in a million.
She was the right one for him.
“Well, I suppose that’s ll for today”, Dana said calmly.
“But, you do understand that the time will come when you’ll need to use your vamp skills?“, she was serious.
“I hope that day won’t come quickly”, Raven answered her, feeling suddenly strange.
Something familiar was near, making her restless and calm, at the same time.
She looked at the balcony of a castle and saw blue eyes that were persecuting her from that night, and later, in her dreams.
She closed her eyes in fear. It was a cold day but she felt hot all over her body.
Dana saw it too, and she knew what that was.
They were too close to each other, and it was time for them to meet.
What would come later, she couldn’t know, but she hoped that it would be as it should.
When Raven looked in the same direction again, there was no one there.
“Shit, I need a break”, she said and left in a hurry, leaving Dana more satisfied than ever.
“Don’t forget that an important event is tonight”, she yelled for her to hear, but she already knew.
Maybe that was why she was nervous so much, because of all the people,..., vampires that would be there.
Not to mention a king, he was supposed to come tonight for the event, and she must meet him.
Like she needed to thank him for what she has become, in hell, maybe.
The anger inside her tormented her heart and soul too much.
She felt that there was no place that she belonged to, no more.
That was a sad part, because she belonged right there, and she just didn’t know it yet.
The small, blond girl that was in the room, surprised her, but Raven didn’t show that.
he stayed calm, knowing that the girl was a vampire too.
It was the first time someone besides Dana was there.
The girl talked first, and it could be seen that she was nervous and frightened.
“I’m sorry my queen, but tonight I’m here with your dinner and also to help you prepare for the ball.”
“I’m also a queen’s Dana maid, and person of confidant, so you don’t need to be woryed”, she said in one breath.
Raven smiled at her.
She took the plate from the girl and started to eat, looking at the white dress on the bed.
There was lace lingerie, with silver shoes with heels on the floor.
Everything is simple and yet beautiful.
“There’s no need for fear”, she said to the girl.
“What’s your name?” Raven asked her.
“Selma, my queen”, she was smiling a bit.
“I’m not your queen Selma”, she said with a smile, starting to prepare herself for a shower.
“Oh, but you are, queen Dana said it, so it is true, and I must call you the same”, Selma answered her.
2How old are you?“Raven asked her.
“I’m 17 my queen, for almost 900 years now”, Selma answered calmly, which left Raven stunned.
“The queen saved me from death and took me as her own.”
“I owe her my life, and I found my beloved too”, Selma laughed, shyly.
Raven was looking at the girl trying to see something that she was missing, something she could understand, but her head started to hurt.
She felt there was something unexplainable to her, but she couldn’t tell what that was.
The dress was made of satin, with no sleeves, cut aside, exposing her beautiful, slim legs, while her back had a big v-cut, all the way to her butt, and faithfully followed her beautiful body structure.
Her makeup and hair were perfect, she just couldn’t recognize herself in the mirror.
“You are too beautiful, my queen”, Selma commented.
“I thought we agreed to call me Raven”, she said.
“When we alone, my queen?” Selma asked.
“I don’t see anyone her, beside us now”, Raven laughed.
“Oh, right”, Selma laughed also, which gave Raven warmth in her heart, because she knew there was someone, with whom she could be herself, without pretending or expectation, just a friend.
“Raven, you look stunning, a king will be without words”, Selma said, leaving Raven confused.
“I don’t care what king will think of me, I just want this night pass by as quick as possible”, she said to the girl and left the room. “Are you coming?” Raven asked when she saw Selma standing in the doorway. “Of course not, this is just for a pureblood elite, very high ranks of society”, she answered. “Well, that is the most stupid thing I have ever heard”, Raven was upset. “Where is your room?” She asked. “Never mind, you are coming with me”, she ordered Selma. “But, ...I can’t, I’m not even dressed properly...“, Selma was trying to escape, but Raven was persistent. “You look great, you wearing make-up, your hair is good and you wearing a dress.” “Now, take me to that ball”, Raven said, firmly. “I was never here before”, Selma said when they entered the ballroom, full of pureblooded vampires. It was huge, filled with bright lights and golden decorations, together with red and golden furniture. That didn’t leave Raven in awe. Those things didn’t bother her, she was humbl
Inside my head was a mess. I wanted him to take me there and do whatever he wanted with me, oh God... That was insane, more because of that I was a virgin, with filthy thoughts, but yet... I forgot I was also a vampire, and they had a huge urge for sex, like werewolves, maybe even more, especially with someone they loved. Could he be my beloved? No, that wasn’t possible, I just enjoyed his touch. He was hot as hell, no wonder the vampire in me was impressed, and he saved me, by the way, that is why he was in my dreams, I tried to explain to myself. Why did my whole body tremble then, wanting him so much? The whole room started to spin and I couldn’t take that. So I ran. I ran away from his touch, look, and everything he presented because I knew if I stayed, he would have me forever in his mercy. I made an excuse that my head was hurting, so I could lock myself in my room, and have a long bath, hoping he’d be gone by then. That was my first mistake. The water wasn’t helpin
She woke up alone. His smell was on her and everywhere around, and the bed was still warm. It was not long ago that he left her alone there, in the room. They room. Vampires don’t sleep, but purebloods could if they wanted to, which I think he did. The only thing she didn’t understand was why he left. Raven wanted to wake up in his arms and feel all the love she was feeling last night when they made love. She did feel loved by him, she felt all of it, but he left anyway. Her human suffered but the vampire inside her suffered more. She was angry and hurt by his behavior, she was his beloved, and she gave him all of herself, her soul, body, and heart. Everything she had belonged to him now, and forever. She let the water wash out her tears and cried in silence in the shower. She was broken, realizing that her life would be forever like this from now on, and it was tearing her apart because she could feel his love. She was at the door when he came into the room. He was wear
“Son?” Dana was trying to bring Draven back to reality. “Could Sila be his true beloved, like a second chance?” Draven asked, still confused. “No.” “Vampires are not like some werewolves, we have only one beloved for eternity if we are lucky enough, she stated. Draven smiled, bitterly. “I was sure that you to were true beloved ones, because of the love between both of you, even I could feel that”, he said. “We were in love, that is true, but...” “No buts, mother!” He interrupted her. “He left you broken-hearted, that is something I won’t allow”, he was furious. “Stop!” Dana raised her voice for the first time at him. “Now, when we are honest already, you will hear the truth”, she said in a warning tone. “Sila isn’t an ordinary witch, she is very powerful and not to be trusted, but that is another story, an ancient history.” “She insisted that your father negotiates with her, alone, without my presence, which was immediately suspicious to me, but...you know your father, he
“Where the hell is Beka?!” Arnes was pissed, because it was time to start searching for Raven, and he wanted to be sure that Beka will do her duty, as future Luna. Besides, Leon was coming with him also, so she would stay with Pack and a few best warriors. “Alpha, The future Luna, and her mother were missing, since morning”, Jay, his best warrior said to him. It was hard for him to say that to his Alpha, knowing his temper, especially since Raven wasn’t there, but it needed to be done. “What are you talking about?” “Who’s guarding the mansion and kids there?” Arnes was mad. “Well, those girls are almost all 18 years old, so they can stay by themselves. “With a pack full of horny men?” Arnes gave him a threatening look. “Put the best guards there, I don’t need no drama, until I get back”, he ordered. “I think it would be wiser that you go find that girl and her mother”, Leon was there. “It is strange that both of them missing, without word”, he teased his son more and more, k
She woke up, lying on a pile of hay, alone. Everything was still covered with blood, both of hers and panther’s, which reminded her to wonder, where did she go? A light was coming from above her head. The cave was big, in the shape of a circle, and high above was an opening through which light was entering. There was nothing that told her someone lived here, besides that stack of hay, which seemed dragged into the cave, by some animal. It must have been Panther, but she was still too young. Then it occurred to her, that there was too much blood, and traces, human traces. Hunters! They killed the panther’s parents, that’s why she had a deep cut, only a sharp and big object could do it, like a sword or machete. She was disgusted with that thought, telling herself that she would find them, but now, she needed to drink, eat something, anything. Someone’s presence has been felt by Raven. When she turned around, she couldn’t believe what she saw. The panther was too big, even fo
Arnes was furious when he was driving back to the pack. Not only Beka was lying to him, but Leon wasn’t responding to his calls, he was blocking him, and when Raven was involved, Arnes didn’t trust him. He always felt Leon’s hatred toward her, and now, he hated her, because he still felt something for her, and that was killing him inside. Beka felt his rage, but she knew that now wasn’t a good time to defy him, but later...he would be in her arms because she had enough poison from Sila, and Arnes would never doubt that the child wasn’t his, now when he knew she was a witch. One thing he didn’t know though was how black her soul was. “Do not Tell my father that you are a witch”, Arnes said to her, with the coldest voice. “Why not?” Beka was tempting him. “I’m carrying his grandson”, she said with a satisfying tone. “You better hold that spell you had all time”, he warned her, upset. “Precisely because of that child, otherwise , you both die”, he finished, leaving her breathles
“You shouldn’t sent Beka alone with him”, Amy was walking nervously around the room, clenching her fists. “Why not, dear sister?” Sila asked her, with hatred in her eyes. “You know why!” “He will harm her, when he found out, that...” “That she is carrying her lover’s child?” Sila asked, viciously. “That’s something you needed to think about before you allowed her to do it”, she stated. “You k now I couldn’t do anything to prevent it”, Amy yelled. “I do, because she’s like our mother, and she will end like her, it has nothing to do with a child”, Sila said. “How can you say that she has a temper, but like mother, I can’t accept that”, Amy was desperate. “I came here for help”, she said, pleadingly. “Sila smiled with hatred. “You came here to destroy me, to seduce Darian, because you always wanted what’s mine!” Sila hissed at her. “You talk like mother now”, Amy defended herself. “Oh, sister, I’m not like our mother, I’m much worse...” Sila had a crazy look that appeared in
