Theo threw a piece of the shirt at her. It wasn’t particularly her shirt, she sensed. Running her fingers over the silk, she could feel it. Bringing it closer to her eyes, she realized it was a black shirt.

“Wear it,” Theo muttered, reaching for a leather electric shock collar. He sighed, watching her as she pulled on the shirt.

He walked toward her and pulled her neck close. Fastening the collar around her neck, he said, “Drake has a dragon tattoo on the left side of his neck. Short curly hair. Black-framed specs. Dark brown eyes.”

“Okay,” she whispered, biting her lip at the pinch of the collar pressing against her skin.

“Carson Meyer is the person you are sold to. He has dark brown eyes, no specs, and straight jet-black hair. It’s short, though. And you already recognize their voices, if I’m not wrong, right?” Theo turned around, holding the blindfolds.

“Yes, Theo,” she replied, keeping her voice low—most probably because she couldn’t speak boldly, knowing she was sold to someone who might kill her on a mere suspicion of betrayal.

“Good. I don’t know about the other men he might make you meet. It’s all on you. And trust me, he will kill you if he gets even a hint that you’re blind. So never—not even by accident—let anyone find out the truth behind these beautiful eyes. You understand?” he growled, grabbing her chin harshly.

“Y…Yes, Sir,” she stuttered, her tears threatening to flow. But she was strong enough to hold them back.

Suddenly, the door opened, and there they were again—Carson and Drake, ready to take their purchase out of the house. Carson stared at her as she lowered her head, even while blindfolded.

He sighed. “Getting her ready, you meant this?” he asked Theo, shooting him a cold glare.

Theo gulped, glancing at Drake, who, he was sure, wouldn’t help him understand what Carson meant.

“Ehm… I’ll get her a jacket as well?” Theo guessed, hoping it was the same issue as before—maybe the shirt wasn’t good enough.

“He means the blindfold and that stupid collar. She’s not a dog,” Drake said, pinching his nose and adjusting his glasses.

“Oh, sure. I’ll remove the blindfold,” Theo muttered, quickly untying it. “But the collar can’t be removed. It’s the policy of the purchase, Sir.”

Carson and Drake stared at him as if they would rip him apart for not removing it. The awkward silence grew heavy, making Theo tremble. He could feel his soul shivering inside his skin.

“Excuse me, Sir. We’re really sorry. But we’re just following the orders from above,” Julie entered, saving Theo’s life just in time.

“Take her to the car, Drake,” Carson said, ignoring Julie’s interruption.

Drake always followed Carson’s orders. He walked over to Luna.

“Let’s go,” he whispered, offering her his hand and gesturing for her to follow him.

“Here, Sir. The collar can only be removed after two simultaneous shocks. Don’t worry, it won’t do too much harm to the pur… girl,” Julie chuckled awkwardly, noticing Carson’s jaw clench.

“The contract?” Carson asked. Julie wasted no time handing it over.

Luna followed Drake’s lead, having no idea about the paths out of this auction house. She had never been outside before.

“Hold on. There’s a car ahead,” Drake muttered, stopping her from walking into the busy road.

Luna was startled. It sounded like he knew she was blind, but he didn’t react too much—almost as if he knowingly let it go. Drake opened the car door for her and guided her inside.

“There’s water beside the seat if you need it,” he said before closing the door.

“He would’ve handed me the bottle if he knew,” Luna shook her head, dismissing her thoughts. There was no chance anyone would know. She hadn’t even been to a hospital to be tested for blindness.

Suddenly, the other car door opened. Her heart skipped a beat as someone entered. From what she could interpret, he was wearing black and had something sparkly on his hand.

“Take the back route. I don’t want anyone to see her with that thing around her neck,” Carson spoke in his deep, gravelly voice.

‘At least his voice sounds young and sexy,’ Luna thought to herself. ‘But this will probably be the same voice I’ll hear right before the gunshot.’ She frowned at the thought.

Carson glanced over his shoulder. Seeing her frowning wasn’t something he expected, but he didn’t care much. She could be as sad as she wanted.

Soon, they reached the mansion. The car stopped, and Luna moved her head, unsure of what to do next. Carson quickly stepped out as soon as Drake opened the door for him.

When he glanced at the other side, he noticed the driver had already opened Luna’s door, but she hadn’t gotten out.

“Do you need an invite to get out of the car?” Carson raised a brow, his patience already running thin.

“I’m sorry,” she whispered, stepping out and touching the car to figure out which direction to go.

“I’ll take her. You go ahead,” Drake said, watching her struggle with trembling legs.

Carson nodded and walked away. Drake moved over to Luna and gently took her hand, guiding her toward her room. It felt like he knew she needed help but didn’t say anything.

“That’s your bed, and that’s your closet on the left. The bathroom is on the right. Everything you might need should be in the closet, and if it’s not, tell the guy stationed outside your room. And don’t even think about walking around the mansion. Running away is out of the question.” Drake warned her sternly.

‘As if I wouldn’t!’ she scoffed internally. She was right—any normal person would want to stay far away from the mafia.

“Any questions?” Drake asked, raising his brows and pinching his nose.

She gulped, sighing. “Ehm… Is he going to sleep with me?” she asked innocently.

“Huh? Who?” Drake blinked, confused.

“Mr. Meyer,” she muttered, pressing her lips together.

“Uhh…” Drake stared at her before answering. “No,” he said, though even he wasn’t sure of that yet.

“Okay,” she replied, feeling slightly relieved.

“I hope not,” he muttered under his breath.

“What?” She stared straight into his eyes. He froze for a second but quickly recovered.

“Nothing. Change your clothes.” He forced a quick smile before leaving the room.

“Mr. Meyer?” Drake paused, startled by Carson standing outside Luna’s room. “What are you doing here?”

“To see her.” Carson didn’t owe him an explanation but answered anyway.

“Oh,” Drake said, awkwardly stepping aside.

Luna stopped midway to the closet. Clinging to the wall, she turned toward the sound of voices.

“What are you doing?” Carson asked, sliding his hands into his pockets. Seeing her cling to the wall struck him as odd.

“I… I was heading to the closet. Mr. Drake told me to change my clothes,” she replied, forcing a weak smile.

Carson noticed her trembling legs and breaking voice. He started to enjoy the power he felt. Even though she lowered her head before him, he knew he could make her look up.

“I have something I want you to try on,” Carson smirked, deciding how to toy with her. She wasn’t just some hooker who could demand rights.

She was his property now. He had paid three million for her. She should do at least this much.

“I… Okay,” she said, remaining still.

Carson walked to the closet and pulled out revealing lingerie in black and red. He was sure she would look stunning in them.

“Try these.” He threw the lingerie at her, and she somehow caught them. She felt the fabric and realized what they were.

Lingerie and thongs. She gulped, fingering the sheer straps. Was he planning to strip her down and take her the moment he bought her? What else did she expect—a Princess Diana treatment?

Her throat felt parched, as though a raw dryness was settled in, making it hard to swallow. Her lashes trembled, threatening to let the rivers fall a-art from her eyes. All she could think about for now was the past. The past that had haunted her for years. The past that she eventually believed she had let go of. It was all coming back. The screams of her loved ones echoed in her ears like thunderstorms rumbling.“Luna?” A soft whisper in a low, husky voice, desperate to bring her out of her trance-like state. Carson’s hand softly rested on Luna’s cheek, which was burning like flames. His other hand gripped onto both of her hands on her knees, fiercely but tenderly.“Shh… it’s going to be alright,” he whispered, getting closer to her face, his eyes glazing with concern, frantic to find hers.“I… I’m sorry,” a murmur left her lips, almost quite like a still stream.Carson wasted no time embracing her. “There is nothing to be sorry about. It’s all going to be fine.” He felt a sudden ach

  • His Blind Slave   SHATTERED ILLUSIONS

Rustling sounds, which usually make one annoyed early in the morning, were too loud to bear while sleeping. Luna slowly opened her eyes, rubbing the tip of her nose. She sat up straight, listening to two men talking.“You have two days. JUST TWO DAMN DAYS.” Carson grunted, glaring dead into Drake’s eyes.“Yes, Sir, I got it.” Drake replied, taking a deep breath, the tension in the room palpable.Carson’s eyes suddenly followed Luna’s to the bed. “Look who’s with us. If it ain’t your forbidden love,” he huffed, murmuring the last words under his breath.Luna looked down, shrugging, squeezing her chin in between her knees. Did I do something wrong again? she thought to herself, staying silent. The last thing she wanted was to draw his ire. She didn’t bother herself much since she didn’t hear him anyways, however the way he left slamming the door made her a bit bothered by it.Carson walked off without even sparing a single affectionate glance in her direction. Drake stood there startled

  • His Blind Slave   DRUNK JEALOUS?

“What the hell just happened?” Luna whispered, hugging her legs in the bathtub, the lukewarm water rippling softly around her trembling body. Her mind was in turmoil, spinning with thoughts of how slaves at other houses were treated. She had heard the horrifying stories—tales of unimaginable abuse and cruelty, of slaves broken beyond repair. She knew for certain that none of them received this kind of treatment. No kindness, no care, no reprieve—especially not after trying to escape. Her lips quivered as a darker thought surfaced, chilling her to her core. What if this was a façade? What if he planned to share her, to parade her around as some kind of twisted entertainment, forcing her to perform degrading, unspeakable acts in front of an audience? She had heard those stories too. The slaves who were returned—battered and hollow-eyed—had recounted every harrowing detail of their torment.‘Maybe they were lying. Or… maybe something is weird with this guy,’ she thought to herself, biting

Luna blinked and turned her head toward the direction of his voice. Slowly, she placed her bare feet on the cold floor. A sharp chill pierced her soles, traveling upward, leaving a trail of goosebumps along her skin. The cold seemed to seep into her very bones, heightening her vulnerability. She wore a loose T-shirt she’d found in the closet—a garment so oversized it seemed to hang precariously on her small frame, threatening to slip off her shoulders with the slightest movement. The soft fabric brushed against her skin, but its warmth was no match for the icy floor beneath her feet. Her hand was still wrapped with a small band-aid. She bit her lip, trying to steel herself against the discomfort as she cautiously made her way toward Carson. His sharp, unrelenting gaze followed her every step, each movement of hers seemingly scrutinized under his watchful eyes.“Sit,” he murmured, his legs spreading slightly as he gestured to his thighs. Luna couldn’t see them clearly, but she understoo

  • His Blind Slave   THE CAT IS OUT OF THE BAG

The screams echoed in the dimly lit room with no windows, only a metal door containing a small bar hole. The air reeked of sweat, fear, and something metallic—blood, perhaps. The three men were tied to chairs, electric cables tightly wound around their bodies, leaving no room for escape. Sparks occasionally flew from the exposed wires, casting brief, flickering shadows on their strained faces.“Open your mouths, and this will end,” Carson said calmly, his voice low and menacing, a chilling smile playing on his lips.“You damn psycho! Do whatever you want. We are not Americans. We live and die with loyalty. No one here is going to tell you anything about our boss,” Reese growled, his voice sharp despite the pain coursing through his body. He hissed in agony as the electric current continued to surge through his veins, his muscles spasming involuntarily.Carson sighed, staring at Reese as though he were a misbehaving child. “Guess then I’ll have to hold my words on that bet.” His voice w

  • His Blind Slave   POKER

The rustic metal smell filled her nostrils. She abruptly opened her eyes and tried to get out of bed.“You love to sleep, don’t you?” Carson chuckled, placing the food tray on the side of the table. Luna kept her head down, and then she realized—her collar was gone. She was free. Her hand instinctively reached for her neck. Relief washed over her as she touched the now bare skin.“Don’t get too excited. It was removed because you got sick.” Carson blankly stared at her before grabbing her chin and making her look at him. “But if you don’t behave, I can promise to put it back on. You got that?”“Ye…yes, Sir,” she replied, her lips trembling with fear.He leaned closer, grinding his teeth. Luna could feel his breath against her lips. “Good kitty. Now eat your dinner and stay where you are. Try running away once more, and I’ll take you to my dark side.” He smirked, tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear.“I…I’m sorry… Sir,” she stammered, almost letting her tears fall in front of him

  • His Blind Slave   THE ELECTRIC COLLAR

Somehow, hearing those words from his mouth sent a vital, electrifying sensation coursing through her veins, making her long desperately for more. No matter how profoundly she wanted to, his hand around her neck refused to permit it. His firm grip was a reminder of his control—a reminder that she was completely at his mercy. He kept grazing over her soft, pure skin like a hungry beast, not giving her a single chance to breathe. His lips were relentless, teasing her with light, feathery kisses before trailing lower, setting her body on fire. He knew exactly what he was doing, methodically working his way to her core, placing soft and gentle kisses along her trembling body. Her mind was blank, devoid of any thoughts about what might happen after this night, as if she had been consumed by a trance. She wanted to live solely in the moment, oblivious to the future that awaited her. The heat between them was undeniable, and for the first time, she wondered if giving in to this strange, forbi

  • His Blind Slave   GOOD KITTY

“Do you really want to keep her here?” Drake asked, glancing around the shabby room.“She should have been put here in the first place,” Carson replied calmly, his tone sharp. Drake flinched, his eyes lingering on Luna’s frail figure.“Go to your room. I’ll call you when it’s time to change the IV,” Carson ordered, putting out his cigarette with deliberate slowness. He smirked, turning his back to Drake. “Or maybe I’ll do it myself.”“Yourself? But you don’t even know the basics of how to—” Before Drake could argue further, Carson spun around, his cold glare silencing him instantly.“Shut up and leave! Always remember who’s in charge. I’m not your friend anymore, so stop talking down to me. I’ve got a limit, and you’re pushing it.” Carson’s icy stare lingered until Drake reluctantly took the cue and left the room, the door shutting softly behind him.Carson sighed, his shoulders relaxing slightly as he looked at Luna. “It’s just the beginning, and you’re already in such misery,” he mur
