Selena’s POV

“I hate him, sister,” I cried over the phone, my lips shivering and my voice low.

“Baby girl, slow down,” she said.

I tried to steady my voice. I wiped my tears before speaking again.

“I did it again. I don’t know what came over me. I slept with him again. My body betrayed me. I wanted to do the opposite,to talk to him about what happened the other time but I failed myself.

“My body betrayed me by ending up on his bed. I feel dirty. I feel like a slut, sister.”

“It’s okay, Selena,” Juliana said.

I cried even more. “It’s not okay! Stop saying that. I am a slut. My body is no longer the temple of God.”

“Do you know what hurts the most?” I asked.

“No, tell me,” Juliana replied.

“The fact that he left me on the bed and walked out without saying anything. I wasn’t angry because of the sex but because he won’t define what’s between us or talk about it.”
