64. The funeral

The funeral went smoothly. It was a simple and intimate ceremony. Though no one from Lila's circle attended, she still felt familiar with Andrew's circle. Like Henry and Evan who were always there for Andrew, not to mention Max who managed everything perfectly for Andrew.

Even a celebrity designer like Maggie came to show her respect. She didn't know Dan when he was alive, but knowing that he was like a family member to Lila and Andrew was enough for her.

Plus, Max had informed her that the boy was an unfortunate child, whose mother sold him in exchange for narcotics, and got shot when Lila was trying to rescue him.

As someone who cared about the needy and regularly gave additional help in the Caring House, she understood the depression that Lila felt. So, she would show her support to Lila as much as possible.
