“We will see who is the damn wolf.” I got startled at first hearing the voice because of how deep and rough it sounded. But after a few seconds, I realized that the voice came inside my head, not inside my ears which meant that the mind link started working.

“Adrian, is that you?” I questioned though the voice no way similar to his. It was just not the normal voice if it was really him.

And, in reply, I again heard the same voice making me again halt on my path. “It's hunter, human mate.” It took me a few seconds to register but as soon it did I felt speechless because I did not know what to say further. Interaction with him was one of the most awkward situations for me because nothing about us choosing each other as mates excited me. I still remember my first encounter with Adolph, I was just not able to sustain my excitement following which I tried to at least show some interest but failed miserably.
