Aurora’s POV

What the fuck is the witch even doing here?

“Ohh.. Aurora… You are here too?” Diana gave the most fake smile I have seen in my life.

Marinette and Rose's eyes also fell on her, and they smiled.

“Hi,” Marinette waved, and the witch waved back.

Rubbish! I don't know why they like her.

“Do you also want those shoes ma'am?” the mall attendant asked me.

“It's mine already,” I answered.

“No… Aurora, I saw those first,”

“Nevermind, get me another pair,” I said to the mall attendant.

“Hummm, This is gonna be a problem. We only have one of those remaining,” she answered.

“Oh shit!” Rose murmured.

Just one of them? Are they fucking kidding me? So I'd have to fight against my uncle's so-called fianceé for it?

“Not a problem. I could make do with these, She'd get another one,” Dianna said, with a smirk I wished to slap off her face.

“You don't make decisions for me.” I replied. “I want that, and I am getting it.”

Marinette held my arm, she always does that whenever I raise my voice like I just did, it's her way of telling me to calm down.

“I chose it first.”

“No you didn't.”

“I have really had enough of you being a disrespectful brat, Aurora,” she said as she moved her hips slightly, shifting into another one of her programmed poses.

Me? Disrespectful brat? Nice, I really want to know what she thinks about me.

Disrespectful brat is nice enough.

“Better than being a thief,” I said, loud and clear.

“Did you just call me a thief?”

“Not sure you are literate, that's the general name for people who take things that do not belong to them,” I mocked.

“Aurora! You are crossing the lines!” She yelled.

“You also crossed one when you decided to become a mistress in my uncle's home.”

“I am his fianceé, not his mistress.”

My eyes ran through her from head to toe, in a way that symbolizes scanning her worth.

“Says a gold digging whore.”

“Aurora!!!” She yelled louder this time.

Marinette pulled me aside and whispered. “You shouldn't have said that Aurora, she is your uncle's fianceé.”

“You don't tell me what to do Mari.” I pulled away from her, and I faced the witch once more, while Rose watched with an interesting grin on her face.

I don't have proof that she is a gold digger, but I have seen her tactics. She only plays perfect in front of Uncle X, but behind him, she reveals her true self.

She paced around as she dialed a number on her phone.

“I am calling Xavier.”

She is calling my sweetheart? What for? To report me to him? Is she so stupid that she doesn't know his working hours, and that she wasn't supposed to disturb him?

She brought the phone to her ear.

“Xavier… Would you believe what just happened? I accidentally stumbled into Aurora… and she called me a thief, a mistress, and a gold digging whore.” She said in a sob-like voice.

I stared at her with pure disgust, how did my uncle manage to fall for this actress?

I heard Uncle X's soft mutters, but it was inaudible because of the distance.

“I have told you… She hates me… She insulted me at the center of the mall,” she added more drama.

Ohh really…? Aren't we in an enclosed space? I should have insulted her at the center of the mall like she just said.

“Xavier… Xavier.” She called, it seemed like my sweetheart just hung up on her.

I love that man with every cell in my body, she said I insulted her right? Well… She just disgraced herself in front of the mall attendant and my friends.

“I want those shoes, I saw them first!” She told the mall attendant.

“You won't want to do that, Clara… She is a guest here, I am your VIP customer, I can pay double.” I said to the mall attendant— Clara.

She gulped hard.

“I am sorry miss. These shoes have to go to Miss Aurora, you could get another pair.” Clara said. A smirk curled up my lips.

My friends watched with raised eyebrows. I have always liked tension, and also… I like putting people in their place.

“I can pay triple,” Dianna said.

“After you pay triple, you might disappear, but Miss Aurora is our VIP, she won't disappear. Sorry ma'am.”

More satisfaction filled me as I watched my uncle's fianceé get belittled.

Clara didn't waste time packing up the black heels, and she handed it to me.

“Thanks Clara,” I said as I turned to take my leave.

“I think we are done here,” I pulled Marinette with me, and we walked out.

The look of failure on Diana's face was priceless, and the satisfaction it brought me was heavenly. I would voluntarily do despicable things just to see her face flushed with embarrassment like this.

Yep… I won.

  • My Uncle, My Forbidden love    CHAPTER 172 — OUR FOREVER

XAVIER’S POV “One year,” I said quietly as I stood on the balcony and looked over the city, the early morning light slowly spreading across the buildings. “It's been one entire year since we stood in that garden and promised to choose each other every day.” I smiled at the thought because so much had changed during those twelve months. The chaos that once surrounded our lives had finally become something distant, almost like a story that belonged to another version of us. There were no investigators waiting outside the house, no lawyers arriving with another emergency and no phone calls warning me that someone had discovered another hidden account. Instead, our mornings had become ordinary. Sometimes I woke before Aurora and found her asleep beside me, completely unaware that I was watching her. Other mornings, she was already awake, sitting near the window with her laptop while pretending she wasn't working before breakfast. We argued about schedules, forgot where we left our key

  • My Uncle, My Forbidden love    CHAPTER 171 — THE HAYES FOUNDATION

AURORA’S POV “Are you sure you want to put your name on this?” Xavier asked as he stood beside me in the quiet reception hall, his eyes moving across the large sign bearing the words Hayes Foundation while reporters and guests gathered beyond the glass doors. “Because once we launch this, everyone will know exactly where the money came from and why you decided to use part of your inheritance this way.” “I've never been more sure of anything,” I replied as I looked at the sign, feeling a quiet sense of pride settle inside me. “My parents gave me more than an inheritance, Xavier. They gave me a life, and I don't want their names to be remembered only because they were murdered.” I had spent months planning the foundation, making sure it would become something useful rather than another monument to the tragedy that had shaped my childhood. The Hayes Foundation would support young entrepreneurs who lacked access to opportunities, while also helping families who had been financially des

  • My Uncle, My Forbidden love    CHAPTER 170 — I CHOOSE YOU.

AURORA’S POV “Are you ready?” Madam Lucy asked as she stood beside me at the garden entrance, adjusting the edge of my veil while studying my face. “Because if you keep staring at that door like you're considering running away, I'm going to drag you down the aisle myself.” I laughed as I looked at her, feeling the last of my nervousness loosen. “I'm ready,” I assured her as I took a slow breath. “I'm nervous, but I'm not afraid, and I think there's a difference.” “There is,” Madam Lucy agreed as she smiled warmly. “You've spent too many years worrying about what other people would decide for you, so today should remind you that nobody is making this choice for you.” The music began outside, and I stood quietly for a moment before the doors opened. The garden appeared beyond them, filled with soft lights and flowers, and my eyes immediately found Xavier waiting at the end of the aisle. He wasn't looking at the guests or the decorations. He was looking only at me. I took the first

  • My Uncle, My Forbidden love    CHAPTER 169 — BEFORE THE WEDDING.

XAVIER’S POV “Are you nervous?” I asked myself quietly as I stood alone in the garden, staring at the lights we had left glowing around the trees. “Because I've faced men with guns, survived threats that could have destroyed everything we built, and somehow tomorrow scares me more than all of that.” I let out a quiet laugh at my own question, but the feeling in my chest didn't disappear. Tomorrow, Aurora would walk toward me as the woman she had become, and I knew I should be thinking about the wedding, the vows and the life waiting for us afterward. Instead, my mind kept returning to a little girl who had once stood in front of me with fear in her eyes. “She was twelve,” I whispered as I looked toward the empty path leading back to the mansion. “And I promised I would protect her.” The memory came back more clearly than I wanted. Aurora had been frightened, angry and completely lost after losing her parents, and I had convinced myself that keeping her safe meant taking responsib

  • My Uncle, My Forbidden love    CHAPTER 168 — THE WEDDING DECISION.

AURORA’S POV “So we're really doing this?” I asked as I stared at the wedding planner's notebook lying open between Xavier and me, the word wedding written across the first page making everything feel suddenly more real. “Because yesterday I was still trying to get used to being engaged, and today I'm apparently supposed to know what kind of flowers I want.” Xavier laughed as he leaned back in his chair, watching me struggle with the planner. “I told you we could take as much time as you wanted, but the moment people heard about the engagement, everyone decided they had a schedule for us,” he said as he reached for his coffee. “Apparently, getting married is now an emergency that requires immediate attention.” “I blame the wedding industry,” I replied as I closed the notebook with a sigh, then opened it again because I knew I wasn't actually going to escape it. “There are too many choices. Flowers, dresses, food, music, invitations, photographs, venues. How does anyone survive this

  • My Uncle, My Forbidden love    CHAPTER 167 — THE PROPOSAL.

XAVIER’S POV “Steve, I need your help with something, but if you tell Aurora before I'm ready, I'll personally make sure you spend the next month dealing with Thomas,” I said as I closed the office door behind him, watching his expression change from curiosity to amusement. “I need you to keep this completely secret because for once, I want to surprise her.” “You're planning to propose?” Steve asked as he leaned against the door, studying my face with a grin that made me immediately regret asking him for help. “Because you look more nervous about this than you did when we were preparing to arrest Edmund.” “I know how to deal with criminals,” I replied as I walked toward my desk and picked up the small ring box I had been carrying all morning. “I don't know how to propose to a woman who spent half her life being told what her future would be, because the last thing I want is for her to feel like I'm making another decision for her.” Steve's teasing expression softened when he under

  • My Uncle, My Forbidden love    Chapter 8: His Response.

Aurora's POVI met Uncle X standing at the front of the door with a stoic look on his face. His hands rested in his pocket and his muscular frame leaned on the door post. It seemed like I had gotten myself into trouble.“What did you do at the mall?” He asked, not letting me walk in.“I bought new

  • My Uncle, My Forbidden love    Chapter 3: His Little Niece Grew.

    >>> Present Xavier’s POV Damn! I watched as her receding figure faded from my presence, she was still the emotional little girl I used to know… Little? No! She isn't so little anymore. When she hugged me earlier at the airport, I felt those firm, round, juicy boobs of hers pressed onto my chest

  • My Uncle, My Forbidden love    Chapter 2: He is Here.

Aurora's POV ‘I am at the airport’ His text came through my phone as I walked out of my school’s building. “Take me to the airport,” I told the chauffeur who was already waiting for me. My drive to the airport was ecstatic, my mind filled with joy. My sweetheart was finally back. The trees,

  • My Uncle, My Forbidden love    Chapter 1: She is Waiting.

Aurora's POV Seven days left, I ticked my calendar, counting down to my sweetheart's return. I know it's wrong to call him that, but I can't help myself. He is my sweetheart. It's been a year and seven months, I was dying to see him again. I still can't believe he left for so long, does he not
