Georgia:

Evans just stands there for a moment, staring at me like I’ve lost my mind. Then, out of nowhere, he throws his head back and laughs. Loud.

“You can’t be serious,” he says, shaking his head with a smirk. “You’ll regret this, Georgia. Mark my words. You’ve got a few days to get over this little tantrum and come to your senses. Don’t forget you’re a nobody. You’ll come crawling back.”

Ah. So that’s how he sees me? An orphan with no one to turn to? That’s fine. Let him believe whatever he wants. He has no idea who I really am..or what I’m capable of.

“Evans—”

“Shut the hell up, you gold-digging bitch!”

The voice that cuts in isn’t his. It’s sharper. Nastier. I turn just in time to see Emily marching toward us, her eyes practically spitting fire.

“You seriously think you can file for a divorce and walk away with anything? Dream on. You’re not getting a single cent from him.”

I scoff and step toward her. “Who says I want anything from him?”

Without another word, I slide the diamond ring off my finger and throw it. It lands at her feet with a cold clink against the floor.

She gasps, staring at it like it just exploded.

“There. Now that I’m gone, feel free to give that to Anastasia. Since that’s what you both wanted from the start, isn’t it?”

Gasps ripple through the room, followed by a wave of murmurs. They’re stunned. Every single one of them. No one’s ever heard me raise my voice before.

I was always the quiet Luna. The obedient one. The silent shadow standing behind her husband. The daughter-in-law who never dared speak unless spoken to.

But I’m done!

Done playing their perfect little Luna!

I square my shoulders and glare straight at Evans. “Go on, Evans. Sign the damn papers. Then you can finally marry Anastasia…your precious first love.”

“Georgia—”

His voice falters, his eyes flickering with something almost soft. But it’s gone as quickly as it came. His expression hardens. He snatches the pen off the table and drags his signature across the divorce papers.

“Done. I’m finally free of you, bitch!” He looks up at me,cold. “And just like my mother said, don’t expect a dime. You’re an orphan. You have no one. And trust me, I’ll make sure no pack ever takes you in.”

I throw my head back and start to laugh.

A laugh so loud, so unhinged, it silences the room. I’m laughing so hard, my eyes well up with tears. Not from pain.

But from how unbelievably stupid I’ve been.

Two years. Two whole years wasted on this.

I gave up everything.

Even my pup was now…gone.

And for what?

All because I ran away from the only man who ever had my back—my father—just because he wanted me to marry a Lycan king everyone swore was a beast.

I thought I was doing the right thing..leaving everything behind to be with my so-called fated mate. The one the Moon Goddess herself had supposedly chosen for me.

But God… how wrong I was.

Now, I’m done being foolish. I’m going back. Back to where I came from. Back to reclaim the fortune and power I walked away from like a fool.

“Shut the hell up and get out of here, you bitch!”

Anastasia’s voice cuts through the air like a whip. She’s been quiet this whole time, but now? Oh, now she finds her voice. Of course she does. She must be overjoyed. Her biggest obstacle finally out of the way.

I glance around the room.

They're all watching.

Recording.

Whispers. Phones. Flashes. Judging eyes.

But I don’t flinch.

I don’t even speak.

Instead, I walk forward calmly, snatch the documents from the table, and storm toward the doors without looking back.

But just as my hand touches the handle, something in me pauses.

No.

I slowly turn back around, my heels clicking against the marble floor, and I meet every single stare in that room head-on.

“One more thing,” I say coolly. “There’s still something left for me to do.”

Evans only lets out a low chuckle. “I told you, Georgia. I’m not giving you a single cent.”

“I don’t want your damn money, Evans.” I narrow my eyes at him. “I want to reject you.”

A collective gasp echoes through the room.

Evans stiffens, the smirk slipping from his face. “W-What?” His voice is barely above a whisper. “You’ve gotten bold, haven’t you? First a divorce, now rejection? Trust me—”

But I don’t give him the chance to finish.

“I, Georgia Ashcroft, reject you, Evans Henshaw, as my mate!”

The pain hits instantly. A blinding wave that shoots through my chest and slams into my spine. My knees wobble, my vision blurs…but I grit my teeth and force myself to stay upright.

I won’t fall.

Not in front of them.

“Accept it, Evans,” I say through clenched teeth.

His jaw tightens. He’s trying to hold it in..the pain. He’s an Alpha, after all. But even he isn’t immune.

Finally, his lips part.

“I, Evans Henshaw of the Whitemoon Pack… reject you, Georgia Ashcroft, as my mate.”

Evans growls, loud and primal. “You fucking bitch!”

I only laugh. Deep, unbothered, and satisfied.

But then, I see it. The way his head suddenly tilts, his brows furrowing as something seems to click.

“Ashcroft?” he mutters, squinting. “Which—”

I don’t wait for him to finish. I spin on my heels and storm out of the room, the documents still in hand. My chest is burning, my body still aching from the rejection.

I head straight for the car and fling the door open, reaching for my bag.

A soft gasp breaks my thoughts.

“L–Luna?” Arielle, my personal maid, rushes toward me, her face pale with worry. “Are you… are you going somewhere? Should I come with you?”

I pause, forcing a smile. It hurts to lie to her. Arielle has been the only kind soul in that house. The only one who ever looked at me like I mattered.

“Yes, Arielle. But don’t worry, I’ll be back soon,” I lie gently.

She nods quickly. Then, I press the car keys into her hand.

“Give these to Evans when you see him,” I say, turning away before I change my mind.

With my bag over my shoulder, I pull out my phone and quickly dial the one number that still feels like home.

My brother. Deckard Ashcroft.

It rings once. Twice. And then—

“Georgia!” His voice beams through the speaker. “How the hell are you?”

“I feel like a free woman.”

“What—?”

“I just divorced Evans,” I say, grinning now. “Come pick me up. I’m coming home.”

He goes quiet. Then gasps.

Georgia's POV It seems like reporters are having an absolute field day with my personal life. Every café I walk into, people stare at me like I'm some A-list celebrity. Enzo and I are trending everywhere. I still don't understand what's so special about having lunch with the man. Everyone's acting like it's the end of the world. My father won't stop teasing me about it, and some of the servants at home are even asking when we're setting a wedding date. I don't know if I should be annoyed or find it funny—which is so unlike me. I've never liked being shipped with any man. Even long before I met Evans, I always kept my personal life private. Guarded. Off-limits. But with Enzo? It's like I'm willing to throw all of that out the window. Take risks I'd never normally take. And I'm not even bothered by what might happen or what people will say. What's wrong with me? "You've been awfully quiet, Miss Georgia." A voice pulls me out of my spiraling thoughts. I glance up to see Ivy sta

Enzo's POV "You look disappointed that I'm the one you're seeing. Why's that?" Deckard asks, standing and watching me with an amused expression. I let out a chuckle. I'm not going to lie, I was expecting to see Georgia, not her brother. I haven't seen Deckard at any of the conference meetings lately. It's always Lexi who shows up. She seems to love that kind of spotlight. "You got me." I lean back, not bothering to hide it. "I was hoping to see her. We had a great time at lunch yesterday, and I know she's still keeping her walls up, but..." I pause, remembering the way she looked at me. "I'm not giving up until she feels completely comfortable around me." My chest tightens just thinking about it. "You should've seen the way she was smiling yesterday, Deckard. It didn't feel like we were strangers anymore. Not like it did two years ago." A genuine smile tugs at my lips. "The rest of the people in that restaurant? They didn't even exist. I didn't care if someone was snapping photo

Evans' POV: "I keep telling you, Ana. You don't need to ask for my permission every time you want to spend money. You're going to be my wife, My Luna and The mother of my children." I grip the steering wheel a little tighter. "Why would I ever restrict the love of my life from anything she wants?" Delta Xander scoffs from the passenger seat, and I shoot him a sharp glare. I'm doing him a favor by picking him up from the gym this early. He'd better not start annoying me already. "You really are the best, Evans!!" Ana's voice practically squeals through the phone speaker. "You always know exactly how to lift my spirits. I've been so upset ever since you left this morning, and then your mother gave me some terrible news... but I didn't want to tell you over the phone. I don't want to ruin your morning." Anastasia sounds genuinely sad. Worried. And I hate it. I don't want anything, or anyone making her feel this way. My job is to keep her happy. Protected. For the rest of o

  • His Ex-Luna Is A Secret Heiress!   Chapter 013: Take Off Your Mask.

Georgia's POV: I never thought I'd find myself here, but yet here I am. Sitting across from him again. This time, having lunch. We are drawing stares. Lots of them. I know it wasn't because of me, though. People are curious—whispers floating around about why we are together, and more importantly, why Enzo still has that damn mask on even while eating. Honestly? I don't even know how I ended up agreeing to this lunch in the first place. One minute he was at the company, stubbornly insisting on taking me out. No matter how many times I turned him down, he wouldn't leave. He just stood there, persistent as hell, until I finally caved. When I'd blatantly told him no the first time, He had left without a word. I thought that was it. But no. He was waiting right outside the building when I went for my usual afternoon walk. It was like he knew my entire schedule. Like he'd been watching, learning my routine down to the minute. And as much as it kills me to admit it... I actually w

Lexi's POV “Don’t hold back on anything, baby. Okay?” Martin says sweetly, pressing a kiss to my cheek. “Everything I have is yours. I want this to be the best wedding ever. I’m going to make sure it’s unforgettable. You have no idea how happy I am right now.” I sigh inwardly. He’s been going on like this for a while. I offer him a small smile, then turn my attention back to the bridal magazine in my lap. I can’t do this anymore. Where are my friends? They said they'd be here by now. The truth is, I don’t want to do this alone. And Martin? He’s starting to suffocate me. “You’re awfully quiet,” he says again, brushing his fingers along my cheek. “You seem tense. But don’t worry, this will all be over soon, and we’ll be on our honeymoon. You can pick anywhere you want. Heck, we could travel the whole world. And if you want to go to outer space, I’ll make it happen. That’s how much I love you, Lexi.” He keeps talking, but all I can think about is how far away I feel right now,

  • His Ex-Luna Is A Secret Heiress!   Chapter 011: Not Here To Play.

Georgia’s POVMy head is seconds away from exploding. How the hell is Lexi even running this company? There are gaps everywhere, and half the employees don’t seem to know what the word “efficiency” means.I honestly don’t know how we’re still at the top, especially after losing so many contracts. Maybe some of our investors are just blindly loyal. With a heavy sigh, I push up from my chair. Today’s already a mess. And of course, Enzo had to show up and make it worse.Grabbing the documents, I head to Lexi’s office. But as I pass through the corridor, something stops me in my tracks.A group of employees, very clearly not at their desks, are laughing over coffee in the pantry like it’s a casual hangout spot. My vision blurs red.A low growl escapes me as I march toward them. They haven’t noticed me yet, which means I catch every word of their conversation.“I still can’t believe they switched the CEO like that,” one of them says. “It’s weird. I didn’t even know Alpha Brandon Ashcrof
