Georgia:

Evans just stands there for a moment, staring at me like I’ve lost my mind. Then, out of nowhere, he throws his head back and laughs. Loud.

“You can’t be serious,” he says, shaking his head with a smirk. “You’ll regret this, Georgia. Mark my words. You’ve got a few days to get over this little tantrum and come to your senses. Don’t forget you’re a nobody. You’ll come crawling back.”

Ah. So that’s how he sees me? An orphan with no one to turn to? That’s fine. Let him believe whatever he wants. He has no idea who I really am..or what I’m capable of.

“Evans—”

“Shut the hell up, you gold-digging bitch!”

The voice that cuts in isn’t his. It’s sharper. Nastier. I turn just in time to see Emily marching toward us, her eyes practically spitting fire.

“You seriously think you can file for a divorce and walk away with anything? Dream on. You’re not getting a single cent from him.”

I scoff and step toward her. “Who says I want anything from him?”

Without another word, I slide the diamond ring off my finger and throw it. It lands at her feet with a cold clink against the floor.

She gasps, staring at it like it just exploded.

“There. Now that I’m gone, feel free to give that to Anastasia. Since that’s what you both wanted from the start, isn’t it?”

Gasps ripple through the room, followed by a wave of murmurs. They’re stunned. Every single one of them. No one’s ever heard me raise my voice before.

I was always the quiet Luna. The obedient one. The silent shadow standing behind her husband. The daughter-in-law who never dared speak unless spoken to.

But I’m done!

Done playing their perfect little Luna!

I square my shoulders and glare straight at Evans. “Go on, Evans. Sign the damn papers. Then you can finally marry Anastasia…your precious first love.”

“Georgia—”

His voice falters, his eyes flickering with something almost soft. But it’s gone as quickly as it came. His expression hardens. He snatches the pen off the table and drags his signature across the divorce papers.

“Done. I’m finally free of you, bitch!” He looks up at me,cold. “And just like my mother said, don’t expect a dime. You’re an orphan. You have no one. And trust me, I’ll make sure no pack ever takes you in.”

I throw my head back and start to laugh.

A laugh so loud, so unhinged, it silences the room. I’m laughing so hard, my eyes well up with tears. Not from pain.

But from how unbelievably stupid I’ve been.

Two years. Two whole years wasted on this.

I gave up everything.

Even my pup was now…gone.

And for what?

All because I ran away from the only man who ever had my back—my father—just because he wanted me to marry a Lycan king everyone swore was a beast.

I thought I was doing the right thing..leaving everything behind to be with my so-called fated mate. The one the Moon Goddess herself had supposedly chosen for me.

But God… how wrong I was.

Now, I’m done being foolish. I’m going back. Back to where I came from. Back to reclaim the fortune and power I walked away from like a fool.

“Shut the hell up and get out of here, you bitch!”

Anastasia’s voice cuts through the air like a whip. She’s been quiet this whole time, but now? Oh, now she finds her voice. Of course she does. She must be overjoyed. Her biggest obstacle finally out of the way.

I glance around the room.

They're all watching.

Recording.

Whispers. Phones. Flashes. Judging eyes.

But I don’t flinch.

I don’t even speak.

Instead, I walk forward calmly, snatch the documents from the table, and storm toward the doors without looking back.

But just as my hand touches the handle, something in me pauses.

No.

I slowly turn back around, my heels clicking against the marble floor, and I meet every single stare in that room head-on.

“One more thing,” I say coolly. “There’s still something left for me to do.”

Evans only lets out a low chuckle. “I told you, Georgia. I’m not giving you a single cent.”

“I don’t want your damn money, Evans.” I narrow my eyes at him. “I want to reject you.”

A collective gasp echoes through the room.

Evans stiffens, the smirk slipping from his face. “W-What?” His voice is barely above a whisper. “You’ve gotten bold, haven’t you? First a divorce, now rejection? Trust me—”

But I don’t give him the chance to finish.

“I, Georgia Ashcroft, reject you, Evans Henshaw, as my mate!”

The pain hits instantly. A blinding wave that shoots through my chest and slams into my spine. My knees wobble, my vision blurs…but I grit my teeth and force myself to stay upright.

I won’t fall.

Not in front of them.

“Accept it, Evans,” I say through clenched teeth.

His jaw tightens. He’s trying to hold it in..the pain. He’s an Alpha, after all. But even he isn’t immune.

Finally, his lips part.

“I, Evans Henshaw of the Whitemoon Pack… reject you, Georgia Ashcroft, as my mate.”

Evans growls, loud and primal. “You fucking bitch!”

I only laugh. Deep, unbothered, and satisfied.

But then, I see it. The way his head suddenly tilts, his brows furrowing as something seems to click.

“Ashcroft?” he mutters, squinting. “Which—”

I don’t wait for him to finish. I spin on my heels and storm out of the room, the documents still in hand. My chest is burning, my body still aching from the rejection.

I head straight for the car and fling the door open, reaching for my bag.

A soft gasp breaks my thoughts.

“L–Luna?” Arielle, my personal maid, rushes toward me, her face pale with worry. “Are you… are you going somewhere? Should I come with you?”

I pause, forcing a smile. It hurts to lie to her. Arielle has been the only kind soul in that house. The only one who ever looked at me like I mattered.

“Yes, Arielle. But don’t worry, I’ll be back soon,” I lie gently.

She nods quickly. Then, I press the car keys into her hand.

“Give these to Evans when you see him,” I say, turning away before I change my mind.

With my bag over my shoulder, I pull out my phone and quickly dial the one number that still feels like home.

My brother. Deckard Ashcroft.

It rings once. Twice. And then—

“Georgia!” His voice beams through the speaker. “How the hell are you?”

“I feel like a free woman.”

“What—?”

“I just divorced Evans,” I say, grinning now. “Come pick me up. I’m coming home.”

He goes quiet. Then gasps.

Enzo’s Pov: He’s on the ground, dazed but alive. The explosion knocked him back before he reached Lexi. And Lexi? She’s smiling. Actually smiling. “I told you it would work,” she says, and her voice is completely different from before. No fear. Just cold satisfaction. From the shadows, a man emerges. He’s so much Tall, muscular, with those cold eyes from the photo. Keith Morrison. “Right on time,” he says, looking directly at Georgia. “I was starting to think you wouldn’t show.” Georgia starts to stand, but I keep her behind me. “You wanted me?” she calls out with a loud breath. “Here I am. Let Lexi go.” “Let her go?” Keith laughs. “Sweetheart, Lexi isn’t my prisoner. She’s my partner.” Martin, still on the ground, stares at his fiancée in disbelief.“Lexi?” He blinks twice. “What’s… what’s he talking about?” Lexi’s smile widens. “Oh, Martin. You really are adorably naive. Did you honestly think I loved you? That I wanted to marry into your family for anything other than

  • His Ex-Luna Is A Secret Heiress!   Chapter 028: Bait.

Enzo’s POV: “Absolutely not. I’m not letting you use Georgia as bait.” I’m standing in Alpha Brandon’s war room—because that’s essentially what it’s become—and every instinct I have is screaming at me to take Georgia far away from here. But she’s refusing to leave. “It’s the only way to save Lexi,” Georgia argues. “Keith wants me. If we don’t give him what he wants—” “Then we find another way,” I interrupt. “We track him down. We raid wherever he’s keeping Lexi. We do literally anything except hand you over to a man who does ‘wet work’ for a living.” “Enzo’s right,” Brandon says. “This is too dangerous.” “Lexi is going to be Martin’s wife,” Georgia counters, her eyes darting between Alpha Brandon and I . “She’s family. We don’t abandon family.” “Even family who lied about their entire identity?” Deckard asks. Georgia hesitates, and I can see the conflict on her face. She’s right that Lexi is technically family. But she’s also a woman who’s been lying to all of them

  • His Ex-Luna Is A Secret Heiress!   Chapter 027: Exchange.

Georgia’s POV “Are you sure you’re okay?” Enzo asks me this for the third time since we got back to my father’s house, and for the third time, I give him the same answer. “I’m fine. Really.” But I’m not fine. Not really. Finding out that Anastasia has been stalking me, planning to have me killed—that’s terrifying enough. But having to face Evans, having to tell him about the baby I lost? That reopened wounds I thought had finally started to heal. “You don’t have to pretend with me,” Enzo says gently. We’re sitting in my father’s study, alone, while the rest of my family gives us space. “I know today was difficult.” I lean back against the couch, closing my eyes. “Do you know what the worst part is?” “What?” “When I told Evans about the baby, I saw genuine shock on his face. Real pain. Like he actually cared.” I open my eyes and look at Enzo. “And for a split second, I wondered if things might have been different. If I’d told him about the pregnancy sooner, befo

Evans’ pov: When the recording ends, I’m shaking.I can’t fucking believe this. “Where is she?” I manage to ask. “Where’s Anastasia?” “Probably at your house,” Georgia says. “Unless she’s smart enough to run.” I pull out my phone and dial Anastasia’s number. It goes straight to voicemail. I try again. Same result. “She’s not answering.” “Of course she’s not,” Enzo says. “She knows we have evidence. She knows she’s caught. My lawyers are already preparing to file charges. Stalking, conspiracy, attempted murder—” “Wait.” I hold up a hand. “Just… wait. Let me talk to her first. Let me figure out what the hell is going on.” “There’s nothing to figure out,” Georgia says coldly. “She admitted everything. You heard the recording.” “I know, but…” I run a hand through my hair. “I need to hear it from her directly. I need to understand why.” “Why does it matter?” Brandon asks. “The woman tried to have my daughter killed. She belongs in prison.” “I know! I just…” God, I can barely

  • His Ex-Luna Is A Secret Heiress!   Chapter 025: We had.. a baby?

Evans’ POV I’ve been standing outside the Ashcroft estate for twenty minutes, and I’m seconds away from losing my mind. The security team won’t let me through. They keep saying Georgia isn’t home, that she’s not available, that I need to leave. But I know she’s here. She has to be. My lawyers called this morning. Told me that Georgia’s legal team has filed a restraining order against me. A restraining order! Like I’m some kind of threat to her. After everything I did for her—giving her a home, a title, a place in my pack—she has the audacity to file legal paperwork to keep me away? No. I’m not accepting this. I need to talk to her face to face. Need to explain that the jewelry accusation was a misunderstanding, that Anastasia was mistaken, that we can work this out like adults. The front door finally opens, and Alpha Brandon himself steps out. He doesn’t look happy. “Alpha Evans,” he says, his voice cold and formal. “You were told to leave. Why are you still on m

  • His Ex-Luna Is A Secret Heiress!   Chapter 024: Wet Work

Georgia’s POV The world seems to tilt sideways as I hear Anastasia’s voice coming from that phone. Anastasia hired someone to follow me. Evans’ fiancée. The woman who pushed me down the stairs. The woman who cost me my baby. She’s having me followed. “Well?” Anastasia’s voice comes through the speaker again, impatient now. “Did you get the photos or not? I’m paying you good money, and I expect results.” Enzo doesn’t say anything. He just hits the speaker button and sets the phone on a nearby table, letting Anastasia’s words fill the room. “Hello?” She sounds annoyed now. “If you’re calling to ask for more money, you can forget it. We had a deal. You follow her, you photograph her, you report her schedule to me. That’s it. No negotiations.” The man in the chair has gone completely white. Enzo turns to him, his voice deadly calm. “It seems your employer has quite the loose tongue. Now, are you going to tell me everything voluntarily, or do I need to make this difficult?” “I’l
