The Second Mate

Alexander's POV

I woke up on my bed with a crushing throbbing pain in my head as if my head was tearing apart. My heart was beating crazily and pounding heavily the moment I woke up ,gasping for breathe. I pressed the corner of my head with my two hands and sat on my bed cautiously. My head felt empty and dizzy as soon as I got up. I felt nauseous and quickly got down . I rushed towards the toilet and emptied out my stomach . My whole body started to shake like a leaf and it was hard for me to even stand upright like that . I grabbed the basin firmly with my two hands to prevent me from falling down . I was breathing heavily and cold sweat was running down my spine and forehead. looked at the mirror infront of the basin.

There I saw a complete devastated visage of mine as if I had lost every single strength in my body. My eyeballs were sunk deeply inside ,looking like a zombie and I was sweating profusely all over . The clothing that was covering my body,got half soaked with sweat
