"Julien, Julien Hugo."
Julien roused from his sleep, coming face to face with a smiling Raphaela.
"My God, Raphaela, why do you love making me so worried?" He groaned, pulling her into a bone crushing hug.
She let him hug her for as long as he wished, taking comfort in the familiar embrace and the memory of the past she had to let go.
"Where were you? I got to your house to find it razed to the ground and I went mad. Only when the police reassured me that no one was in the house did I calm down. Raphaela, I've looked for you for good four days. Why? Just why?"
She sighed, sitting beside him on his king sized bed.
"I'm sorry. I wanted to come to you sooner but things weren't so simple."
"Are you in trouble?" He placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Yes" she looked at him, "big trouble."
"Then let me..."
"You can't help" she interrupted quickly, "it's something beyond you. Julien..." She grabbed his face, "why don't you b
They spent the day chatting and having fun with the newly weds while Julien spent his day wondering if he had dreamt the incident that had taken place in the night. In the dead of the night, Raphaela gave Valentina and Antonio final hugs."I'll call once we settle in." Antonio reassured, patting her back."Thank you for everything." Valentina had said, sniffing back tears. They were leaving, going faraway, anywhere they deemed safe enough to stay and make their home. Lorenzo promised to resolve the issue with the pack members so their safety would be ensured."Be safe." Antonio said with a meaningful look at them both before transforming to his wolf form. Valentina followed. They strapped their bags to their back and with a final good bye howl, they sped off into the night.Raphaela sighed, hugging her self. The trees and bushes shook then swayed then fluttered in the midnight cool breeze. They were gone."Don't feel sad." Lorenzo said from behind her."I'm not."They returned back t
His heart skipped, his body shivered as if it had iced water poured over it."You don't have to walk so long to get to me" She whispered, her clawed fingers moving slowly to his face, to his eyes, "I'm right here."A clawed finger plunged itself into his right eye. His shout of pain got stuck in his throat."Shhh, be a man." His mother whispered to six year old him."What's she doing!?" He cried, drawing away from the witch who held a clawed finger above his right eye."Helping you."He was chained to a chair in his mother's room, the window behind him while a strange looking witch did strange things he didn't understand to him."He's strong" The witch muttered, moving away from him, "he'll be a strong Alpha after his father.""I want to have a bit of control over him." Aloha spoke. The witch shook her head, packing up her things laid out on a small wooden table to his right."No, you'll interfere in his destiny.""I'm scared he might go astray, turn against his family." Aloha persist
~~You do know that peace is found in the abandoned~~They found their way through the debris and ruin to the part of the pack house that still stood. Just their blessing, Aloha's room was in that section of the house. They successfully climbed unto an unaffected part of the entry that led up the stairs.Lorenzo stood in front, looking up at the pack house; this time with his emotions not concealed. There was longing on his face, longing and guilt. Perhaps if he had been a better Alpha, perhaps if he had not been so cold and aloof then maybe, just maybe..."Let's go in." He said to Raphaela, already taking a step but something made him sharply turn around. No one stood there, Raphaela wasn't there. He looked around sharply but no sign of her or of even anything alive, not even a footstep or shadow."Hera!" He called out, "Hera, I want her back, right this instant!""Rude..." A chilling voice whispered in his ear. He whirled around, there was no one. The environment was suddenly chilly.
Lorenzo immediately rolled away, dodging the sword by a hair's breadth."You!"He vanished off the floor and grabbed his attacker by the throat, ramming him into a wall. He vanished again, narrowly missing an arrow, a poisoned one; instead, it found its way into the body of his attacker."No!"He knocked out the one who had fired the arrow and then the rest of the group. He collapsed after, he was too weak; the dreams had sucked out all his energy and he felt like a walking corpse. He heard the sound of the arrow wheezing speedily towards him but he had no strength to dodge so he lay there, shutting his eyes and welcoming his death. But the arrow never got to him."How dare you!?" An anguished scream echoed in the silent ruins.Hera.With a wave of her hand, all his assailants fell unconscious."Raphaela" He murmured, a wave of dizziness washing over him, "I need her back."He felt her bend over him and felt her cold touch to his face."I've given you enough answers" She whispered in
"How do you feel?""Happy. I feel happy."Raphaela ran a hand through his hair. He had her caged against the verandah railings, his hands at her sides. She smiled, tracing every inch of his face."I just realized" she said, her voice like music to his ears, "that I never truly realized how much I loved you. There was always so much to consider, so much to think about, so much to fear and I hid all those feelings away so they wouldn't swallow me whole but now..." She placed a kiss on his brows, "it has swallowed me whole and I can't stop it. There's no hiding from it this time...mate."He was captivated, hypnotized by everything she did."I love you." She murmured with her forehead against his, her eyes shut.He swallowed, wondering why his heart was in a mess and why he felt like a flustered high school kid.She suddenly giggled."You're nervous." She said with a laugh. Her eyes opened, looking into his still flus
Julien stared at his phone, astonishment evident on his face. He blinked but the nine figures remained constant. He shook his head, rebooting the phone. Almost a billion dollars, impossible! But clicking on the message icon, he found the message intact, his account was just credited with about a billion dollars. He spent another minute reading every ounce of the message before he suddenly let out a joyful laugh. More than enough money he needed to create his first film.Raphaela, he thought with an exasperated sigh, she just knew how to get him. His heart swelled with love and happiness, chasing out the coldness that had resided there for a long time. She wasn't completely gone, he hadn't completely lost her. Though they couldn't be together, though he might have to live his life by himself but he wasn't alone. Wherever she was, she still thought of him, still loved him and cared for him; it was enough. It was enough for him now and he could go on with his life knowing he had someone
"You sent him a hefty sum." Raphaela commented, walking hand in hand with Lorenzo around the neighborhood Antonio lived in.She still stayed with Antonio and Valentina in their cute beautiful home but Lorenzo had left to stay in his. They had the modesty pack rule that didn't allow unmated and intending couples to cohabit.Though he lived in his home, Antonio's home was practically his second home. He would werewolf zoom his way very early in the morning and watch her sleep just so her face could be the first he saw for that day and that her first words were directed to him. He would come around and spend practically the whole day just being with her. She wasn't left out. She newly discovered to her great delight that she had the ability to make him nervous and blush. She definitely took advantage of it.She would stare at him for long minutes until she could hear the nervous pounding of his heart, see his eyes flutter in shyness and his ears and cheek turn red in embarrassment. It m
"Cicero." Julien greeted with concealed relief, letting the great phenomenal man into his house.Cicero flung the script in his face."Still needs a lot of work." He grunted, his eyes moving distastefully around the home.Julien smiled nevertheless. Cicero would never visit just to tell him his script needed extra attention."You like it?" He asked as they moved further into the home."It's unfinished." Cicero snapped, sitting carefully on a beige coloured couch, "how dare you send me an unfinished script?"Cicero's already aging face was twisted in a menacing intimidating frown. Julien scratched his head, sitting across from him, feeling slightly intimidated."I'm sorry, I just wanted you to see a bit of it and decide if you want to be involved."Cicero glared at him then snorted, rising."When you have the complete script, call me.""What? Wait." Julien quickly rose and followed after the man who was almost at the door. What quick steps."The script can't be finished anytime soon."
