I woke up alone in the car and looked around in confusion.
I vaguely remember Jacob saying something about going to the bathroom but shouldn't they be back by now? How long has it been anyway?
I should go check on them, I thought and stepped out of the truck. Jacob left the truck on so I wouldn't be hot, I guess. I appreciated the gesture, but I still needed to go find them. We had to hit the road soon if we wanted to make it there soon.
I went inside the hotel and looked around.
"Can I help you, miss?" the front desk agent asked.
"Have you seen two guys walking in here looking for a restroom?" I asked. "One was wearing a green shirt and the other had jeans and a white t-shirt?"
The agent nodded. "They went to the restroom, but it's been a few minutes. Maybe you should check on them," she said and chuckled.

ALISON I was disappointed when Michael's mother said I couldn't sleep in his bedroom. I was looking forward to spending some alone time with him, but now I was out here bunking with Melody while he was stuck with my brother. Maybe I will sneak into his room tonight, I thought.
