Hayden-

I couldn’t bring myself to speak. The answer screamed inside my head, but it wouldn’t come out of my mouth. I didn’t know if I was in shock or what. I did know that Lexus was the last person I wanted to have any relation with.

“Hayden?” Dominic’s tone was softer than usual.

Snapping out of my trance, I blinked a few times to focus on Dominic. “Why are you asking me what I want to do?”

“Because he is your cousin.”

“That doesn’t make any difference. Lexus needs to face the consequences of his actions.” Looking at the information on his computer, I felt sick to my stomach.

“What is wrong?” Dominic asked.

“I just can’t believe I am related to someone that could do something like that.” I reached for the mouse and closed out of the files. “I can’t look at it anymore.”

“Do you want to contact the lawyers?”

“I don’t know.” I looked at the box sitting on the desk with the business cards inside. “I don’t think I can accept this part of my family.” I sighed.
