BRIDGETTE’S POV:

Emily and I were lead away from the great room, down the corridor and back to the infirmary that I had been kept in since my arrival here. Neither of us said a word, and while we were entering the hospital room, the doctor and nurse came running out of the room like their tails had been set ablaze. I was beyond exhausted and could have cared less what anyone else was doing at this point.

I allowed Emily to help me over to my bed and I slowly crawled into it. I simply wanted to lay down. The events that had transpired downstairs had taken every ounce of energy I had.
