The next day of the wedding, Rita feigned illness. She couldn't being herself to attend a wedding that wasn't of benefit to her.

"Oh come, you want to tell me you're sick?", Edmundo said, pacing about.

"Edmundo, illness has no season. It could come anytime it so desires", she said, coughing for added effect.

"I see. Get some drugs from the kitchen. I'm going", he said, slamming the door behind him.

Rita sighed, rising up from her bed. So much for being his fiancee. She made her way to the bathroom, using it as quick as possible.

After the wedding yesterday, Rita decided to search Edmundo's room. She had a feeling that she would get one or two things concerning his recent attitude these past few days. When she was done, she made her way to his room, opening it with the spare key card she got from the table in her room. Before going to his room, she locked the main doors tightly incase Edmundo decided to come back earlier than expected.

    In all of her years of driving, Rita had never drove as recklessly as she did now. When Rita heard the news, she flew out of her office. Even the security men had a hard time tailing her with the way she drove like a banshee.All of Rita's mind was focused on getting to Senator Brabra's house on time.
