Cristiano

“Tesoro…” I muttered weakly, holding Ivan’s hand. The doctor walked in, casting me a judgmental glance as he took my appearance. My body was covered in blood and I didn’t care much for the consequences. Police? They couldn’t hurt a strand of my hair.

“Please step aside," he said in an irritated tone, adjusting his coat. I raised my head, cracking my neck in his direction. He swallowed in fear as I shot him a cold stare, sealing his lips.

“Why isn’t he waking up yet?” I demanded in a seriousness, leaning into the seat. A week has gone by and he wasn’t improving. His body remained still and his skin was getting colder by each passing second. With what transpired today, I wanted nothing more than to have him in my arms. He was a drug that I couldn’t function without.

“Because none of you are helpful to him.” He blurted out. I arched a brow, crossing my arms and staring into his eyes. The nerve he had to utter such words. Lucky for him, I wasn’t in the mood to take more bloo

Luca Staying with Elio for days changed my perception of him. He was softer than I expected and wasn’t such an arrogant bastard when he didn’t open his mouth. My mother had been ringing my phone countless times for days now, and I never bothered to take her calls. She could go to hell for all I care. My father? He acted unbothered by my absence; however, he set up a search for me. Thanks to him, my face was covered on every wall of Milan. “Luca?” I jumped, feeling a hand on my shoulder. Laughter followed my reaction, and I glared at the culprit none other than Bianca, Luca’s older sister. This was the first time our daughter's paths crossed, and I couldn’t help but wonder what she wanted from me. “What do you want from me?” I blurted out, adjusting uncomfortably in my seat as she pulled out a piece of paper from her sleeves. Drugs. She was an addict. “Want one?” She stood with her arms stretched out. I narrowed my eyes, shaking my head in amusement. It was barely noon and she’s hi

  • His Little Obsession   Chapter 104

Ivan Lights. The bright lights on the ceiling blinded my vision as I parted my eyes. A low sound left my mouth, slightly shutting my eyes. “Ivan?” A shriek echoed in my ear, causing me to flinch in shock. I cracked my neck with difficulty, my face creased with confusion as I stared into the excited eyes of Matilda Vito. She was the last person I thought of seeing on waking up. “He’s awake!” she announced and people soon crowded me. Carlos held my hand, guilt evident in his features as my eyes met his. I offered him a reassuring smile, rubbing my fingers on his palm. Questions were thrown at me, mostly to determine if I felt any discomfort. Since when were they considered about my welfare? Most especially Cristiano’s father. Why was he even here in the first place? The man hated my guts and would do anything to get me out of his way. What changed? My near-death experience? Or maybe Tiano managed to change his mind about our relationship? I doubt the bastard has it in him to hold a

Cristiano Another week has passed by and nothing has changed about Ivan’s condition. I wanted to blame the doctor for what was happening, but deep down I knew he had nothing to do with Ivan’s coma. ‘What if he never wakes up?’ The question continuously played in my head, taunting my mind. I couldn’t sleep anymore, and the blood thirst was no longer there. I spent my days in the hospital and hardly came home. If he doesn’t wake up, Carlos will suffer the same fate. The only problem? He escaped. Apparently, my father released him and the traitor Lorenzo. They were lucky to have my father on their side. Their luck better keep shining because the second my eyes set on them both, death would be a safe choice compared to what I would do to them both. “Boss.” One of my men from the three left called, and I nodded for him to proceed. “You have a meeting with the council in ten minutes.” He announced. I sighed, my hands raking my hair in frustration. They have been asking for me, but I wa

Luca“Baby?” I felt a tug on my arm, stirring me from my sleep. Only Elio was bold enough to call me pet names even after telling him off. He was like a stubborn mutt who wouldn’t go away no matter how much you tried. “Can you hear me?” I felt his warm hands on my face, his breath fanning mine. I hissed in annoyance, parting my eyes. His face was barely an inch away from mine with the tip of our noses touching each other as I tried to push him off. He laughed, “You’re so red.” He teased, but I didn’t find his joke funny. I was at his home because I wanted to stay away from mine and I thought for a second, I needed him. I couldn’t believe I let his words get into my head. “Back off, Elio.” I snapped, my eyes red in anger. I was disappointed in myself. Was I that forgiving? He may have been my comfort zone in the past, but not anymore. He was nothing more than an arrogant fool who wasn’t remorseful for his actions. The smile faded on his face, “Why so hostile?” He asked stupidly. I

Carlos“Are you sure he’s breathing?” Voices echoed in the background, and a hum followed the question. Where was I and who were the unfamiliar, yet familiar voices I heard? “Why isn’t he waking up then?” The voice from earlier snapped and I felt a tug on my wrist. I groaned, my eyes parting up to meet the assaulter who was none other than my uncle, Jorge Hernandez. “You’re finally up!” He beamed, slapping a hand on my shoulder with a smile spread on his face. I scrunched my nose, my eyes roaming across the room, trying to recognize my environment. Last I remembered, I passed out in that bastard’s house. How did I end up in Ivan’s house, and why was my uncle acting excited to have me back? Why was Lorenzo here? What in the world was going on? “I was starting to worry that you weren’t going to make it.” Ivan’s stepmother chirped in, emerging into the room. My eyes dimmed with confusion, my eyes narrowed in suspicion at the smiles on their faces. My uncle getting worried was surpris

  • His Little Obsession   Chapter 100

Elio “How’s he doing?” I asked eagerly, grabbing my friend, Alessandro by the wrist. His eyes linger on my grip before slowly meeting my eyes with a hint of anger. “Let go first.” He shook my arms off, adjusting the sleeves of his shirt. I shot him an ugly stare, letting out a deep breath as I waited for his response. “He’s fine.” He answered quietly, his eyes roaming in the room filled with people—mostly my family and Luca’s friend from a rival family, Neo. I exhaled with relief, my shoulder relaxing a little at his response. “May I take my leave now or do you plan to lock me in your home until your boyfriend’s awake?” Alessandro asked sarcastically, and I hissed in annoyance, waving my hands in dismissal. He took advantage of our friendship to drop sassy remarks that weren’t needed. He knew my situation with Luca, and never ceased to comment on our broken relationship every minute we were together. “What happened to him?” I asked, my fingers tracing the corners of his face. I h
