Mica POV

I watched angrily as Penny and Max walked away

The frown on my face deepened the more

"You said Max will follow me!"I yelled at James

"Follow you ?....and why should he?"he replied with a light scoff

"Cause am his m_"

"Oh keep quite Mica!"he drawled

"You except him to follow just like that?...you f***king left him for 26 good years!... "he touched his forehead tiredly

I lowered my face to the ground

He is right...what was I thinking

I even approached them rudely...a tear escaped my eyes

"Face the fact Mica...you're a terrible mother"

"Shut the hell up!"I thundered

"Don't forget I can ruin you within a few hours...so you better mind the way you speak to me"I stated coldy with my index finger pointed at him

He scoffed loudly and left me standing In the amusement park

I looked around lazily and went home

I parked my car in the garage and cat walked into my bedroom

I slumped on my bed and looked at the ceiling

What have you done Mica?....what was I thinking that'll he'll accept me Immediately?

I wouldn't blame him ...after abandoning him for so many years

And to think I spoke so rudely to him I should be apologising

Gosh!

I exhaled loudly forcing myself to get up

I walked into the bathroom to have a long shower

 Max POV

"So doctor is she okay?"I asked the doctor as he came out of Penny's room

"She's fine for now...tell me something boy has she ever been a victim of heart break?"he asked adjusting his tie

"I really don't sir"I replied honestly

He stroked his chin and gave out a light smile

"Don't worry kid...she'll be fine"he patted my shoulder and left

After Penny blackout I called the doctor immediately

I wonder what's wrong with her?...the doctor said she's suffering from depression

I wanna help her but she's too secretive not to talk she's stubborn

I opened the door to her room slowly to prevent making nosie

I found her awake staring at the ceiling

I sat near her on the bed....I just love looking into her beautiful but pale face

"Max why didn't you go with your mom?"she asked after a moment of slience

Why didn't I go with her?..I smiled inwardly and said

"How could I Penny?"I replied

"She left me for 26 years now...and came back without feeling remoseful ...tch!"

"But she came back right?"Penny asked

"She came back for you that's something to write home about"she faced me with a smile on her face

She's right but..

"Nothing can come in between a son and his mother Max.. nothing"

"Max you can go if you want...am not stopping you"

"I know am bossy and you really want to leave a_"

"Don't say that Penny...I love your bossiness"I interupted calmly

Her cheeks went red instantly...she's blushing

I laughed lightly seeing her face...she looks so cute

"Let me go make lunch"

"No...I wanna make lunch today"she got up from the bed

What!?

"No Penny... you need res_"

"Cut the crap Max...am fine"she replied and walked to the exit

Make lunch...does she even know how to cook?

I walked to the the kitchen and found her staring at the ingredients

"Don't worry Max go to your room once am done you can come"she said with a wink

I hesitanted for a while before going to my room

3 hours later....

I stretched myself on the bed feeling refreshed and engerized

I looked around the room remembering Penny

I jumped out of Penny and rushed downstairs only to smell something buring

I rushed to the kitchen only to see it on fire!
