"I know and that's why to avoid any problems in the future I transferred her from this company to the other one. She will be working there as a manager."

"What? You can't do that Dad. I requested her to do this job. Its really insulting."

"No its not. She would forget everything after getting higher salary and a flexible job."

"I can't believe you did this Dad. You seriously believe all that. You believe her??"

"It doesn't matter what I think. I just want to sort this issue between you two once and for all. ""I have a lot of work load and in these conditions you did this to me. "

I didn't know what to say. He did wrong but I can't disrespect his decision and thankfully he didn't fired her I might have gone crazy for that.

"Well Shruti had brought a solution for this. A really close friend of her had just shifted from abroad to our city. She had completed all the education and had a great work experience. Shruti personally recommend her and trusted her so I preferred a meeting with her. "

He looked at the watch.

"She would be here in any second."

Meanwhile I got a call from reception about a girl for interview.

I gave the permission and after sometime someone knocked the door I almost had a mini heart attack when I saw Yukti entering the room holding a file and was wearing a formal outfit.

Well I got so nervous I didn't know how to react. I was shocked and was wondering seeing her. Before I said anything Dad spoke.

"She is Yukti. Shruti's best friend. She has just shifted here in town and was looking for a job and she is just perfect for the job."

"What! No. "

I said abruptly I couldn't think of any else. How could I appoint her. I just had one night stand with her and I can't work with her not at all. I knew it all happened because of a mistake and I can't cheat on Shruti. Even I was thinking of telling her the truth after apologizing and it would be her choice to forgive me. But now how would I explain this to her ? I mean Dad was involved in all that too.

Dad went out and I was still thinking about all that but I had no option. I decided to talk to Yukti to let go of everything. I mean I didn't want anything complicated. Next month was my birthday and a really big day for Me. Dad would make me the CEO officially.

I had learnt everything from him and I have to convince Shruti for marriage before that. Dad's only condition was my marriage.

He wanted me to settle down and become a more responsible person. I always wanted to make him proud. I really love my family and I am really obedient son.

Meanwhile I got call from Yukti she was sounding happy.

"Hey sweet Heart! I know you won't say No. i love you. I am coming to meet you."

"Anything for you love."

At least she was happy. I was busy in my work when I was informed about her. I called her in and Yukti also entered with her. Shruti got closer and hugged me tightly.

"I am sorry for fighting with you last night. Sorry."

"Its okay. Let's bygones be bygones."

I kissed her cheeks and I looked at Yukti she wasn't looking at us. She was busy on her phone and after that Shruti introduced her to me informally.

"Remember I told you about my childhood best friend Yukti. She went abroad for completing her studies and is finally back. And now she is all yours."

She laughed at that but it wasn't a joke for us. I swear if she knew that We slept together last night she would kill both of us. . I shook hand with her and a formal smile appeared on her face.

"Okay nice to meet you yukti."

"Same here sir."

I can't tell him that I let him down.

"Why? What's the problem? You are missing Rashmi your so called best friend? "

Shruti started again.

"Please shruti, don't start again. We have discussed this. Please. I can't appoint anyone all of a sudden."

"You have appointed your best friend and I didn't say anything now you have to respect my decision. You were begging for a chance last night. I am giving you the chance to sort this issue. Choice is all yours."

She slid the file of Yukti towards me and got up.

"I will be waiting for your decision. Let's go yukti. We are getting late."

I looked up in Shruti's eyes and she was still looking mad then I looked at yukti and She wasn't even looking in my eyes. I wanted to talk to her about all that. I mean why didn't she tell me about Shruti and all that?

I was seriously nervous and worried. I was thinking all that and they both left. Dad then spoke.

"I couldn't believe you did this Abhi. I mean Rashmi? You always told me that she is your best friend."

" Dad please you know she is creating a scene. She never liked her being so close to me. She just got a chance and and she spoiled my friendship and I am shocked that you believed her."

"No I don't but I can understand. She is possessive and women are like that. They can't see their man getting close to anyone. Its their nature. I told you to deal her carefully."

"Dad I tried hard. But still she isn't happy with me."

"Remember my condition? You have to marry till Your birthday and as a Gift I will give you this company. You will be the New CEO."

"I know Dad. I know I am trying. But why yukti? I can appoint anyone else!"

"Its good to appoint her. See Shruti trust her and won't bother you for that."

"But Dad. I can't appoint her!"

"Why? She is more qualified and experienced than Rashmi and she is perfect for this job. Come on you ca do that at least. Can't you?"

I had nothing else to say. I couldn't convince him I knew.
