Chapter 6

I smiled widely, my arms opened wide as I ran to Oden who was just stepping into the room. I threw my arms around him as I happily squealed and celebrated his return from work. He accepted the energetic hug, already used to how I acted every time that he came home from work.

I breathed in his familiar scent that brought so much warmth and comfort. He smelled like heaven- he smelled like home. I never wanted him to ever let me go. I enjoyed it too much when he held me in his thick muscular arms.

I pulled away from his neck so that I could look into his eyes, "welcome home, Oden," I said in a whisper as I beamed up at him.
