Mag-log in~Ivy
"No, no, Lysander.... you can't do this! Please, Xander" I said, shaking my head slowly, my voice timid as usual. I have to do everything in my power to stop Lysander from doing this, otherwise I lose my baby. Lysander walked close to me and loosened the rope he used to tie me up. While he was doing this, his thick voice said "Be an obedient girl and get this transfusion done, only then will I consider sparing your life, Ivy!" He loosened the rope and stepped back from me. Still not heading on with this plan, I stood up angrily. Gazing at Mr Yaren, I took my attention to Lysander's face. Walking closer to him, I am more than determined to convince him not to do this no matter how he'd eventually scold me. "Mr Yaren, take her away!" Lysander said, Mr Yaren hesitant at first. Immediately Mr Yaren wanted to touch me, so I raised my left hand- implying to him not to touch me. Then I turned to Lysander "You don't want to believe that Cameil is lying? At least you can believe our family doctor when she says that I should back out from any surgical activities..." I searched my pockets as I was wearing trousers, looking for my phone. Bringing out my phone, I attempted to call Mr Karen but Lysander dragged the phone from my hand instantly! I yelped in fear before looking up at him. "I said I'll spare you if you transfuse your blood to Cameil, yet, you're here claiming rights!" Lysander yelled, his voice filled with anger. "I am sorry Lysander but I can't do this. Not for Cameil, at least not for her fake unborn child..." "I am asking you to do this and you have no option but to respect whatever I say!" "I'm Pregnant, Lysander! I am three weeks pregnant with your child. The doctor advised me to stay away from transfusion, doing this is a way of endangering my child's life!" My voice echoed in the silent scene, Lysander staring at me with all his eyes puffed out. He wouldn't stop staring at me, finding it difficult to believe me. I don't know what moved me into telling Lysander the whole truth but I had to do this for him and our unborn child. "I have every proof to show that I am three weeks pregnant for you, Xander..." I added, my voice seizing to stop stammering. Thankfully, I had the pregnancy report with me moments ago, so I just brought it out from my pocket and handed it over to Lysander who was still silent. "Have a look at them, Xander! I am pregnant indeed!" I said, an unwavering smile swimming on my face As I handed Lysander the pregnancy report, his face transformed into a mask of fury. His eyes, once bright and warm, turned into two blazing embers, burning with intense anger. As I handed Lysander the pregnancy report, his face transformed into a mask of fury. The skin on his forehead creased into deep furrows, and his jaw clenched so tightly that the muscles in his face seemed to quiver with rage. "What could be wrong?" I raised from myself but the next thing that happened, Lysander raised the paper to my face. "You're pregnant, huh?" He started tearing the pregnancy report right before my eyes. My heart melted into pieces seeing how enraged Lysander was while tearing the paper, I couldn't even speak. In this marriage, Lysander makes the action. I listen and watch without judging. "Your pregnancy doesn't freak me! In fact, I am only happy because once this transfusion is carried out, you'll lose that BASTARD inside you!" Lysander directed, burning my heart into ashes. I understand that he doesn't love me but he should have shown some sympathy for our unborn child. This is the least I could do. Now that this Pregnancy didn't change anything, I'll have to do something myself. "Chris! Take her to the ward!.... Mr Yaren, you know what to do next" Lysander's voice echoed and his arm man gripped me. "No, Lysander, please don't do this to me! Please don't hurt our unborn child... This baby is ours, please stop this!" I wish I could change Lysander's mind but he wasn't even moved- his face fixed on me with his hands in his pocket while Chris took me out of the scene. ******* 3:46 PM I opened my eyes to the blurry saturation. Where am I? I touched my belly and my unborn son flashed to my mind. I jumped up from the bed I was lying and someone approached me immediately, trying to cool me down. Her face was blurry and I couldn't tell who she was. I don't even want to know, what I want to know is about my precious little boy! Where is he? "Where am I?" I said, my voice echoing in the room, which somewhat seemed like a hospital ward. "Calm down, Mrs Steel! You're here with me in the hospital..." The lady responded but I ignored her. Everything happened so fast! The last thing I remembered was Mr Yaren injecting me so I could sleep and I am here in Mrs Karen's office. Everything became clear and I wasted no time in grabbing Mrs Karen's clothes. "Doc, please my baby! Please check if he's okay. I just had a transfer..." I halted after seeing the Doctor's face. She wasn't happy, her face was saddened as if something wrong happened. "Is everything okay, Doc?" I inquired, slowly getting over curious. Mrs Karen wouldn't say a word to me, making my emotions so high and my tension increasing so bad. "I hate cliffhangers, Mrs Karen! What happened?" "I am sorry..." She stammered and handed me some documents. "We lost the baby! You had a deep blood transfusion and lost almost all the blood in your body. As a result of this, you had a miscarriage... I'm even sorry to let you know that you can't even bear a child again, Forgive me, Mrs Steel!"Hi, my beautiful readers, Thank you for reading this book up to chapter Five! ~Ivy Ethan and I hurried straight to the hospital. When we arrived, Lysander was no longer in his room. “Where is he, Doctor?” I asked anxiously. The doctor replied, “The patient was diagnosed with a stroke. He can’t walk or move properly. He’s being transferred to a larger hospital in the UK. I’m sure he’ll be okay.” Ethan pressed further. “Where is he now, Doc?” “The patient should be at the airport. His flight is scheduled to leave by 3 PM. He’s been waiting for someone named Ivy, but he had to leave—he couldn’t risk missing his flight.” I barely listened to the rest before checking the time. 2:35 PM. The drive to the airport would take nearly thirty minutes. I didn’t waste a second—I had to see him one last time, to show him my gratitude for taking the bullet for me. Ethan and I sped off, determined to catch him before he left the country. Luck was on our side; we arrived just as Lysander was about to board the plane. “Xander!” I called, my voice carrying across the bust
~IvyThey say love is sweet. They say love is bitter. They say love is destructive. But I believe love is both life and death—it all depends on how you embrace it.Because love found me, and love saved me. Without love, I wouldn’t be the person I am today.Today marks two weeks since Cameil was buried and two weeks since Lysander fell into a coma. He didn’t die; he was still alive. And today, for the first time in a long while, I get to be happy.Today, I am marrying the love of my life—Ethan Morale. We’ve been through so much together, and now, standing here, I know we will face everything as one.Ethan’s hand gripped mine as we stood before the altar.“Miss Ivy Rebecca Moore,” the priest began, “do you accept Ethan Alexander Morale as the love of your life, to stay strong through thick and thin, and to be together until death do you part?”I smiled at Ethan and nodded. “Yes, I do.”Then it was his turn. “Mr. Ethan Alexander Morale, do you accept Miss Ivy Rebecca Moore as the love of
{Cameil}I couldn’t believe what I had done. I couldn’t believe I had shot him—my Lysander, my everything. No…I screamed, a raw, jagged sound that echoed in the room. My eyes caught Ivy, squatting at Lysander’s side, panic etched across her face.“Are you okay? Don’t close your eyes, Lysander! Don’t close your eyes!” she pleaded, her voice trembling. But I couldn’t hear her anymore. All I could feel was rage, all-consuming and burning.“This is all your fault, Ivy! You deserve to die! You deserve to die!” I shouted, my breath shaky but my hands steady, gripping the gun with lethal intent.I wanted one thing now: to make it crystal clear to everyone, to prove I would not be the loser in this. Lysander lay on the floor—I didn’t know if he was alive or dead—but that didn’t matter. My focus was clear. I had to finish what I started: Ivy had to die.I forced myself to stand tall, positioning the gun directly at her.“You started all of this, Ivy. You deserve more than just a bullet. You h
{Cameil}Seeing Asmita collapse to the floor, blood spilling from her mouth, I felt a twisted sense of satisfaction—but it wasn’t enough. The person I truly wanted dead was Ivy.When I pulled the trigger, Asmita had rushed forward in front of her, taking the bullet meant for Ivy. She fell lifelessly to the floor.A hush fell over everyone. Fear froze them in place, but I hadn’t achieved what I wanted. Ivy’s life was still in front of me, mocking me.I reloaded, my hands steady despite the chaos around me, and aimed at Ivy.“I already made it clear to you before, Ivy,” I hissed, my voice low and deadly. “If I am to go down, then you are going down along with me. You must DIE! And I don’t give a fuck how it happens!”I was about to pull the trigger when Ethan’s voice cut sharply through my focus.“You are running mad, Cameil. Just drop the damn gun, right now!”In a flash of anger, I swung the gun from Ivy and pointed it at him instead.“Don’t annoy me, Lysander! One more step and you w
{Cameil} My head snapped up the moment I heard Asmita’s words.Even Lysander’s eyes widened in shock, his entire face tightening with fury. Before I could make sense of anything, he stormed toward me and grabbed me by the neck.“You heard her right?!” he yelled, his voice trembling with rage. “So you killed Granny because she found out we were having an affair? You actually killed her—after she called that meeting and begged us to stop? You killed my grandmother just because she found out about us?!”I struggled to breathe as his grip tightened, but I finally managed to push his hands away and shouted back, my voice breaking with anger.“Yes, Lysander! Yes! I killed your Granny months ago—and I don’t regret it. I will never regret killing her!”Lysander stumbled back, his chest heaving, eyes glistening with disbelief. His lips parted, but no words came out.At that moment, I didn’t care anymore. The truth—or what they thought was the truth—was out, and I was done hiding behind fear.
{Cameil}My heart pounded so loudly I could hear it echoing in my ears. What on earth was happening? That video—It had recorded everything. Every single word Asmita and I had said earlier about Old Mrs. Sylvie.Everything.And the worst part? It captured my voice clearly saying, “I KILLED OLD MRS. SYLVIE!”How did Ivy manage to get this video? How could she have recorded everything we said? That question kept tearing through my mind just as Lysander suddenly grabbed my hand.“What on earth is that video, Cameil? What video is that?” he demanded, his grip tightening. My mouth parted, but no words came out. The room seemed to close in around me.Lysander’s eyes burned with fury, his face flushed red-hot with emotion. I could feel the heat radiating from him—he loved his grandmother deeply. But how was I supposed to escape this, especially with the so-called evidence staring everyone in the face?“I asked you a question, Cameil,” he repeated, his voice sharp enough to cut through air. “
