Hi, everyone!
Recently, I passed through you all comment and I must say that I am happy that you have totally poured out your mind on this book. I am seeing your comments and I am also responding to them as well. However, some comments dragged my attention and I thought of writing this Note. In some chapters, a few people bothered about being confused and one of them I would love to clear up is QUESTION: How many years were Lysander and Ivy married? ANSWER: Lysander and Ivy were married for FIVE years and not THREE years. I apologize if some chapters said otherwise. It has been edited. Another question was: —Cameil and Ivy were friends for ten Years. How come Cameil was never aware of the fact that Ivy is the daughter of a billionaire? ANSWER: Cameil and Ivy were friends for ten Years, Yes. But Ivy was so personal with her life. When Cameil asked about her family, she mentioned that she doesn't want to talk about them because they had neglected her feelings. Also, Cameil was aware that Ivy suffered domestic assault in Augustine's hands. Ivy had told her this and also explained that it was the reason she ran away from home. But never mentioned anything about her identity to her. If you have further questions in your mind, don't hesitate to comment it down. I promise to make a free chapter where all your questions will be answered. Please check out my new book if you haven't done so. It is very interesting and I believe you will enjoy it! BOOK TITLE: Rejected But Claimed By The Hybrid Alpha. You won't regret reading it! Thank you for giving me your time. Updates resume ASAP Yours Fictionally, Chin Nua~ IvyWith my mind still spinning from unanswered questions, I gripped the earring tightly and stepped out of the building.I wished Raphael's soul would finally rest in peace. After all the torment he endured, did he really have to die like that—so suddenly, so unfairly?I felt sorry for him. I had other plans for Raphael. I thought that once he finally revealed who sent him to keep the truth buried, I’d be able to act. I’d be able to fix things. But now, that hope was gone. That night dragged on, haunted by a thousand racing thoughts—each one a what-if.What if Cameil had someone tailing me?What if she’d already sent someone after Raphael’s family? What if she had other plans for him all along? Sinister ones?I couldn’t shake any of it from my mind, no matter how hard I tried.Deep down, I knew—Cameil had a hand in this. One way or another, she was involved in that crime.****The next morning, the servants had already cleaned the room and laid out breakfast on the dining table.“D
~Ivy “Raph.. Raphael!” I said coldly. My voice wasn't even audible because I just watched the only link connecting to Old Mrs Sylvie's death die right before my own very eyes. I turned back quickly to catch a glimpse of who the person was but there was no body there. The exit part was all cleared. NOBODY was there. My men ran there to confirm but they couldn't see anybody. As Raphael's body drained with blood, Rach approached me. “Stop all these Ivy, you are not the killer. You didn't kill Raphael, okay?” She said to me, holding me firmly. I sniffled, pointing at him. “But I almost killed him! I almost killed someone today because of my thirst for vengeance. What if I had killed him, Rach? What if I had…” Rach shut my mouth with her hand. “What are you saying, Ivy?” She yelled. “Don't say such things with your mouth. Is this the time to act smart and not to cry? Raphael's death could be the link we need to get new evidence against that Cameil. Because I'm a hundred per c
~Ivy “Ivy?” Rach asked, eyes bulging out. “You mean Cameil was the person who took the autopsy results from you? But why will Cameil take the autopsy? Could it be that she has…” Rach paused, moving her hand to cover her mouth. I already knew what she was about to say so I nodded. “That's exactly my thoughts, Rach. Why exactly did Cameil steal the autopsy results from me? I think the whole thing is making sense now!” “I mean, starting from seeing her in the pathological department. To her lie that she came for a pregnancy test. Everything now makes sense, Rach! Cameil has ulterior motives against that result. And my instincts warned me about this!” Rach nodded in agreement. She leaned closer, her voice low. “So, what do we do now, Ivy? We need to track down what reason Cameil has for stealing the autopsy results. I mean we should connect all the dots properly. It could be that she doesn't want us to learn the truth. Either she is protecting someone or she is protecting herself!”
~IvyThe hospital encounter was just the beginning of Cameil's downfall. She should learn by now that I am not in any way to be messed by her. I really felt bad when she told me that her baby was dying. I sincerely forgot that she was pregnant. The child mustn't suffer for what the mother did. That was what I had in mind. Which was the reason I stopped hitting her belly and went to her head. She seemed to have forgotten that I loved and grew up in the street. I am strong enough to fight, especially with devils like her!And what happened after Lysander drove her out? I also drove Lysander away from the ward. He thought he could come and play the victim card by telling me not to listen to what Cameil said.I askes him just one question— “Do you love Cameil?”His response was sharp. “No. I don't love Cameil. You also know that I don't love her”Then, I asked him the last question. “But you are getting married to her?” He was quiet at first. He never wanted to say anything. He didn't k
{Cameil}Hearing Lysander say this, my heart shifted. It felt as though someone was hitting me on the head. I couldn't process anything, just a crumbling heart scattering for love.Ivy sat there swinging in the victory that Lysander took her side. Instead of being angry, she grinned happily.“Now that you have gotten the attention which you seek, can you go on and leave already?” Lysander added, eyes locked on mine.I shrugged, scoffing bitterly. “I should leave?” I inquired, blinking out my tears. “Lysander you are telling me to leave this ward instead just because of her? Let me remind you, Lysander. I am carrying your child. And this woman here tried to kill my child. Your child! Instead of confronting her, you are sending me out?” Ivy got on her feet instantly, ceasing the smile on her face. “You know what, Cameil! You should stop blinking out those crocodile tears because they don't fit you!” She stepped closer, behind Lysander. “You started all these. I was having a peaceful s
{Cameil}Ivy stopped kicking my stomach. I heaved a heavy sigh after this happened. At least, my child was in safe hands. My fake cry had deceived Ivy.She must have fallen for the cry of her sparing my child. I knew how soft Ivy was and no matter how hard she may try to seem on the outside, I know that' she is soft-hearted. This was why I had no option but to use my pregnancy as an excuse to get her to stop hitting me.Everywhere was suddenly silent. I was of course baffled by that because Ivy was supposed to be panting. BUT she wasn't.Well, I ignored that, forced by heavy eyelids opened and made an attempt to get yo when Ivy immediately got on my body and dragged my hair.“You thought you could use your baby to stop me from beating you up?” She roared, dragging my hair instantly.“What are you doing, Ivy?” I yelled, my voice inaudible.“Getting back at you, Cameil!” She responded, still pulling my hair tightly. “I can't forget your stupid behaviour which you displayed a few minute
