Hillary Pov

I opened my eyes and realised that it was in the evening; my supposed husband was nowhere to be seen, and relief washed over me.

He can't fool me. My attention shifted to the storybook beside me, and I reluctantly took it. My head suddenly spun, and I heard a loud ringing. I dropped the book and winced in pain as I clutched my head.

Weird images started appearing in my head. In the images, I was holding a man in almost all of them. I fell from my bed and crawled on the floor.
