LOGIN3RD POINT OF VIEW~ By evening at 5 pm, most of the staff had already started packing up and leaving their offices. The usual noise around the floor gradually reduced, replaced by a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere that came with the end of the workday. Aurelia glanced at the time on her screen before saving her work and shutting her laptop. She stretched her fingers slightly, then reached for her bag and began to pack up the remaining files on her desk. It had been a long day, but at least she had managed to stay focused. She stood up, adjusting her bag on her shoulder, and walked toward the door. Just as she reached it, her phone buzzed inside her bag. She paused, reaching in to pull it out. There were two messages one from Seth and one from Zane. Aurelia frowned slightly as she opened them. Seth: Dinner tonight. I’ll pick you up. Zane: Dinner? If you’re not too tired. For a few seconds, she just stared at the screen, her thoughts not immediately settling on a clear answer.
3RD POINT OF VIEW~Knock knock…A knock came at Aurelia’s office door, but she was so engrossed in her work that she didn’t notice.“Aurelia!” Teresa’s voice rang out a little louder this time, catching her attention immediately.“Oh my… Teresa, you startled me,” Aurelia said, holding her chest with a small laugh.“Well, you can’t blame me,” Teresa replied, her tone teasing. “I knocked more than twice, and you still didn’t hear me. I needed to take desperate measures, you know,” she added, smiling sarcastically.Aurelia chuckled softly, feeling a little lighter than she had all morning.“I’m sorry… just wanted to complete this task before lunch,” she explained.“Hmm… that’s true,” Teresa said, her voice softening, care dripping through every word. “But how are you feeling now?”“I’m better,” Aurelia replied, keeping it brief but sincere.“Speaking of lunch,” Teresa began again, still smiling, “I came to take you out for lunch.”“Oh…” Aurelia hesitated. “Umm, I don’t think that would b
The next morning, Aurelia wakes up with the memory of the previous night still sitting heavily in her mind. It doesn’t take long for everything to come back clearly, the noise, the fear, the man being caught, and the way everything unfolded after that. She turns slightly in bed, her eyes moving around the room before settling on the empty space.Seth isn’t there. For a moment, she just lies still, staring ahead, then she exhales quietly and pushes herself up.It is already 7:30.Despite everything that happened, she doesn’t allow herself to stay in bed any longer. She had already promised herself that she was going back to work today..She had missed enough days already, and staying home again would only make things worse. People would start asking questions, and she didn’t want that kind of attention. She gets out of bed and heads straight to the bathroom. The routine helps a little the shower, the quiet, the steady movement of doing something normal again. It gives her enough space t
3RD POINT OF VIEW♡The man remains inside the car for a while longer, watching the estate gate and the movement of the guards. The increased security does not stop him, If anything it only makes him more careful. After a few more minutes, he starts the engine again, slowly driving past the estate instead of stopping directly in front of it. He studies the surroundings, checking for blind spots watching how the guards move and how often they rotate. Then he drives off.Not far from the estate, he parks again, this time further down the road where his car would not easily draw attention..he turns off the engine and sits quietly for a moment before stepping out.He moves on foot, keeping to the darker parts of the street, avoiding the main gate entirely. His path is familiar, like he has already studied it before.Back inside the estate, the guards continue their patrol, unaware that he has already found a way close by Inside the house, Aurelia has just gone back upstairs. Seth remains
3RD POINT OF VIEW~Seth steps out of Regina’s place without saying anything else, the door closing behind him as he walks straight to his car. His movements are quicker than usual, like he has already made up his mind and doesn’t want to sit there long enough to rethink it.Inside, Regina remains where she is, her expression calm at first, but the moment the door shuts, the softness drops. She leans back slowly, her fingers tightening against the armrest as she stares ahead.“He’s going back,” she mutters under her breath. Her assistant, who had been standing quietly by the side, steps forward slightly. “Should I call him back?”Regina shakes her head once. “No need.”She reaches for her phone instead, unlocking it quickly, her eyes move across the screen before stopping at a contact. She doesn’t hesitate.“Where are you?” she asks the moment the call connects, her voice low and sharp. There is a brief response on the other end.“I don’t care,” Regina snaps. “You had one job yesterday
3RD POINT OF VIEWRing ring…Aurelia’s phone rang out sharply, the sudden sound cutting through the quiet room and sending a brief jolt of discomfort through her ears. She stirred almost immediately, her brows tightening as she forced her eyes open. For a second, she didn’t move. Her eyes still felt heavy from the tears she had cried hours ago, her mind slow to catch up, but the ringing didn’t stop. She pushed herself up, reaching toward the bedside table with slightly unsteady hands until her fingers finally found the phone. Her eyes dropped to the screen.Teresa.That was when she remembered She hadn’t gone to work today.Aurelia hesitated briefly before answering, adjusting her posture as she brought the phone to her ear.“Aurelia, how are you?” Teresa’s voice came through quickly, a clear mix of concern and curiosity. “You didn’t come to the company today. Are you feeling alright?”Aurelia closed her eyes for a second before responding, steadying her voice.“Yes… a little,” she li
Aurelia POV~I woke up with a dull, pounding pain in my head, the kind that made it feel like my thoughts were moving too slowly for my body. Every part of me ached, as if I had run a marathon in my sleep. Yesterday’s events came rushing back the moment I opened my eyes, and with them, the heavy re
AURELIA POV♡“Who is it?” Teresa asked casually, glancing at my phone when she noticed me looking at the screen.“It’s nothing,” I replied quickly. “Just an app notification.” Even though Teresa knew me better than most people at the company, she still didn’t know about my relationship with Seth b
AURELIA POV~By the time noon approached, I was still sitting in my office, staring at my laptop screen without really seeing anything on it.My fingers hovered over the keyboard, but my mind wasn’t focused on work. It kept drifting back to yesterday. To Seth’s lies. To Regina’s smug attitude To th
