Lila's POV ~~~~~~~

I watched them try to bring Evan back to life. He was literally dying, all efforts were added from the healer and the Omega to bring him back.

"Evan!! Wake up!!" My eyebrows knitted as I shook him.

He woke up gasping for breath. I was breathing heavily, my chest felt like it was going to pop out.

I stepped back and tried to catch a breath. I felt this connection with Evan whenever I touched him with so much emotion. My fingers trembled, I folded them and focused on what was going on.

Leo walked out of the room and watched what was going on.

"Oh no, Leo I need you to get inside. " I rushed over to him

"Mom, is dad dying? Did he fight to death?" His eyes wandered around confused, it was obvious that he was searching for an answer.

"No. Papa didn't die in a fight and he wouldn't, he's just wounded and needs to be treated." I responded to him immediately.

"Like me?" He withdrew into the house.

My heart broke like it was a glass on hearing this. No one could convince me
