Bella's POV.

"W…who is there?" I forced my sharp claws out of my fingers to defend myself because I was tired of always playing the damsel in distress all the time.

The shadows dancing beneath the door paused, as though whoever was there was giving attention to me.

"I will rip out your heart if you dare come into this room." I braved myself, ready to attack.

suddenly my breathing became calmer, my heartbeat and pulse slowed down in a pleasant way, and my reality distanced itself away from me as I dazed off in yet another trance.

Not again, moon goddess, I cringed my eyes shut to try and stop it... but I was too late to try to control anything as my facial expressions relaxed with my mouth slightly opening up in the process and that's when I knew that I could not stop the inevitable… I was going back in trance and I dreaded the timing of it because for all I know there could be a dangerous rogue roaming on the other side of the door.
