The invasion.

Queen Zita's POV.

Six hours later, we arrived in Alpha Zach's territory. It was a weekday and most of his pack members were indoors… I took my group of warriors to the west side of the village, while Alpha Jacob took his warriors straight to Zach's mansion.

The warriors who accompanied me were highly skilled and trained in the art of stealth and infiltration. They made sure to carefully plan our route, avoiding detection from any potential guards or patrols. And the darkness gave us a great advantage from being detected, as we used the shadows to conceal our movements. We all wore dark clothing to blend in with our surroundings.

The moon and the stars were concealed by the night clouds in the sky and the air was still, making the environment suitable for an ambush attack.
