"Nothing, she has done nothing" I said to him.

"Yet you search for her. When I saw you summon the guards, I knew immediately it was about her. Tell me, brother, since when did you become worried about her if she has done nothing?," he asked, mimicking me.

"Okay, fine!"

"Better. I knew it was not for nothing. So, what has she done this time?." He sounded so authoritative.

"She insulted me before the guests!"

"You mean to say she rejected you before the hitters?," he asked, sounding very sarcastic.

If only I had not gone to him. He just made me look like a fool.

"I don't care what you call it, or how you see it. I just wanna know if you have seen her sniffing around. I swear, I will…"

The idiots have resurfaced from wherever without her. I didn't know if to feel relieved or angry. Whatever, Declan mustn't find out I had suddenly developed a soft spot for the very lady we both enjoyed seeing crawl and beg us for mercy.
