It's been 2 whole days since I set my eyes on lila. Two excruciatingly long days. My heart definitely felt like a part of it was missing. I had cried all through the better part of the night.

Some people had even shot me questionable glances as I passed today. It was not until I looked into the mirror in the hallways that I figured out why. I looked like a ghost. My eyes were puffy. My skin was now paler than normal which altogether made me look horrible but I didn't care. I had better things to worry about like lila and where in the moon goddess' name she was.

After the party that was held to commemorate the kingdom's new alliance, she had told me she wanted to go off and visit a friend of hers since she had the next day off. The madam had given her an off day because lila had cleaned the king's quarters so well that he actually spoke about it. He didn't thank anybody but he did glance at the maids when he mentioned it.
