Chapter 2: Pain And Rejected

BANG!!!

Before Braelyn could settle into this thought, a sudden ferce kick directed at Braelyn's body made Braelyn roll down the bed and crash on the foor like a broken doll.

"Ahhhh!' Braelyn's eyes widened, and she cried loudly in pain not knowing where to hold.

Braelyn's eyes suddenly few toward Cedric and Cedric was currently looking at her with a venomous gaze.

Cedric pointed at Braelyn in anger. "You! What have you done?" He asked when he woke up naked with her by his side.

Yesterday, Cedric had told Braelyn frmly that there would be nothing between them, not knowing that it would give her a chance to scheme at him.

Only if he knew what this stupid woman was about to do to him, he'd have strangled her to death yesterday.

"What do you mean?" Braelyn frowned in annoyance at Cedric's loathful glare.

That bastard suddenly kicked her out of the bed, now he's pointing at her in accusations.

Braelyn suddenly looked down, and her eyes widened when she saw that she was naked.

Remembering all this bastard had done last night, she stood up and rushed at him in anger. "You scum! Look what you have done to me!" Braelyn yelled in anger, wishing she could knock him off.

She only wanted to deliver him to his house who knew it would give this bastard the chance to toss her all night long.

Cedric frowned in anger seeing that Braelyn wanted to accuse him. "Braelyn, I never knew you would stoop to this level. After I rejected you, you still dared to drug my drink…".

Braelyn's eyes widened in disbelief, "You, what are you saying?"

"You think I don't know that you were the one who drugged me with an aphrodisiac just for your selfsh aim." Cedric was angered. He had always kept his body for Elkie, his frst love until this mate… he doesn't even want to think about it or else he'd be angered to death.

"What nonsense are you talking about?" Braelyn exclaimed.

"You think I didn't see you in the club last night? If it wasn't you who drugged me for your selfshness, tell me who it was; every piece of evidence points at you." Cedric spat out in anger.

"Prince Cedric," Braelyn wrapped the blanket around her body tighter. "You're mistaken. In fact, we have different things to do at the club and I didn't know you were there. Had it been I didn't hear your uncomfortable cries, I'd defnitely not come over. I led you to your apartment good-heartedly only for you to pull me toward…"

Cedric's eyes suddenly darkened when he saw the smooth skin flled with his marks, but he snapped out of it with a snort. "Why would I have an interest in you? You're just a plain person. I only have interest in Elkie, how can you compare to her?" He spat out with a cold scoff.

"Oh." Braelyn took steps back in mockery, she thought Cedric would take responsibility for his actions last night, but it turns out that he was in love with his childhood sweetheart, Elkie, the beautiful daughter of the Beta. And he'd try to direct the blame at her.

Braelyn was just mud compared to Elkie, but she couldn't do anything other than defend herself. "I never…"

Cedric suddenly approached her with a cold frown, and she could only take steps back in fear.

"What did you want? Money? Fame?" Cedric continued until Braelyn's back hit the wall, "Well, I'll give you enough money. Wash tonight out of your memory…"

Braelyn immediately slapped his face due to his demeaning words, "I may be a poor orphan, but I was never after you for the money."

"So, it's for the fame and power?" Cedric suddenly interrupted with a sneer which made her frown in anger but before Braelyn could say anything, Cedric interrupted...

"Throw her out, guards!" Cedric ordered without caring whether Braelyn was dressed or not.

"You…" Before Braelyn could say anything, two guards held her frmly to prevent her from going over to Cedric's side.

"You're such a heartless jerk," Braelyn yelled loudly as the guards dragged her out of the room with only a blanket wrapped around her thin body.

"Wait!" Cedric suddenly called as they were about to leave the room.

Braelyn glared at him in anger, wondering what he wanted to do, but he suddenly towered over her with a smirk that gave her a bad premonition.

"I… Cedric, the crown prince of White Flake Pack, rejects you, Braelyn, as my mate." Cedric said and closed the door with a taunting smile.

"Ahhhhhh!" Braelyn could hear something shattering inside her.

Braelyn howled loudly in pain as the guards threw her out of the apartment, but it wasn't the pain of the rejection she was only feeling, it was the vicious and contemptuous stares from other pack members who misunderstood her.

Braelyn could understand what was written in those gazes, bitch, whore.

'You can never have the next alpha.

So what if you sleep with him, you can only be kicked out in the morning'

The embarrassment and pain from the White Flake pack were too much after that one-night-stand, which made Braelyn pack her luggage and leave White Flakes pack two days after.

A few days after the incident. In Cedric's monotone offce, a guard suddenly came in.

"Alpha. Miss Braelyn left the pack last night." The guard reported which made Cedric nod.

Cedric frowned slightly, he never expected that the incident would push Braelyn to leave the pack she grew up in, but that's for the better.

He would be able to forget her and that night since he'd never come across her.

But Cedric never expected that rejecting Braelyn would hurt; his wolf also blocked him due to anger.

Now, he was driven crazy by the beauty of her skin not to talk that he could remember how beautiful her skin felt against his.

Not wanting to remember any more of it, Cedric stood up and walked outside, hoping to take a drive to clear his mind.

"BRAELYN!" A few minutes later, Cedric's angry voice resounded in the pack as he stared at his tattered car.
