“What are you two doing here alone?” Simran asked as she marked her entry. The couple looked each other and their shop at the girl's question. She don't look like a customer, rather a traveler who came for shelter or to ask for their help.
“We are running our shop here” the old man said coming forward. His wife stood there watching her husband talking with the strangers.
“Oh no, I don't mean that. I mean where is your children? You both looks so aged to work now” Simran tried to explain .
“She is dead!” The old man said with a sad smile remembering his daughter and the moments he spent with her. Simran's face changed its color hearing that.
