His Ruthless maid

She kept looking at the man who was kneeling on the floor with blindfold covering his eyes. After some time, she finally spoke. "If it isn't our very own Mr winter". She said, smiling wickedly at the man kneeling on the floor.

"Do you think you can owe my uncle and get away with it." She added. She has been trying to capture the man since a long time, not because she can't catch him but she has been giving him chances to pay the money back.

"I'm sorry, please forgive me. I'm so stupid for doing such a thing. Please spare me and my family." He begged, tears falling from his eyes.

"Spare your family?" She asked, laughing so hard, that it makes the man tremble in fear.

"You should have thought of them the moment you decided not to pay my uncle back. Owing my uncle is a mistake, but I , coming to collect it from you, is your biggest mistake." She added, taking a knife from the table in front of her. She looked at the man and kept on laughing.

Then suddenly, she stopped. "But I won't kill you, you still have to pay the money you owe." She said with a smirk. She gave the knife to the huge man standing beside her and said. "Cut off his Pinky and left thumb."

"Huh? You want me to do that?" The huge man asked her, confirming to be sure he heard her right.

"Do you want me to do it instead. I might as well cut yours with his." She said, raising her head to him and swaying her black hair in the air. "Get it done with, don't make me repeat my word." The lady said raising her eyebrows at him before she stood up, she looked at the man one last time before leaving the house.

"No!! Please forgive me, I will pay his money. Come back, please. Someone help me." The man shouted and begged in tears, he kept on crying and shouting thinking someone might come to help him or maybe the girl will reconsider. But the girl had long gone, she didn't even look back at him.

In the kingdom of Demecia, the king is having an audience with his ministers and Chief secretaries.

"My king, if the price of the goods increase, it will make more money for the king and also the ministers." Mr Travis, one of the chief secretaries said.

"Yes my king, the price of goods in the market are cheap. We can enable more tax in the kingdom." Another man said.

"I don't see why we should increase the tax, I mean it will still affect the people." Another man said.

The king who was on the throne only sat down and watched them argue before he finally spoke.

"Are you all done? Or you need more time to argue?" The king asked raising his voice at them. They all kept mute and bow their heads.

There will be no raise in any price, the price will be the same. The king said. He knew what they're trying to do, they're trying to raise the price for their own gain, and he also knows Travis is a selfish person.

"But your highness, the price are too low and it's affecting the tax. Mr Travis said again.

He was about to say another thing, before the king cuts him off.

I'm the king of this kingdom, I make the rules and no one, I repeat no one should or can question my authority. The king said looking directly at Mr Travis. I hope I'm clear? He asked before standing up from his throne to leave.

"Travis, you can see how much I've tried, but the king didn't even want to listen to us." The man who supported Travis said. Isn't the king your childhood friend, why did he treat you that way? I guess he must have known about your plan. The man kept on talking to Travis, who didn't even pay him any attention. He was already fuming in anger before the man came.

He left the castle in anger without waiting or talking to anyone. When he got home, he saw his niece waiting for him in the living room.

"Uncle, you're back? Welcome, I've been waiting for you." Eve said standing up straight in front of the man.

"Hmm ok." Mr Travis replied, sitting down on the chair. He was so sad and down, he kept thinking about what the king had said to him.

"I've done what you sent me to do." She said, referring to Mr winter who was owing her uncle. "Is there something wrong?" She asked, noticing her uncle was down.

"I've never felt so insulted in my life like I felt today." He said, feeling pity for himself. "He insulted me right in front of everyone, and I couldn't do a thing than to leave in anger.

"Who was it? Who insulted you?" She asked looking at her uncle for an answer. She wondered who dares try to insult her uncle because surely, the person will regret ever doing such. "Who would it have been, if not the very king of Demecia kingdom, King Henry." He replied, smiling at her as if he hit his head.

She kept mute for some time, her uncle has been working with the king for a very long time. Even though lately, her uncle has been complaining about the king, she didn't expect the king to insult him.

"I will teach him a lesson he will never forget, I will make sure he pays for everything he had said to me." Mr Travis said in anger. looking at her uncle for a while, she asked. What will you do to him? I mean he's the king, and he has a lot of power, so what will yo.. She continued, she was about to finish talking before her uncle cut her off saying.

"I will make sure he never has the chance to talk to me that way again." The king has to die. He said looking at Eve, who was staring at him in surprise.
