I was walking through the dark hallways lifting up my skirts

There was only one hour left to the Luna ceremony. Soon I will not be their Luna anymore.

“This way, my Luna.” I heard Beta Russell’s voice who was walking ahead. It was the back door of the pack house.

Darkness had started enveloping the sky. Once I was out I inhaled the Oxygen in my lungs. Staying in my room for so long had almost made me forget about the smell of dry tree leaves and Jasmine.

It was getting difficult to walk in the dark due to my wolfless body. Beta Russell might have sensed it because his hand slipped through my hand...

His fingers intertwined with mine. He was still walking cautiously towards the cottage where Luna Jennifer was living along with her mate. The ex Luna. Romeo’s mom!

I gazed down where our hands were touching each other. His strong one and mine a delicate one.

I did not why it felt good. I had been his Luna and was not allowed to touch or think about any other male.
