Chapter 2
Ashley had already began her nerve-racking penniless day.She was so hungry that it was visible. Her slender curvy body had become thin and her blue eyes had dimmed. She pressed the button indicating that the next person had to be quick."One Americano and a caramel." The next person placed his order. She nodded, getting the money and shoving it into the money box that came out as she pressed another button."Next.""Didn't think you'd back down so quickly Cara Mia, how fearful have you become."She didn't need a soothsayer to tell her who it was. There was no way he'd be there, right in front of her. Right? She looked up at him and bit her lips, as his handsome face came to view. She grabbed the mug tightly glaring at him.He had made her life a fucking hell and she hated him for it.She never got to have a mundane high school life and it was all because of him."You're not excited to see me." He said, sighing as he turned to the others behind him."Scram."That was all it took, to get the others running out of the coffee shop."You don't own the world." She glared at him and he nodded, pushing the seat to sit behind the counter opposite her."I do." He smiled."Why are you here?" She asked, turning to the see the two women he had brought that had taken a seat on one of the tables."You're still feisty, it doesn't fit you Ash." He said, his eyes boring hers. She hated the way he called her name, hated the abbreviation he gave it that sounded pleasant. Ash."You're with something that belongs to me.""I'll drop it at your office tomorrow." She kept a blank face, her eyes darting to the women. They looked like nothing but whore...that was what they were actually."Does my presence here bother you?" He asked, and she scoffed."You can spend the night here for all I care Mikhail, can you just stop bothering me really. I told you about the contract. I don't want it. Thanks." She moved away from the counter and took a seat."I called the hospital and your mother is quite unwell." He said. That piqued her interest and she turned to him, curious and angered at the same time."Seems like she'll be thrown out of the hospital if her bill is not foot by the end of the week." He shrugged."How wicked can nurses and doctors be." He shook his head.Ashley was not stupid. She was not a newbie in the game. This was the kind of time, she hated being poor. She would surely get a piston and surely the man In frong of her would be the very first person she would use it on."What did you do Mikhail?"Others would be afriad of him, but she knew better. He was scary but she refuse to be scared by him.He had done all sort of things to her and she had stood her ground. This wasn't the time to back down and cower that would want him to taunt her the more."Sign the files and bring it to my desk Ash, this is going to be the last time." He smirked, turning around and leaving the shop. The women stood up and followed him.She bit her lips, dialing Sandra's phone number."Hello.""They gave us the weekend to take mother away." The person at the other side of the call said. She closed her eyes, tears running down her eyes. This wasn't Good. The hated she had for him brewed."I'm sorry Ashley, it is not in my hands." He muimbled. She clenched her fist."Mikhail Mazza had a hand in this right?" She asked, chuckling as she did. He sighed, rounding the counter and taking and taking the mug she held on her other hand."He wants you Ashley, many girls would be running to him already." The man said, dropping the mug."I'm not many girls, I'm myself." She said, rounding the counter and leaving the shop after tossing her apron on the table. She had gotten enough of the shit! She knew where to find him. She would end the shit she had gotten her self into.He wasn't the cause, she was. After Highschool, she had made sure all ties with him was cut off and now he was back to torment her life like he'd always did.She stepped down of the taxi and walked in to the club. They guards gave her a look and glared at her."I'm here to see Mikhail." She said, glaring right back at the guard."Everyone is said to call him with respect, I'd watch your tongue if I were you." The guard snarled but she paid no attention to him.She raised her eyes and found him leaning on the third floor rails, as he whispered to some lady's who giggled like ducks."Mikhail!!" She yelled, but was pushed back by one of the guards."Don't fucking touch me, I want to talk to Mikhail, right this instant and there is nothing you can do to fucking stop me!" She glared at the man who looked huge.He was a man and many more."Go home princess, such a place is not meant for a princess as your self." He said and she shook her head."I'm not leaving without talking to Mikhail, go tell that asshole to come meet me here.""Whack!"The slap had come with force, causing her to stagger back and losing her footing. She fell on the floor, her eyes red with anger."Are you done?" She asked, standing up."Don't test my Patience lady." The man said, and she huffed."Tell Mikhail, that I won't leave till he speaks with me."There was no way she'd let him control her life. This wasn't High school and they were grown adults not children. She raised her eyes up, and just that moment he turned laughing as he looked around and his eyes met hers. She blinked, trying to keep herself steady but tears came rushing out!TBCTBCChapter 3 Mikhail Mazza was not taking No for an answer. He'd grown up and found joy in the best way he could. He didn't go around Fucking women like the tabloid said about him.But he loved getting the attention it drew, so why clear the air?He knew how the citys and the town worked, he was a made man and he'd follow the footsteps of his father, the formal capo of the Mafia world. He wouldn't lie, he had gotten his own fair share of woman. He was no saint and he would never send away a willing woman.Women flock around him and he didn't care, when the bend over his chair.. he'd fucked them and he'd send them away.He didn't even know their names, just their cunt and how wet they would continue to be for him.Walking In to the Coffee shop, he walked pass the long queue and stood close to the next person.Giving the person a look, way was made and he'd gone through."Next." He had heard her call and he smirked, standing in front of her."Didn't think you'd back down so quickly Cara
Chapter 4Ashley could have sworn that she never thought she could do what she did.She had slapped him and he had that expression that said; I'll kill you today. She was not afriad of herself but that of her mother also.He was a bastard.A cursed devil that would do everything in his power to make sure her face winced with pain and hurting her mother would do him good. She watched him clenched his fist and sighed. He took a step front and she took one back. She saw the men staring at her as if she'd grown another head. His name was Mikhail Mazza, he didn't hit women doesn't mean he didn't order for their death. With everything he had done to her, she could label him a murderer and much more, after all, he was the Country's Kingpin. She didn't know much about the Mafias but hell she had seen things with her eyes. She knew how the local Mafia operated. The deaths, the fear, the dread, the ins and out.He grabbed her hand and dragged her to himself before turning to the stairs and he c
Chapter 5Her eyes were blurry as she sat on the back seat of the long bus.She held her backpack close to her chest, and wiped the tears.Mikhail Mazza was a monster. She hated him, she hated everything about him.She sniffed and stepped down from the bus as It got to her bus stop. The road was lonely unlike before. She walked slowly till she got home. The apartment was no place to be called home. She hated it. Hated the stench.Everything about the room pissed her off.She walked to the only chair that was in the room and sat down. She wanted out. She wanted out of the poverty she was in.She had seen men and women thrive hard to become a success and she loved that. She had tried too, but it didn't work out for her, never did and now she was stuck with that monster who would derive pleasure in seeing her rot to death, not that she cared less. The door knob turned and Sandra walked in."Hey." She smiled and the other girl sighed."Amy says she can't loan at the moment, got some thing
Chapter 6The morning sun was shining more brightly than ever, as Ashley rinsed the dress she had washed. Her hands looked pale and white and her fingers were aching due to the number of clothes she had washed. After the building washing machine broke down, clothes were heaped and she hated the fact that her clothes were the worst of them all. She'd walk both day and night and time was not on her side, it had never been.Sandra walked out to the backyard of their apartment.Thankfully, they had taken the Lower part of the building and so they had a large space in the backyard for cleaning and washing."Today," Sandra said and sighed."Hmm, today," Ashley answered, knowing full well what she was talking about.Heaving a deep breath, Ashley cracked her hands and began hanging the clothes on the rope.It was for her mother! Only for her mother! The woman had gone through a lot and doing this would be the best way to repay her. There was no way, she'd let her mother go like that! No way a
Chapter 7"When you do this there's no turning back." He said and she nodded.Ashley knew what she was getting herself into. She knew they task ahead and his words would not shake her again.Few days ago she would die than sign the papers but here she was ready to fill the paper and get it done with."Just so you know Ash, I should tell you what I would do to you if you sign his papers." He said, and she kept quiet.Ashley knew he what he was up to.There was no way he'd give her such a contract without a reason."Can I ask a question?" She asked, staring at him.He loved her confidence, her braveness. Was it braveness or foolishness? He would soon break down the boldness she has and leave her calling to him for help."You just did." He said and she rolled her eyes."Stop doing that." He cautioned and she did it again."Why a child? Why do you need a child and why do I have to be the one to birth it?" She asked, and he snorted."Well well well, look who thinks she's special." He chuck
Chapter 8Ashley got down from the car.She felt sick to her stomach as she looked at the door."You're not going to fly in Ash, you'll have to walk," Mikhail said, and he hissed. She didn't like the guy, not even one bit.She wanted nothing more but to hit his head with a machete till he would die screaming. She would keep to herself till they were married. She fúçking hated him!"It's a fucking mutual feeling." He said, smiling at her but she said nothing.Ashley Crook was determined to make him pay.Pay for the days he'd bullied her at high school.Pay for the day, he'd make her feel like shit, as he fucked some girl in the girl's bathroom, with the door open. He'd pay for the days, she left the school crying in the rain. He'd surely pay for all that, sooner or later."You look like an ugly pumpkin, try to smile and look better no one would judge." He said and she didn't say a word.Recalling those things was making her eyes well. She was not supposed to cry for someone like him.H
Chapter 9I'm so sorry guys, for the last repeated chapters. Network is fluctuating badly.•••Ashley got down from the car.., sniffed, rubbing her nose. She watched as he stepped down as well, throwing the key at the man that walked closer to them. His mansion was extraordinary like she had thought it would be.Would she stay here with him? Or would he find her a quiet place to stay when she gets pregnant? At least that was what the dramas and novels acted."How many times do I have to invite you in Ash or is it that you love me calling your name so much." He said and she scoffed."What I'm I doing here? I just signed it Mikhail..the least you could do is wait for a day or maybe for me to visit my family and pay them a farewell visit." She said and he huffed."There's no need for that Ash, you and I know that there's no reason..no fucking reason for that. Your mother and your sister are better off without you." He said. She frowned."There's no need to blame you, you don't even know
Chapter 10He made to move and she turned around, moving to the path that lead to the small patio at the other end of the first floor. He frowned, moving forward till there was no place for her to run to.Ashley should have known that he was a monster and if he'd want something, he was bound to get it.He was God, and she'd come to respect that.He hated when she challenged him and loved it as well.It always gave him the power to fight and still, he'd win. There was nothing called power-pull when it came to Ashley. He loved the fight she offered him, cause no other person did.Men would always cower and there was nobody to challenge him but with the woman that he was staring at, she was always ready to fight him knowing fully well he'd win and she would be rendered helpless.Clicking his tongue, he raised his fingers to touch her hair as he trapped her on the wall."Ash....you always intrigue me." He murmured."It's Ashley for you." She gritted her teeth, tears welling up in her eyes
