The dining room of the Vance estate was loud with the clink of sterling silver against fine porcelain and the boisterous, booming laughter of Ethan’s father. Ethan sat beside me at the head of the long table, his heavy arm draped casually over the back of my chair. It was a performative, suffocating weight—far more like a leash meant for show than any genuine sign of affection.

Every few minutes, Ethan would lean close, whispering some half-hearted nonsense about our upcoming wedding before turning his attention right back to his phone. Under the edge of the heavy mahogany table, his thumb flew across the screen, discreetly texting Victoria while she sat four chairs down, sipping her mimosa with a secretive, smirking curve to her polished lips.

I sat rigid, taking a slow sip of my champagne with an expression of total, unbothered grace. Across the table, Damon sat in complete silence. His dark, obsidian eyes hadn't left my face since the second course was served. He wasn't participating in his brother’s mindless corporate chatter; he was watching me, his presence heavy, suffocating, and charged with an unspoken authority that made the air in the room feel paper-thin.

"Robin, babe," Ethan suddenly broke in, tapping his empty glass with his fork. "Dad wants the '98 Rothschild for the steak course. Head down to the east cellar and grab a couple of bottles, will you? You know how I get with those steep stone steps after a few drinks."

It wasn't a gentle request; it was a casual, dismissive errand meant to demonstrate to his family how compliant his bride-to-be was.

"Of course," I said smoothly, placing my linen napkin beside my plate. I stood up, smoothing the midnight-blue silk of my dress down my thighs.

As I pushed back my chair, my eyes briefly met Damon’s. His expression remained utterly impassive, but his jaw tightened, a sharp muscle flexing near his temple.

I turned and walked out of the sunlit dining room, stepping into the quiet, cool corridor that led to the estate’s lower level. The heavy oak door to the basement opened with a low, rusty groan. I descended the narrow stone steps, the ambient warmth of the main house slowly giving way to the damp, chilling air of the underground wine vault.

The cellar was massive—a cavernous labyrinth of arched brick and ancient stone, lit only by dim, amber wall sconces that cast long shadows across endless rows of wooden racks. I navigated the quiet aisles, searching for the specific vintage Ethan had requested. The silence down here was absolute, completely muffling the sound of chatter from the floorboards directly above.

I reached the back wall of the reserve section, running my fingertips along the cold, dust-covered glass of the ancient bottles.

Click.

The distinct, heavy sound of an iron latch falling into place echoed from the entrance of the cellar.

I froze. I turned slowly, my heart taking a violent, sudden leap against my ribs.

A shadow moved along the central stone archway. Tall, broad-shouldered, and moving with terrifying, deliberate silence, Damon stepped into the dim light of the aisle.

He didn't say a single word. He walked straight toward me, locking the heavy iron key into his pocket before stopping just inches from where I stood trapped against the wooden racks. The scent of his expensive cedarwood cologne mixed with the earth and oak of the cellar, instantly crowding out every drop of air in my lungs.

"You take orders from him entirely too well," Damon said, his voice a low, gravelly baritone that vibrated straight down my spine.

I raised my chin, refusing to give an inch, even as my shoulder blades pressed flat against the vintage racks. "It keeps the peace upstairs. And I’m down here doing what I was asked."

"You're down here because he treated you like a servant," Damon corrected, taking a slow step closer until his broad chest brushed the silk covering my breasts. "And because you knew I’d follow you."

My breath hitched, my pulse hammering wildly in my throat as Damon reached out, his large, calloused hand closing over my waist with a grip that bruised. He didn't hesitate. He hooked his fingers into the delicate silk of my dress, yanking me forward until my hips slammed flush against his tailored trousers.

The heat radiating off him was overwhelming. I let out a soft, sharp gasp as Damon’s free hand slid up the back of my neck, his long fingers tangling into my hair and tilting my head back at a punishing angle.

"Damon..." I breathed, the warning weak and breathless on my lips.

"He doesn't touch you like this," Damon growled against my mouth, his dark eyes burning with an unhinged, territorial fire. "He doesn't know how to make you bleed, and he sure as hell doesn't know how to make you beg. Tell me I'm wrong."

Instead of answering, I gripped the lapels of his suit jacket. My mind roared with the danger of the family sitting thirty feet above us, but the sheer physical contrast between Ethan’s careless neglect and Damon’s ruthless, consuming focus sent a wave of liquid heat straight to my core.

Damon didn't wait for my permission. He crashed his mouth down onto mine in a deep, punishing kiss that stripped away every remaining shred of my composure.

Damon let out a dark, breathless laugh, his eyes burning with pure, unadulterated lust as he carried me two steps over to the wide leather sofa. He threw me down onto the cushions, my dress bunched up around my ribcage, my breasts completely bare, and my legs falling wide open in pure, uninhibited invitation. He didn't take off his trousers. He just unbuckled his belt with a quick, loud metallic clink, unzipped his fly, and freed his thick, pulsing length. He was rock hard, thick, and pre-cum was already glistening at the tip.Seeing him like that—raw, massive, and completely ready to take me—sent a fresh wave of liquid heat straight to my thighs. I reached down, grabbing the thin scrap of my silk underwear, and ripped it sideways, exposing my wet, swollen center completely to his view."Fuck, Robin," Damon rasped, his voice rough and stripped of all composure as his dark eyes locked onto my dripping core. "You're fucking soaked.""Then don't make me wait," I demanded, my hips arching

  • His Uncle Ruined Me For Good   The Threshold of Shadow

The rain was slamming hard against the panoramic glass of the penthouse elevator as it shot up to the top floor of Vance Tower. My skin felt hot, my throat dry, and my pulse was hammering with a fast, heavy rhythm that had nothing to do with anxiety and everything to do with pure, desperate physical need.Ethan had texted earlier with some boring complaint about his father tearing apart his quarterly projections, but I hadn't even bothered reading it. My body wasn't thinking about Ethan. My body was thumping with a deep, aching itch that had been building at the base of my spine since the moment I woke up. I wanted dirty, ruthless, uninhibited sex, and there was only one man who knew how to give it to me.The elevator doors opened directly into Damon’s penthouse with a soft, electronic chime. He didn't have his suit jacket on. He was standing near the edge of the dark hardwood floor wearing just his tailored trousers, his crisp white dress shirt completely unbuttoned down the front, e

Victoria adjusted her posture, her hazel eyes narrowing as she tried to recalculate her attack. She leaned forward slightly, resting her forearms on the edge of my mahogany desk, trying to force an intimacy that wasn't there."Well, it's not just business, Robin," Victoria dropped her voice to a conspiratorial whisper, her tone dripping with fake concern. "He was so stressed when he came over around midnight. He mentioned he stopped by your place first, but that you... turned him away? He seemed so disappointed, poor thing. A man like Ethan—a Vance—isn't used to being locked out in the cold. He came straight to my apartment looking for a littl

  • His Uncle Ruined Me For Good   The Uninvited Guest

The morning sun streaming through the floor-to-ceiling windows of my corner office should have felt warm, but the heavy glass skyscraper remained chilled by central air and corporate tension. I sat behind my desk, nursing a double shot of black espresso. Beneath the crisp collar of my silk blouse, my skin still throbbed with a faint, phantom heat—a silent reminder of Damon’s mouth and hands in the dark, blacked-out cabin of his Maybach just hours ago.I had spent twenty minutes in front of my bathroom mirror at dawn trying to cover the dark bruise near my collarbone with concealer. I hadn't covered it completely. A part of me—a dark, reckless part I barely recognized—wanted it there. It was armor against the quiet lies of the Vance family. My phone buzzed on the blotter. It was an email from Ethan’s secretary confirming he was "out of office for off-site client me

  • His Uncle Ruined Me For Good   The Dark Glass

The dark cabin of the Maybach felt suffocatingly small, thick with the scent of leather, scotch, and the heavy, electric musk of our bodies. I was completely undone in his lap, my black coat falling off my shoulders, my underwear discarded somewhere on the floorboards, and my bare skin pressing flush against the rough weave of his trousers.Damon looked down at me, his face a harsh sculpture of dark focus in the dim amber light of the car's footwells. He grabbed my chin between his thumb and forefinger, tilting my head back until my dark eyes met his."You left your bed at midnight to come down to a dark garage for me," Damon rasped, his voice a low, gravelly vibration that rattled through my chest. "Say why you're here, Robin.""Because I needed this," I breathed, my hands sliding up his chest to grip the open collar of his shirt, my fingers tangling in the dark hair there. "Because I can't let him touch me anymore. Only you."A dark, savage smirk cut across his features. "That's my

The clock on my nightstand ticked silently over to 11:58 PM. My body was still humming from the scalding hot shower I’d taken to wash away the ghost of Ethan’s touch, but the skin beneath my collarbone—where Damon had left his mark in the cellar—seemed to burn with a phantom heat.he lingering repulsion of his presence still made my skin crawl.I was sitting on the edge of my bed, nursing a glass of ice water and staring blankly at the city lights outside my window, when the quiet vibration of my phone startled the silence.I picked it up. A single text from an unsaved, private number flashed across the dark screen.B1 Level. Executive Garage. Vance Tower. 12:15 AM.No greeting. No asking if I was awake. Just a blunt command written in the dark, confident authority that belonged to only one man.I held the phone, staring at the glowing numbers until the screen dimmed. I shouldn't go. I should block the number, throw my silk robe back on, and go to sleep like a sane woman who cared abou
