Chapter 3

"Vienna, where shall we wait for Michelle?" Therese asked. The two of us are currently walking down the hallway going to the cafeteria. We had just finished our three classes and earlier, my eyes searching for Sebastian but he didn't attend the class. I don't know why I'm looking for him?

"We'll have Michelle with us for lunch later. She's busy on the council right now, you know she's the Vice President, right?" I answered.

"Ahh is that so.. Oh! I forgot something," she said. But she suddenly slapped her forehead which surprised me. I wondered why she did that but she immediately took her phone from her bag.

"Why? What's the problem?" I asked, confused.

"The new cover song by VnM will be released now," she said happily. So she's one of my listeners? I secretly smiled. This time, it looks like I'll let her know about my secret. After all, she's my friend.

"You know what Vienna, you have the same voice," she added but she wasn't looking at me.

"I'm VnM," I shortly replied making her stop from walking. She covered her mouth and looked at me in shock.

"Oh my god!" she exclaimed. But before she could get hysterical about it, I immediately covered her mouth.

"Shhh!! don't be loud, let's just keep it a secret okay?" I whisper to her ears and smiled at her.

"I still can't believe it, one of my favorite artists is with me," she whispered in disbelief which made me laugh as well.

She said that so many times since we bought our food in the cafeteria. She hugged me several times, held my arm tightly, and kissed me on my cheek. I also said to her the reason why I still have to keep hidden my identity. I'm thankful because she understood and supported me.

"Just eat Therese, you've been talking since we left the cafeteria." I laughed immediately but she just smiled at me widely.

The two of us ate again and talked about other things. I enjoyed talking to her, I just laughed at what she was telling me. We ate for about an hour and we're both thankful because we don't have class after break, so we can stay longer here.

"So, you're going to join the Music Club?" she asked, I nodded in response.

"Aren't you afraid that they will find out that you're VnM?" she asked again.

"All secrets are being revealed, why should I be afraid? If everyone knows, I'm willing to explain," I replied, and Therese immediately put her arm around me.

"Don't worry, I'll support you there. Uhm.. Vienna can we take a selfie?" she asked shyly, I smiled and nodded.

And we started taking a selfie about five times then after that, she hugged me again. She told me that she's been one of my biggest fans for almost 2 years. I can't believe it but she has all of my covered songs on her phone. And I couldn't stop myself from hugging her too.

The two of us stopped when we heard a group of women shouting in too much happiness because of someone. The two of us looked at each other and we were confused about what is happening.

They are all very happy but who are they referring to?

"It looks like it's Sebastian again," Therese said.

She was right, it was because of Sebastian, and from here in our direction, I could see him. He's with a group of men and I think, they are former members of the Music Club.

He has a guitar strapped to his shoulder plus he has a new haircut. Now, I already know the reason why every woman admires him.

"Is Sebastian handsome in your eyes?" Therese asked but she was still looking in Sebastian's direction.

"Yes, but it doesn't mean that I like him," I replied.

"I'm just asking, anyways.. maybe he wasn't in class earlier because they practiced for the upcoming event."

He seems to be annoyed with the women around him because he can't get out of his place.

What's wrong with that guy that all of the sudden I'm curious about his personality. The way he looked at me seems to have a meaning but I'm not assuming. It's just that's how I think about him. I've only been here for two days but it seems like I've known him for a long time.

"Hi, Vienna." I was almost to curse but I just closed my eyes and faced the two men who came. It's them again, Sebastian's friends.

Why do they still approach me?

"Let's go Vienna, it's already our next class," Therese said while pulling me up. The two were left wondering. I know why we left there, it's just that Therese wanted me to avoid them.

BRITT'S POV

Why is Therese stopping us to keep close with Vienna? we will not harm her. We just want to know her and talk to her.

"What's the matter with Therese? she was still like that since yesterday," Enzo said annoyed when we sat down on the bench where Vienna had sat earlier.

"I don't know but I think it's because of Sebastian again," I replied annoyed. How do we know that Vienna is the Vienna that became our friend and best friend a long time ago?

"Yeah, our friend is so famous, that's why Therese stopped us to get close with Vienna. But why she didn't even recognize us?" Enzo said sadly. What could have happened to her 3 years ago?

"What could have happened to her? We didn't hear any news 3 years ago. How can we know that she is our friend if Therese stops us?" he continued.

"He has a brother, it's Vince remember? We met him when we were 1st-year high school, Vienna's birthday celebration." Enzo thought about my answer and I hope he still remembers.

When Vienna and I were kids, I never met her older brother because he didn't live in their house. But on Vienna's birthday, that was the first time I met him and he met me. I see him here at the university, he was the team captain of the Engineering soccer team but we haven't played against him in the game yet.

"What's your plan? even though we're in the same university, he doesn't even talk to us." Enzo is right, Vince doesn't talk to us and I don't know why. We met once here at the university but he doesn't seem to know us.

"We'll follow him later after class," I replied.

"What are we, stalker? think carefully. What will he think of us if we do that?"

What else can we do besides that? Because I can't think of any other way. Hays.. you are a big QUESTION MARK to us Vienna.

VIENNA'S POV

It's lunchtime now but I will eat alone because Therese left the room immediately and went to the swimming club for meeting with the club officers. Then Michelle was also busy and she said she will eat at the student council. It's okay for me to eat alone, I'm used to it but I seem to be used to the presence of Therese and Michelle.

I arranged my things and put them in my bag. Sebastian attended the class, I think their practice is over.

"Vienna, come with us," Sandra said. She's kind and approachable but I don't like the presence of her friends.

"No need Sandra, it's okay, and thank you," I replied and smiled at her.

"Okay Vienna, see you around." And she left the room with her friends. I got up again but I suddenly gasped when I heard a loud noise come from a group of women outside the room.

But Sebastian was here inside, how could that happen?

"Vienna, there's someone who's looking for you out here," Lester said. Who is he referring to? but I just went out to look for it.

But I don't know the person who is here. Who is he? why is he looking for me?

"Am I what you're looking for?" I asked that makes everyone shut down. What do they think that he's my boyfriend? But I didn't even notice Sebastian's presence, he was right next to me. I thought he would pass by but no, he stay that makes me surprised.

"I'm Tine Alvarez, a 4th year Engineering student. Friend of your brother, now you know who I am." Is he a friend of my brother? but why only now do I seem to have met him? Is this my brother's revenge on me? that guy upset me.

"Let's go, I'm hungry."

And he suddenly grabbed my hand and pulled me away from the room. It grabbed everyone's attention.

What's the problem with this guy?

I remove my hand from his grip but he doesn't want to let go.

"Can you stop first? hey! could you stop?! I said, let me go!" I angrily said. He stopped and let go of my hand. Now, I wanted to slap him.

"I can walk on my own okay? and I don't need you. Why are you pulling me? are we close? You're just my brother's friend but I don't know you," I said, annoyed. But he didn't answer and he just looked at me.

"I'm sorry okay? I just want to get out of your room, because your female classmates are annoying. Your brother asked me for a favor to eat with you. Don't be mad, we're here already, and can you please just agree?" he replied.

"Okay fine, but stay away from me." And I walked ahead of him but he followed until we reached the cafeteria. All the students looked at us when we entered together but I just ignore them.

"I'll buy it, just find an empty table." I couldn't react because he left me to buy our lunch. I don't want to act out because I'm already hungry.

I finally found an empty table and sat down when I reach it. After about 15 minutes, Tine already bought the food for us. He put it on the table, steak with rice and bottled water for me, and menudo with 3 rice and 2 bottled water for him.

"I know what you're thinking." Did he read my mind? shame!

"Are you really hungry? let's split the steak here, it's too big for me." I regret the way I approached him earlier. Then my older brother asked him for a favor to accompany me.

I divided the steak and put it on his plate.

"It's too kind of you to give me this but thank you," he said shyly but I didn't answer and just ate.

"After lunch do you have a practice?" I asked and he nodded in response. His mouth was full and still full that's why he didn't answer.

"Take it easy, I'm not going to take your food," I joked making him laugh.

"Yes, next Friday is our game so we all practice," he replied when he swallowed what he was eating.

"Who is your opponent?" I asked again. I don't know but I think I'm blabbering now.

"Political Science," he replied shortly. So it's Sebastian's team? but why don't they seem to have a practice?

"Hi, Tine."

A group of women greeted him as they approached our table. They also looked at me but with scornful looks. Are they seniors?

"I'm with someone, so leave," Tine answered without emotion.

"Is she your girlfriend? it's just now that we saw her with you," a tall woman said. I just averted my eyes because I might have something else to say.

"If I say she's my girlfriend, will you stop following me?" I suddenly looked at Tine when he said that.

What does he mean? is he teasing me? But he suddenly approached my direction while carrying his chair. Is this what I'm thinking, he will going to use me against this woman.

I gasped when he suddenly put his arm around my shoulder and the group of women who's in front of us was shocked while looking at us.

I nudged him several times but he just didn't seem to care.

"Baby look at me."

'My God! Tine, what do you plan to do? I will kill you if you say anything wrong to them.'

"Hey baby look at me," he whispered softly and gently touched my chin to face him.

"I love you," he immediately said which surprised everyone especially me.

I'm so nervous.. this time I'm dead.

"Ayieeee Vienna. I'm thrilled. If I was there in the cafeteria, I'd choke you."

Now, I regret why I joined that guy. Everyone was talking about me because of what had happened earlier. The news spread everywhere even if it's just fake, damn!

After that embarrassing scene, his fans never leave me alone. They asked questions about when we started dating or when we become lovers, others greeted me and they congratulated me but the others looked at me badly. It was as if I just wanted to ask the earth to swallow me out of embarrassment.

"Stop it, Michelle. I'm going to pull your hair out of your head if you don't stop." She's with me now and she's been teasing me for a while.

"AHAHAHAHA friend, Tine is so handsome. He has white skin, he's friendly, tall, sporty, smooth and he has no pimples or scars."

That's really what she noticed. But I want to pull her hair, she makes me pissed off.

"VIENNAAAAA !!!!"

Here she comes, no other than Therese. For sure, she will also tease me. When she came in our direction, she immediately walked over to me and put her arm around my shoulder.

"What is the feeling of I love you by Tine Alvarez?" I rolled my eyes and removed her hand that was holding me.

"No, I don't feel anything. The one I feel now, annoyed and angry because of what he did."

I know that he just did that to stop those women earlier and it's so annoying 'cause that's what he said.

"Didn't you even feel any romantic excitement? Tine is so handsome," Therese added.

"Me? romantic excitement?! in my dreams!" I answered, annoyed.

When I see that guy again, I'll kill him. What kind of day is this? it's annoying and frustrating. My brother is right, I will cry. This is a great revenge for me and it's not funny.
