Alicia stood in the hallway just in front of the kitchen door with a try in her hand. Ena was there too, scowling at her with deep contempt – not like that was new to see – but there was another person there too. He looked a bit familiar to Alicia with the way he styled his hair. Alicia could swear that they had met before but could not quite put her finger on the where and the when. In order not to just stand there and look dumb which would invariably warrant a shout and a few insults from Ena, Alicia curtsied a little to the man and greeted politely.

“Hello, Sir.” She had gone for hello and not good morning, afternoon, or night so she does not come off as too formal just in case she had known him before and she was the one whose memory was lagging here. she begun to walk off to the dining when she heard her name come out of the man’s mouth.

“Alicia. How are you?”
