“So, I’m supposed to pretend I don’t know my best friend? How does that make sense??” Holly asks, her expression incredulous as she looks from Stephen to me. He shrugs, leaving me to deal with his mate’s questions.

There had been a minor flaw in my very flawless plan, asides the obvious flaw being that I already found my mate and I am hoping by some form of miracle, he’d turn out to be a she. Or make a she from scratch.

Anyway, another angle I hadn’t considered was the fact that Holly goes here, I mean it’s the only high school on the pack land, another reason my father stays winning, what better way to unite the pack than the students from each district/town becoming best friends??
