56. Making up

"What was she doing with him?" I asked, "And how did you end up at a hotel?" Lucas didn't say anything he looked nervous...

"Don't lie to us Lucas tell the truth.." Dad said sternly. 

" Okay fine.." he said, "I went there with a girl.." He whispered the last part but we heard it anyway.

"You what?" Dad growled at him. 

"Well I am a guy and I have needs plus I am unmated anyway after I came out of the hotel room with my 'date'  I saw Angel in the same hallway and that's when the guy showed up and I accompany her. The man had no intention of touching her I could tell because as soon as we walked in, he started telling her about what he found out and that Zara was in London.."

"Zara?" Dad mumbled. 

"Yeah she has been worried  about this war and so she wanted to find her just in case she became pregnant and didn't want to fight.."
