Can I call you mummy?

"Whoever is inside that place should come out now," he yelled and Sophia almost come out of her hiding place to give him the piece of her heart. A message pop inside her phone, she stare at her phone and it's the reminder of her debt. She has many things to do with her salary so she can't quit now, right? She hasn't even taking her revenge, it will be a waste of five years.

"What are you still waiting for?" Lucas snap at her, and she quickly bows before she scurries out of his study, and he sigh deeply.

"What are you doing here?" He asked.

    "Forgive me, sir. I'm really sorry, ... I didn't mean to barge into your room," She falls to her knees, and apologizes to him, it's better to act innocent for no w.

    "Get up," he says to her.

    "No, sir... Please let me remain like this. Please forgive me," She pleads as if she is held at gunpoint and she's desperately begging for her life.

    "I told you to get up," she snap at her, and she quickly springs up to her feet. He stare at her eyes, thinking why she had to come into his room, his room of all places, did she even know what she got herself into.

    "I'm sorry not sorry at all, I can't wait to see how miserable you will become," she wanted to say to him, but for some reasons well known to her she restrained herself.

    "Why are you here?" He ask her, trying to sound as calm as he can, but he sounds more angry.

    

    "Uhm... I came to drop the car key, I ran inside the your study when I heard footsteps because I don't know if you will get angry if you meet me here," She replies to him. She wondered what he came back to do. 

    "How did you know my passcode? No one know my passcode in this house, who the hell are you?," He yelled and Sophia mentally scoffed. 

"He can never change, he is still the same as five years ago. Rich people and their nasty behavior.

    "Your daughter tell me the passcode, sir. I am sorry for coming here without your notice" She inquires, and Lucas nod his head. In as much as he wants to warn her to never come to his room again, some part of him doesn't want to tell her that, he has been avoiding eyes contact with her. He don't also want to look like a bad person in her eyes, so I allow her to look for it.

    "Did you know how to drive?" Lucas asked and she quickly nod her head.

"Yeah, I know how to drive, sir. I am sorry for driving her to school without your notice" she replied.

    "You should go back to your room" he says and Sophia ram out, Adams has been there all along and he wondered why his boss let her go without searching her. H doesn't trust anyone when it comes to his personal stuffs, so he almost make sure he sack anyone that come in contact with his room, that was the reason why he doesn't have maid in the house. Adam clear his throat and Lucas turn back to see him 

"What's the meaning of that?" Lucas asked, Adams is the only one he is close with apart from his daughter.

    "Nothing, I was just surprised how you let her go without interrogation," Adams further says to him, and he sign briefly. 

"I am sure you aren't deaf when I asked what she came to do" Lucas replied.

"Yeah, I am not deaf, I know what you can do. But why did you overlook what she did, I was expecting you to sack her" 

"Exactly, who is she? Why is she making me feel this way? What is so special about her?" Lucas asked hiself. Lucas came back when he discovered he didn't take his daughter to school, he was surprised when the cleaner told him, Sophia have already drive her to the school. He came inside to asked how she get his car Keys when he saw his door open.

    The past hours have been stressful for Sophia as she keeps cleaning Ava's room. She's done doing everything she has to do, it's time to go pick Ava from school. She changed into a pair of trouser and a white shirt. She picked up the car key, Lucas gave to her before going back to work, she walked to the garage and drove to the school. She packed the car outside the school when she got to the school compound. She saw Ava with other kids, she looks sad and Sophia Wondered what happened to her.

    

    "Mummy," Ava face lit up in joy immediately she saw Sophia. Hearing her baby's voice, make her kind of happy. She open her arm wide open and Ava rushed to hug him.

    "Ava, are you ok? Why did you look sad?" Sophia ask her worriedly. She is a very joyful girl, so she wonder what makes her mood change.

    

"Can I call you mummy?" She asked and Sophia look surprised. What's she trying to do? What happened to her mother? Maybe her mother was one of the women Lucas rape. She was unfortunate to got pregnant for him.

"You don't want it?" She asked with a pout.

"Why did you wanna call me mummy? You know who I am? I am your Nanny it's wrong for you to call me mum, your Dad will get angry" Sophia said and Ava burst into tears 

"I don't have a mother, my mom is dead and all my friends make jest of me because I don't have mother like them, I need someone to call my mum, please let me call you mum, Sophia. Please" she says and clasp her little hands together, she pout her lips with makes her resistible, Sophia hug her to herself and Ava left out a smile.

"Mummy," she called.
