Most of my focus was on the upcoming launch it was now only a day away. By the ending of the day most of the billboards would be showcasing the clothing collection and the jewelry. That included me and Apollo as we were the models for the proposal and wedding section. Different from billboards, I’d have to check in with the different malls and stores that would also be selling the items. The magazines were already done and being printed, I just had to ensure that I collected some copies for us. And the last thing on my list which were the stores above me I was almost done with the preparations for up there. The stores would be opening on the same day of the launch, the upper class and all the somebodies had been given invitations to come and view the stores.

After touring the stores for a while, everyone would then be moved to one of the conference rooms on the building. There they would have a cocktail hour as well as models going around in Chris’s new clothing line and Apollo’s jewe

(With my knees bent and head bowed) I would like to say sorry to my dear readers who have waited for me to update. God knows I don’t like waiting, but life has dealt me so much up and downs and I’ve had enough. It’s full time I began working on my baby. I just pray it still has a place in your hearts.

Amir stood alone in the training room, hands braced on the edge of the mat, head bowed like the weight of the world had finally found a place to land. Apollo didn’t announce himself. He never needed to. Amir could sense his cousin’s presence when he entered the room. “I should’ve been there,” Amir said quietly, before Apollo could speak. “For my wife. For my life. I ran instead.” Apollo stopped a few feet away, arms crossed, fury locked down so tightly it hummed beneath his skin. “You didn’t just run,” Apollo said. “You disappeared after you buried Dalia.” Amir nodded once. “I buried her. Two days later I was in my brother’s club, drinking myself numb. I wasn’t thinking. I wasn’t present.” “That doesn’t excuse what happened,” Apollo snapped. “But it explains why you don’t remember.” Amir finally turned. His eyes were red, haunted, filled with something dangerously close to self-hatred. “She used that,” he said hoarsely. “Didn’t she?” Apollo didn’t answer immediately. “Yes,

Apollo didn’t knock. He closed the door behind him with controlled precision, the sound final enough to make Stephanie flinch before she even turned around. She stood near the window of the guest suite, arms wrapped around herself, already defensive. She knew. She always did. “What was the matter to see me so urgently? Did Phoe want to see me?” she said quietly. Apollo didn’t answer. He crossed the room and placed the envelope on the table between them. “Read them,” he said. Her eyes flicked to the envelope, then away. A sense of dread seeping into her bones. She had a sickening idea what those documents were about. Gingerly she picked one up and started to read. “This can’t be right. It’s not right at all” her voice rose, bordering hysterical. That made his jaw tighten. “You told me Phoe was mine.” “He is yours,” she snapped, spinning toward him. “I did a DNA test three years ago. It said you were the father.” Apollo laughed once. Low. Empty. Raw. “That’s a

The room felt too small. Too many eyes. Too little air. Too much truth. It was as if the walls were closing in on him. Amir couldn’t hear anything past the pounding in his ears. Apollo’s words replayed again and again merciless, unforgiving. You are Phoe’s father. “No,” Amir said again quieter now, hoping that the universe would hear. That this wasn’t really taking place. He had come to visit his family meet the love of his younger cousin’s life and the son who was brought to light over night. Now his cousin was saying the kid was biologically The papers before him bore the truth in black and white. It didn’t change. Didn’t soften. Didn’t care. No one rushed to reassure him. No one interrupted. His chest burned. His hands shook. As he dragged it through his hair, his breathing ragged. “I would remember,” he said hoarsely, voice cracking under the weight of something old and ugly clawing its way up. “I would never touch her. I couldn’t even stand to be in the same room as h

The corridor outside the office felt heavier than the rest of the estate, like the walls themselves were bracing for impact. Jonathan arrived quietly, professionally, an envelope clasped in his hand like a weapon wrapped in paper. He didn’t linger. Didn’t explain. He handed it directly to Tom, gave a single nod, and left. Tom stood there for a moment longer than necessary before entering the office. Inside, the room was full. Apollo sat behind the desk, posture rigid, instincts screaming. His father and mother occupied the chairs to his right, faces unreadable but alert. His brothers leaned against the walls or sat forward, tension coiled in every line of their bodies. Sam, Matt, Chris, Luke, Phil and Nicky all present. Amir and Anubis stood near the far side of the room, conversation dying the moment Tom stepped in. Whatever this was, it wasn’t small. Tom crossed the room and placed the envelope on Apollo’s desk without a word. Apollo stared at it. A sense of dread alre

  • Hmmmm Pregnant    94. Chaos in the undercurrent

The mountain air was cooling as the sun dipped lower, shadows stretching long across the picnic grounds. Laughter still echoed around us, but there was a subtle shift beneath it the kind you felt more than heard. It as if the trees were whispering something. Apollo’s arm wrapped securely around my waist his fingers brushing against my stomach as we watched Phoe chase Elliot near the water, his laughter carefree, unburdened. Seeing him like that eased something tight in my chest. He looked happy. Safe. He was definitely home. “You okay?” Apollo murmured, pressing a kiss to my temple. I nodded, though I wasn’t entirely sure it was true. Happiness still felt fragile like glass warmed too fast. Beautiful, but one sharp knock away from shattering. “I am,” I said softly. “Just… taking it all in.” His grip tightened slightly, grounding me. “Good. Because this…” he gestured to the chaos of family, laughter, food, splashing water, “this is all ours and soon the twins will be apart o

  • Hmmmm Pregnant    93. Meeting more family

My body felt impossibly light, as if I might float away at any second while Apollo held me. I was still filled with him, and honestly, I loved it. I Loved the way he lingered inside me, the way he had driven me wild and left me boneless. “We should get back soon,” I murmured, voice soft and lazy as my fingers combed through his hair. “Mmm, we should,” he agreed quietly. “Before Phoe starts looking for us.” Gently, he lifted me from the water. My legs locked around his waist, arms looped around his neck. We were still connected, and with every movement I felt him push deeper. A helpless moan slipped past my lips. “You’re going to make me want you again,” he warned. My answer came in kisses, slow and hungry, pressed along his neck, his jaw, his mouth. I couldn’t get enough of him. It felt like I was starving. His grip tightened, hands cupping just below my ass, as he lifted me only to plunge back into me. The world blurred. My thoughts dissolved into heat and bliss. I forgot
