The week had already gone by without me even noticing, I ended up doing a photo shoot for Chris because Callie was unavailable and so was his model that was supposed to do it. Not sure why he didn’t ask Sin, but I wasn’t busy anyway and I used it to keep busy. Tom had met up with me for two days so I felt more than prepared for my new jobs, then why did I feel so nervous. My body also felt a bit tired and weird, but I was narrowing it down to traveling plus working on set for three days and then having to meet up with Tom. Today was now Monday and I would be heading to the office, my boss seemed to be the owner of Stonewall companies. I didn’t even realize that it was such a big name that I would be working under. After doing some research I found out that most of the companies in the city was apart of his main branch and that it was also a well known company internationally. When I saw a picture of the man Apollo Stone, the first thought that came to mind was that he was a God and
The shock that Apollo felt when he saw the woman was unimaginable, yes he was a bit happy and surprised to see the woman, but still why was she here? Had she seen his face while he was sleeping and was now here to get something out of him. What story would she now spin, would she say that he had hurt her to get him to pay up? His experiences with women just was not good, why would she just show up was this fate or was it a trick. He decided he would find out but he didn’t want her out and about, so before anything he dragged her and locked her in his lounge room that was connected to his office. He hadn’t even looked at the resume that Tom had left the other day because he had said that she was a recommendation from Chris. Did she also have something over his friend and had asked him to help her? A part of him nagged that the woman wasn’t like that else he would not have been attracted to her, but still he would not let because of that he let his guard down and end up getting hurt. F
It was now an hour since I had been trapped in this room, damn that man, damn him, damn him to hell. The bastard locking me up as if I had done something to him was rich people always this crazy, damnit I knew I wasn’t. The fact of me pacing around the room seemed futile so I decided to get comfortable and wait for the enemy. There was a kitchenette area, opening the fridge I found that it was fully stocked, from juices, wines, waters and other stuff. I pulled out some sandwich making items along with a bag of chips and the most expensive looking wine. I took my lunch and sat at the island, if I was gonna be locked up I’d stay that way eating his expensive foods. Finishing up my snack and two glasses from the wine I yawned, I wasn't feeling tired a few moments ago. Could it be the wine that was making me feel so sleepy, stretching I got up and headed towards the bed. I’d just lay down for a bit, I might as well should get comfortable because I was unsure of how long I would be stuck i
A knock sounded on my office door, looking up from my computer screen I straightened myself in my chair, reception had already called to inform me that Jess was here. “Come in” I answered, I was happy that she had shown up today because I really didn’t have the time to find someone else, plus I wanted her close by. The woman stepped into the room and I swore she stole all the oxygen in the room. She was dressed in a cute black dress that stopped at mid thigh and it also gave a peek of cleavage. To top it off she had on black heels that made her long legs look as if they went on for days. Her hair was up exposing her long neck and I was tempted to trail kisses along it. The flowers that I had left on it after our night together had faded. She had a box in hand which she proceeded to throw down on my desk. It seemed my Goddess was still angry with me and I smiled. Her deep emerald eyes were blazing and I wanted to drown in them. “Did you have me followed yesterday, and why the hell
I couldn’t believe that this bastard had wanted me to make him lunch even though he had already gotten his lunch. I was at work and he was my boss and I wanted to be as professional as can be, so I was trying my best to be polite and not slap his face. When I had told him to enjoy and not choke I was actually hoping he would choke the man really infuriated me without him even trying. I was happy when he didn’t start a conversation while eating, and I wasn’t planning on starting any myself, I just wanted to eat and get out of there and away from him. He was a distraction and I kept finding his distracting worth while when I shouldn’t. What was wrong with me exactly damnit, I just needed to get away from him. Heading towards the door I suddenly felt light headed, I definitely would have to go to the doctor. I felt strong hands grab me and pull me towards a firm chest. I was enveloped in his scent again he smelled like vanilla and cinnamon and I felt my mouth water. I desperately want
The meeting was finally over, and Apollo was heading back towards the office, to see if he could catch Jess before she left for the day. He wanted to know which boyfriend she was talking about, he was sure she didn’t have one, he’d probably ask Chris about it later, he would know the truth. However, upon his arrival at his office floor the woman that he saw there instead made his stomach churn. He hadn’t seen her for at least two years now, last he had heard she wasn’t in the country, so why was she here now? He didn’t want her popping up and causing any scenes especially with Jess now around, he most certainly did not want her to get the wrong idea. He wasn’t sure why Sophie was currently on his floor, but he didn’t like it and he wanted her to leave immediately. She ran up to him when he was out of the elevator and the invasion of her sickeningly sweet perfume caused him to stop. “Oh Apollo, my love I’ve come back to you, I know what I did was foolish, but will you please forgive
Jess was still annoyed, even more so after when she had gotten home. The image of the woman and her calling Apollo darling kept replaying in her head. Looking at the gifts that were in her room she frowned, it wasn’t as if she liked him so why did it brother her so? Or was it the case that she did? shaking her head she banished the thought. No he was now her boss, he was crazy and also a bastard, but she couldn’t shake that there was something familiar about him. Sighing she got up and took out one of the vitamin gel packets and had one, damn it tasted real good, just how much had he spent on this basket. She could see top brands as well as some that she hadn’t seen or heard of before. After taking a bath she decided to lay down for a bit before finding something to eat. Sin was currently at work so she would have to cook, or should she get ready and get food to eat from her sisters restaurant? The restaurant that Sin worked at was a themed restaurant, she was one of the hostesses th
He felt a bit out of it and decided to take a drive to free his mind, to arrange his thoughts that seemed so jumbled at the moment. Tugging off his tie he grabbed his keys and headed out of his office. A few minutes later he was behind the wheel and cruising to no specific place in mind. His windows were down and he could feel the cool evening breeze against his face. The sky above was washed in an array of pinks, red and oranges with the splash of white clouds. It would soon start to darken, his mind settled on Sophie a bit, yes after the incident she had begged him, but he hadn’t been interested in an explanation. He already knew most of the details behind the story, then a week after that she had just left. She hadn’t even had begged for his forgiveness for at least two weeks as yet before she had disappeared. Back then he had laughed at himself for being in love with a woman who didn’t love him. A woman who didn’t even have the mind to grovel a bit after her mistake. But now that
