Grace and Daisy arrived at the arena later that evening, in sweatshirts to ward off the chilly October air. The energy in the building was palpable, with students and fans alike streaming inside, wearing their school colors and chatting excitedly about the game.

Morris had joined them after convincing Daisy he couldn't miss his friends' game. "What kind of friend would I be if I didn't show up for my guys?" he joked, holding the door open for them as they entered.

At the box office, Grace

  • Holiday Hockey Tale: Breaking The Ice    Ch 20

A couple of weeks had passed since Logan and Grace made their relationship official, and things had never felt better. Grace found herself attending every home hockey game she could, proudly sitting with Daisy, Morris, and the rest of the friends girlfriends. Each game was electric, and she couldn't help but cheer the loudest when Logan was on the ice. She noticed how he always seemed to play a little harder when he spotted her in the stands. Their study sessions remained consistent, though they had taken on a different tone. When they were in the library, they manage to focus on their work—most of the time. Still, little flirtations always slipped through. Logan would nudge her foot under the table, lean over to point out something in her notes, only to let his fingers brush hers, or sneak quick kisses when no one was looking. But when their study sessions took place in one of the study rooms, it was a whole different story. Grace would try to set up her books and laptop, deter

As the night went on, the atmosphere at the bar became more lively. The music played louder, the lights flashing in time with the beat, and the crowd grew rowdier. Grace, feeling more and more at ease, found herself laughing and enjoying the night with the friends. She'd had a couple of drinks by now, and the alcohol made her feel warm, carefree, and just a little bit tipsy. "Hey, I'm going to the bathroom," Grace told the girls, her words slightly slurring as she stood up from the booth. She wobbled a little but caught herself, flashing them a playful grin. They all nodded and waved her off, as she made her way through the crowded bar toward the bathroom. Once inside, Grace leans against the sink for a moment, taking a breath and trying to steady herself. The mirror reflected her slightly flushed face, and she couldn't help but smile at how good she felt. She had just started to freshen up when her phone buzzed in her pocket. Pulling it out, she saw Charlie's name flash acros

As Grace and Logan continue their quiet conversation, Logan's phone buzzes on the bed beside him. He picks it up and saw a text from Garrett. Garrett: Hey, we're heading to the bars tonight. Allie has Grace covered, she'll be able to get in. You coming? We know where you are. Logan chuckles softly, showing Grace the message. "Looks like the crew's heading out," he said with a grin. Grace raises an eyebrow, her curiosity piqued. "Allie has me covered?" she asked, trying to make sense of it. Logan's grin widens. "Yeah, she's apparently getting you a fake ID so you can come out with us," he said, amusement clear in his voice. "They know we're together, so they're going to make sure you can join the fun." Grace laughs, shaking her head in disbelief. "A fake ID? Seriously?" Logan shrugs, his expression a mix of teasing and affection. "They've got it all planned out, apparently. Allie's been making moves for a while now to make sure you can fit in with the group," he said, si

The sound of skates cutting across the ice echoed through the rink as Logan, Garrett, Dean, and Tuck took a break near the bench. Their team was mid-practice, but that didn't stop the guys from catching up between drills. Dean stretched his arms behind his head. "Man, I need a damn nap after this. Or at least a giant burger. Maybe both." Garrett smirked. "Or you could try stretching before practice like a normal person, dumbass." Tuck snorted but turned his attention to Logan, who had been uncharacteristically quiet—at least for Logan. "Alright, Logan, what's up? You didn't come back to the house last night. The guys are speculating." Garrett, overhearing. "Yeah, where were you? You've been glowing all morning." Logan hesitates for a moment, then shrugs deciding there was no point in hiding it. "I was with Grace," he admits, his voice casual but firm. Dean's eyebrows shot up. "With Grace, huh?" Garrett grins. "As in, you're finally together-together?" Logan nods, una

The early morning light filtered through the blinds, casting a soft glow over the small dorm room. Logan was sprawled out on Grace's twin bed, one arm draped protectively around her waist as they slept soundly, their breaths steady and in sync. Grace stirred slightly, snuggling closer to Logan, the warmth of his presence a comforting cocoon. The click of the door echoed in the room as Daisy quietly let herself in, trying to be as discreet as possible. She carried her bag in one hand and snacks in the other, her eyes bleary from an early morning. She dropped her bag near her desk and turned to glance at Grace's bed, her face breaking into a small smile when she noticed Grace still sound asleep. "Must've been a late night," Daisy murmured to herself, setting her snacks down on her desk. She turned her back to the bed and began unpacking her things, oblivious to the fact that Logan was tucked under the covers next to Grace. Logan shifted slightly, his hand tightening around Grace

Charlie showed up right on time, knocking on Grace's dorm door with a confident grin. He was dressed casually but still looked put together, and his easy demeanor immediately put Grace at ease. "You look great," he said as his eyes swept over her. "Thanks," Grace said, a small smile tugging at her lips. "You ready?" "Let's do it," Charlie said, gesturing for her to follow him. The drive to the party was short, and while Charlie kept the conversation light and friendly, Grace couldn't shake the flutter of nerves in her stomach. As they pulled up to the house, the music was already thumping, and people were milling around outside. Stepping inside with Charlie, Grace immediately felt the weight of people's stares. Whether it was real or imagined, she couldn't tell, but she felt hyper-aware of herself. Was it because she was there with Charlie? Or was it because Logan wasn't by her side like he usually was at these things? "You okay?" Charlie asked, noticing her hesitation.
