Six years later

“Congratulations you did it, it’s a boy and a girl” Dr Anderson smiled as he hand me my babies, I held them in my arms, cooing, finding an unfathomable solace and bond I could not decipher, they were beautiful and worth every pain I endure, I fought back tears.

“Doctor, what about my other baby?” I inquire

His expression somber and I have a feeling I will dread what coming “I’m sorry, there was complication with the third baby, we did all we could but….”

“Ladies and gentlemen, we are preparing to descend into our destination, please fasten your seatbelt and return your seatbacks to their upright position”

The abruptness of the announcement jolted me out of my chain of memory lane with shaky breath, I reached for my seatbelt, my hands fumbling as I clasp it together, tears prickle at the corner of my eyes.

“Mommy, are you okay?” my son Noah spoke, iPad held in his hands.

“Yes Hun” I reply back as I help checked and arranged his seatbelt, doing likewise for his twin sister Emma, he didn’t seem convinced “why asking?”

“Your crying” he pesters.

Wiping away the liquid that threatened to flow “it nothing darling, I just missed this place, I’ve been away for so long” I lied, I didn’t miss anything here, it reminds me of so much I couldn’t prevent from happening, so much I let taken away from me.

Six years have passed and I’m back to Aurora hills to take what rightfully belong to me

“Mom, you promised you take us to the city restaurant and fair” Emma reminded me

“Of course, darling wouldn’t forget, we are going to explore the country and have a great adventure” I answer, although mama got some vengeance to execute on some bad people.

“Can’t wait” Emma squeal “we have so much plan in our to do lists”

“Plans?” I asked

“Yes mommy, plans like finding you a husband,” Emma said

“A rich one too” Noah added and I chuckle nervously “you’re not serious”

“Watch us” they reply in unison and I chuckle at their cute resolve.

The plane landed, needful protocols were observed, once everything was set, the passenger walk out, including us, I take in the air of the country, feeling a bit of nostalgia kicking in, I’ve been away for far too long, six years, since it all happen, my supposed death.

 I wonder how they will react when a ghost from their past resurfaces to mete out vindication, I smirk, my plans were all set and ready, I had delayed the process due to my kids but they are grown now and insanely genius.

My company need saving and my step parent, plus whoever was involved need retribution.

“Come on, kids” I usher my twins as we made our way through the airport reception, peering eyes were on us, clicking camera sounds and hush whispers and gossips

“Oh my god, your kids are insanely cute” a bob hair lady who couldn’t keep it to herself, complimented.

“Thank you” it has become a routine, everywhere I go with kids, we bring attention to our mist, cause anytime we step outside we tend to be camera ready, just like now, we have gathered a hurds of swooning crowds, obsessing and admiring over my children, who are loving the attention and keep posing to the camera shots.

Gossip erupts among the crowds “I wonder where they are from?”

“They must be rich; the children exude an aura of wealth and authority,” said another

“Look at that designers wears, so classy, such elegance”

“The mom very demure, the kids very cutesy, Gosh so mindful” another swoon

“These children make me want to shack a handsome man and birth his cute babies out”

I eyerolled at the last heard vulgar remark, your allowed to crush but keep it PG please.

“I wonder who the father is, he must be fucking hot”

Sadly, all I could do is cultch my pearls since I don’t know the man but it all has to do with that night encounter that still taunt till this day, yet I couldn’t know who the man was, who I surrender my innocence too.

“Oh my god” a voice broke squealing “is that the CEO of AK enterprise?”

“He is back, after been away for long” and soon their attention was diverted as it turns to their newfound obsession, I thanked my stars, using the opportunity to escaped the hawking crowds.

Once we are out of eyeshot “that was something” I breath out.as we retrieved our suitcase, structing for the door.

“Mommy is this your city?” Emma asked

“Yes Hun, this where mommy grew up, all my memories are basically from here” good and the bad, flashback of regretful events resurfaces, I blink it away “what do you think?”

“it’s beautiful” Emma retorted “except the Germany stare is too much, like it the first time they are seeing kids”

I smirk “own it darlings, perks of been super cute”

“Is this were you met daddy?” Noah asked, I avoid the question, their curiosity piqued by each second passing, I swallow hard, how I’m going to evade this particular question and as if the universe was by my side, it heeds to my humble call, my phone ring, perfect, and thank you my knight in shining armor.

“Uncle Sebastian is on the line” I informed “stay put” I swipe the answer icon

“Hello bash”

“Olivia” his baritone voice came in from the other end “how is the trip and the kids, jetlagged?”

I laughed “I’m pretty sure it the opposite, for some strange reason they had been elated upon arrival”

“Great and the place?”

“Nostalgia swamping in but I will adapt, I always do”

“Livia” he called sighing “do you have to do this?”

I exhale “more than able, and you asking gives me more reason to”

“Fine, but if you need anything, don’t hessite, I might as well come over.”

“No, no need Serb, focus on work, as much as I appreciate the extra hands and you looking out, I need to do this alone, this is my battle”

He sighs “geez, fine, if you insist but just know my offer still stand”

“thanks”

“Yeah, whatever, tell Noah and Emma, I say hi”

I turned to Noah “uncle Serb say…. but caught midway.

“Noah” I called, he was not with us,

“Hold on, Emma, where is Noah?” she was clueless as I am “he was right here with us’'

“Olivia are you okay, is everything alright?” Sebastian voice filtered from the other side of the phone.

“Yes, no, hold on Sebastian, I will call you back” I panicked ending the call.

Oh god, were is this boy, I looked around, no sign of him, anywhere.

Where did he run to, we just arrived and he is already causing me trouble of finding him, we look around searching for him, I held Emma close to avoid another story that touches the heart.
