Five

　　I laid in bed feeling like the room was spinning, I couldn’t sleep and kept looking at Ryan’s business card, shall I ring him, shall I text him, shall I just try to sleep... I thought about it over and over.

　　“Hey, it’s Katie” I text Ryan, then thrown my phone down on the bed, what have I done, a few minutes later my text alert went off, my heart started racing but why, I don’t even know what he texts back.

　　“ Hello Katie, did you need help” Ryan text back, what do I reply? I want him to come over, would that be wrong of me to ask, is it bad.. fuck it.

　　“ Yes I need help, I need you to help get me off ;)” I sent back then I needed to be sick all that alcohol has got to me.

　　Beep..beep..beep, I woke up with a jump, it was my alarm I need to get ready for work, it was now Monday morning, and I never heard anything off Ryan after that text Friday night.

　　What did I do? I can’t face him today but I had no choice, I would have to see him one day.

　　I finally got crawled out of bed and made my way to the shower, the hot water running down my body, woke me up fully but I still needed a coffee first, I will pick one up on my way to work and one for Jess and Ryan like I would normally do just I would normally get Luke one too but he has started his new job now, I miss him.

　　I arrived at work and could see Jess waiting for me, “good morning, Ryan is already in so straight to his office this morning” Jess said

　　“Morning, this is for you and okay, you look very happy this morning”

　　“Well thank you Katie, and I do, do I?” Jess asked with a huge smile on her face

　　“Yes what happened” I asked

　　“Well, I spent the weekend with Luke” Jess replied with a wink, she had been flirting with Luke a lot when they worked together but they never did anything, but I’m guessing now he has left they are finally doing something about how much they liked each other “Finally Jess, I’m so happy for you”, “thank you” Jess replied with her smile going from ear to ear.

　　We got to Ryan’s office and knocked before going in, “ morning ladies” “ morning sir”

　　“ I hope you managed to sort out your little problem you had Katie, on Friday night”

　　I went bright red, of course he remembers that text, “ yes sir, thank you” I replied, “good, I’m glad you managed to sort that out on your own”

　　Jess looked at me confused, I mouthed the words don’t worry while getting more red in the face, “ right ladies let’s get down to business” Ryan said getting me and Jess to look at him.

　　30 minutes later the meeting was over, “okay ladies time to get to work”

　　“ Yes sir” me and Jess said

　　“ But Katie, stay behind please I need to talk to you”

　　“Yes sir” my face went red straight away like I was a school girl all over again, Jess gave me an confused look once again before heading out.

　　“Katie that number I gave you, it was for professional reasons only”

　　“ Yes sir I understand, I’m so sorry, I was drunk, I don’t remember sending it”

　　“ It’s okay Katie, now of you go”

　　I left quickly as possible out of his office, trying to not look at him on the way out.
