Raphael's POV

If you want to attack your enemies, make sure you have a good defense so it won't backfire on you, and that was what I did. I set up my company for drags, so no one would suspect me if the landowners went missing because I would have had the best defense for that.

While I carried out my plans, someone else would get blamed for it, and that someone else would be the old man that couldn't keep his hands to himself.

“How can anyone defeat me?” I chuckled as I stared down at the city from my office balcony. The night was indescribably beautiful that day, and maybe because tomorrow would be more thrilling, I was in a good mood. My company topped headlines today; the Sander Group would also top the headlines next. I would make sure of it.

“And if everything falls in place, I can live happily ever after with…” I was saying, but a knock on my office door jolted me out of my thoughts.

“Come in,” I breathed, as I walked back to my seat, and my assistant walked in.
