19 - Closer

~Natasha’s Point of View~

“What’s this,” I asked, as Lukas led me to a black SUV.

“We’re having a little night away. I think we both need it,” he said, helping me in.

I blanked as he closed the door and went around to the other side. I sighed in absolute relief that we weren’t going to some loud party. It was truly the last thing I wanted, even if seeing more celebrities and actually getting to speak to them was enticing.

“What about--” I started to speak but he moved in fast and turned my head, kissing me.

“Slade and his mom will be there. I showed Dex your milk freezer stash just in case. We can go right back early in the morning but … I think we just needed a night for us,” he said, his hand going to the slit in my dress and caressing my bare thigh.
